We read about Arcbazar.com and decided to try them. We submitted drawings of the space with measurements, described the project and what we would like to see and accomplish, photos of the space. We bid a low $600 for the project and submitted asking for completion in 2 weeks. Within a few days we had 10 people from around the world interested in our project. During the process we received requests for clarification or more information. At the end of the process we had 7 submissions most including elevations, renderings, materials lists and sources. All of these submissions met our basic criteria. All were impressive and beat the $150/hr guy in presentation, value and execution. You can send the designs to friends and family to help you rank the designs. We all agreed on our top 1, 2 and 3 designs. I requested and was given the contact information for our top ranked designer. We have contacted that person to modify the initial design. That is outside of Arcbazar but have to say this part of the process is also going splendidly at a reasonable price. We are thrilled with this process and will never go back. Hints: ~ You might want to allow more time for your project ~ Offer a little more money. The top guy only gets a portion of the pie. ~ Ana, in the office, is also accessible by phone for questions. Just have to work in their time zone. ~ The more specific you are the better results. ~ Our bids came from Armenia, Belaruse, Italy, France, Romania, etc So you get an international flare.

Our first choice ended up being the design submitted from France! We love it! It has a bit of a European feel to it; beautiful, welcoming, cozy, and very functional. After a flood in our home while we had a 21-month-old and a 6-week-old they appeared to be doing things correctly. We later realized that was only because we were stuck in a hotel and couldn't see the shortcuts they were taking. They took advantage of a young family, trying to get back in their home. Fast-forward a year, and the truth came out: - They put the wrong carpet in one of our rooms. I will blame postpartum fog for not saying something sooner. - They installed our toilet in blatant violation of MA plumbing code, it wasn't even secured to the floor. This is basic, entry-level competence they couldn't manage. - they installed hardwood floors that warped and when they replaced it with LVT, they dint remove all the hardwood and now 1.5 years later it's warping again. - They did multiple other things incorrectly, and after constantly following up with them for 5 months, they did ultimately fix them. Despite constantly hyping themselves up on Facebook and recommending themselves at every turn, our experience proved they are not honest, they cut corners whenever possible, and they absolutely do NOT stand behind their work once they're paid. Look up the reviews, look up the litigation against them (which are being added too regularly), our situation is unfortunately not unique. To be clear, I have given elite MULTIPLE opportunities to remedy these issues and they refuse. If you value your home, money, your time, or your sanity, stay far away from this company. They are the last people you want to trust with your home.
