This was a new salon for my mom and I to try, we made a quick appt the day before Easter for pedicures and they were able to take us within the half hour of us calling. While it was a bit busier for them before a holiday, all the staff were great, quick and very friendly. We greatly enjoyed the service and will be back! read more

This place is horrible! I got my gel polish removed and just wanted a regular manicure. All they did to remove my gel polish was use the drill to get it off! They didnt soak my nails in anything, they used nothing to moisturize them, and they didnt even cut my nails! My nails were done by some guy named "Tommy" on my receipt. My nails looked as if a 7 year old painted them. The lighting in salon was horrible and I couldnt see that well. They use mini fans instead of nail dryers??? This place has gone to the dogs! I will not be returning!! Save your money ladies... and go somewhere else!! read more

I chose this place based on the reviews. My daughter has had a rough time with a medical issue and I wanted to lift her spirits with a mani pedi. I called in asking if we could come in and they gave me a time. We came 5 minutes later (traffic). It was the most rushed service I've ever had. They didn't do an actual mani/pedi for my daughter, they only painted her nails -- no cut down, scrub, lotion, hot towels, ANYTHING--despite me asking, several times. She was done in SEVEN minutes, mani and pedi. For me, when I sat in the chair, I looked at the pedicure menu and she said, "oh we only have time for a regular pedicure," which is supposed to be 30 minutes. I was done in less than 15. My toes are throbbing in pain the next day. Just awful, rushed service. Waste of time and money, big disappointment. The only good thing was the frozen themed children's chair. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! I paid $50 for a full set of acrylics, just for three to break off not even twenty four hours after I got them done. Mind you, I did nothing but go to the mall and to eat. I'm late writing a review but ... that's no reflection of the level of service I received! I initially just wanted a polish change but Mike convinced me 2 of my nails were old, lifting, and ... ugly. He was right. lol. He repaired them and applied liquid gel ... that was all I needed to see. Two hours later I walked out (we talked A LOT) with a full set liquid gel overlay and a superior attitude. Lol. Seriously, this was not only the best manicure and nail service -- it was the best customer service EVER ... and I'm quite old. Mike, his wife, and their employees deserve max capacity -- all the service they can handle. Every day. I mean that. I'm a thoroughly satisfied customer! read more

I am visiting from out of town and needed to get the dipped polish off my nails. I went in for a mani and pedi, but they needed to remove my polish. I never have a hard time getting dipped off, but they soaked my nails in acetone the entire time they did my pedicure. Needless to say, there is nothing left of my nails. I had to cut them all off. Waste of my money. They also had 3 different people work on me as they got busy. The person who did my pedicure wasn't good either. Did not buff out my calluses and was extremely rough. Please go somewhere else. I would never recommend. They have signs posted all over saying that their services cannot be refunded. That should have been a red flag. There shouldn't be a reason why someone would need a refund. If you have signs hanging stating that, that tells me there have been enough people trying to get a refund. How about you provide a better service so that people don't have to complain. read more

Mike and Lisa I can not say enough good things about them both. I walked in on a whim hoping to find a good nail salon after my nail tech quit on me... then I walk into LD Nails and I felt like I was home. Mike and Lisa knew every single customer that walked in called them all by first names! They were fast and efficient and so so so nice to me. Mike not only helped restore my poor nails. Went in for a pedi and a polish. The people were nice and I was greeted right away. The woman doing my pedi recommended a different type of pedi then what I originally picked. She said it was a lot better for 5 dollars more so I said ok. Nothing special though. I get the same thing at another salon and the pedicure process there is longer (which I enjoy) I have good nails so I don't get manis.. Just polish. And it really didn't look good. I paint my nails better then she did. Still an ok place. If you want a quick mani and pedi, they do that for $30 so that's a good deal. I didn't pick that one because as i mentioned, I enjoy long pedicures. read more

