Lifespan Integration, the therapy modality Justus D'Addario uses, is completely different than traditional talk-therapy. In LI, you don't do a whole lot of talking, explaining or describing. It's a somatic-based therapy. The mind and body are simultaneously employed to process the past and clear trauma. It's also quick! Problems evaporate in just a few sessions (versus a few years like talk-therapy). Justus is very friendly, easy to connect with, and is simply delightful. Also, I love his office! The therapists are always "sick". If they are always sick and unable to treat patients they should be let go. This is the second sick therapist and it's actually getting ridiculous. MIndful called me so that I would call the provider to reach out to them. Does that sound professional if they have a contract directly with the provider?? I can only imagine that level of mismanagement and business communications is a nightmare for their providers, never mind the time I've had to interface with all three parties. You do have to be buzzed to let in and then check in at desk. Check in is always pleasant as the staff is always friendly. A shot out to one of my favorite nurses Jose because his work ethic is top tier. The care he provides is just as exceptional as Dr Daguio. I love that her team is just as awesome as she is. I must admit I was nervous with my first visit to see her because you just never know how it going to go. But from my very first impression, her bedside manner was impeccable. She listened, didn't judge. Asked me questions. Let me ask her questions and just very thorough in our visit. Since my first visit, I've always had the same exceptional care when visiting. Dr Daguio is my family primary care doctor and also sees my son. He is also very comfortable with her and she treats him with great care and service as well.

She does not push any one philosophy on clients and she will work with you on finding what works for your life and your personality. I have been to a few of these "recovery centers" and this is by far the most helpful. Others seem in the biz of showing videos and then holding lame groups were everyone just talks about problems. At Vita Wellness they have specific topics and rarely do you just sit and watch a video. It is all about making changes that work for each individual and if you are willing to participate in that change and to make an effort, you will be very happy at this place!

Their website sounds like a very promising approach to handle deep issues that addiction stems from. I basically went to find my insurance isn't covered and I was to be billed for the assessment. I feel my insurance could have been checked prior to the appointment and I could have been notified about the fee prior (I wasn't). This doesn't seem like a suitable or appropriate way to treat an addict of 20 plus years. It felt to me they don't really care they supposedly are promoting. Their website described offering a holistic approach and I was basically told they only do a group meeting 1plus times a week. So their websites of what they say they do is not accurate either. Basically told I could not be helped there because of insurance.
