I came here on the advice of my Rick Steves book after seeing the chateau immediately above the restaurant. The Wi-Fi was handy since I had my smartphone, but the food from one of the basic menus was heavy and average-tasting. I tried the salad, lasagna bolognese, and tiramisu. I could only eat half of the lasagna, so they plastic-wrapped the rest and gave it to me in a huge box. The tiramisu was okay and topped with lots of strawberries. The service was good and I enjoyed sitting outdoors. I'm not sure why I ate here instead of a French restaurant, especially since I had just come from visiting Italy. I probably wouldn't go back--I'd try one of the many other restaurants that Blois has to offer. read more

This is basically a sports bar that serves Italian food. Service was not good, but we did enjoy our pizza. If the ambiance were better, I would have given it more stars. On the plus side, it was open in January, apparently a rarity in this part of France. read more

We were on the upper terrace, Le Duc de Guise part - down on the square it's Le Clipper. Nice situation and the personnel are speedy and pleasant. But I'm afraid the food wasn't great. My friend had a pizza and I had a Caesar salad, and both tasted of nothing much. Even the non-alcoholic cocktail I had for €6.50 tasted only of diluted cranberry juice. The menu offers not only pizzas and salads but burgers, pasta and steaks as well; however I suspect too wide a choice often means that quality suffers if large numbers are to be served efficiently. read more

We stopped here while driving through the Loire Valley touring chateaus. We have two young children, so the 7pm start of dinner in almost all French restaurants was a challenge. On a Sunday night in the off srason, choices were limited. We were pleased by the casual atmosphere, and the burgers and steak were just fine, but standard bar food. If you have time and choices, try other options. In a pinch, this is fine. read more

I had a vegetarian pizza, a mesclun salad and a bottle of Badoit sparkling water. Service was friendly, quick and efficient. The pizza was excellent with yummy veggies and the salad had a delicious mix of greens. I also had a very delicious brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. read more

That was absolutely the WORST service i have ever had! We went into this restaurant and sat down at the table by ourselves since the waiters were all running around, and nobody came to us. And then we got insulted as 'HOMELESS' by an asian looking waiter who calls himself the manager of the restaurant. Good luck if you decided to try this place out then! read more