Thumbs down. Disappointed. Dirty establishment. As I sat there red flags popped up.. Children probably under 10 are cleaning the pedicure bowls and setting up the tools. Nail tech soaked towels in a pedicure bowl (I prayed was cleaned well) before throwing them in the towel warmer. Nail colors were behind the nail tech stations where I was told I could pursue the colors. Random garbages behind pedicure bowls of maybe linens and pillows. I wish there was some consistency. I enjoyed coming here because my no chip usually lasts a good two three weeks! They sometimes remember to ask you if you want water.. Or maybe what kind of service you are interested in getting I have never paid the same amount, yet I always get the same service. A few weeks ago I purchased a groupon. Read the fine print, and it was basic enough that I could use it! As I put my feet in water the tech tells me about a five dollar removal fee. It was upsetting. Here I feel like I've been a loyal client. Never have they charged me before. He says something to the effect of groupon forgot to include it. How is that my problem! Went here for a no-chip manicure after purchasing a groupon. Read the fine print which stated it would be an extra $5 to remove old polish, so I went ahead and did it myself. I made an appointment for a Saturday afternoon with Mike. I arrived promptly and Mike got down to business. He offered me a drink, which I politely declined. Previous reviewers said the staff here was rude. Did Mike and I talk current events? No. Holiday plans? No. Channing Tatum? I wish. Did my nails look beautiful when all was said and done? Yep. This is by far the best nail place ever. I have had them do manicures, gel manicures, acrylic nails, gel nails and pedicures - they have all been wonderful! Their waxing services are great as well. The staff here are super nice and they are very accommodating. The salon is nicely decorated and very clean. Spa Massaging chairs are available for every type of pedicure. Although they have lots of special pedicure available, I just tried the new Jelly Pedicure and it was the most amazing pedicure I have ever had in my life. And believe me, I have had hundreds! It was so relaxing and my feet feel completely pampered! It's so worth the money, and I highly recommend this unique pedicure as it is very hard to find. Appointments are not necessary, but I like to make them just to be on the safe side. Mike, Lisa and Christi are the techs that I highly recommend. read more

I went in for a Gel fill in with two colors. I couldn't find a match with what I had so I picked a new color and I was very happy with the end result. Less thicker than the other place I went too and a cleaner line between the two colors. Nice clean environment, no bad smells and nice employees. read more

I have visited my share of nail salons but this spot has by far been the cleanest and the staff really goes out of their way to accommodate their customers. I went for a no chip full set and Pedi which they have a sale on Mon-Wed for $42. My pedi was top notch especially while sipping on my wine. Mike did a fantastic job. I was a customer of Mike and Lisa for many years and thought I'd give the new owners a try. BIG MISTAKE! I got a pedicure, or maybe I should say half a pedicure. My mom and I had a fantastic experience the first time we came here in November. Mike made us feel very special and gave us a special price on the jelly pedicure. It was great and we promised we'd be back! Our gel manicures lasted a long time as well. We came back last week to get our nails done before Christmas and our experience was quite the opposite. Maybe it was because they were busy but we felt ignored and rushed. My technician was pretty rude and pushy as well. Both of our gel manicures began chipping just 2 DAYS after we had it done. It's a shame since we had such a great first experience but I don't want to chance a bad gel manicure again. I was planning for this to last me through NYE and now I will have to get them done again. read more

Tried this place out because the lady at the threading shop next door said it was good. It's terrible. If I just wanted my legs massaged for 30 mins I'd have my husband do it. She didn't scrape nor clean up my feet/nails the way it usually goes when getting a pedicure. I asked for her to scrub certain spots and she declined saying it would just bleed . Just lazy! Some review mentioned the young kids cleaning but if you actually get to know mike and Lisa you would know they have their children working there to help out with the business. Oh gosh! I came in here to get a mani/pedi because I was having a stressful day and let me tell you, my pain, my stress all melted away!! Not only because of my lavender pedicure that I absolutely loved but also because of the care and experience from Journey. He was so pleasant, inspiring and a positive person to talk to. He listened, he spoke wisely. He took his time with my treatment which was what I needed. I'm leaving this nail salon relaxed and happy with gorgeous nails and an amazing outlook for what's ahead. What a wonderful boost I needed for today. Chronic pain is a struggle for me and it's incredible Journey made it melt away through a pedicure and meaningful conversation. Came in today. After reading reviews and seeing the high star rating I thought I'd be given quality service. Well I was wrong. The woman who waxed and plucked my eyebrows, lacks experience. My eye brows do not match and she thinned them out so much that I pretty much have to color them in. Also I asked to add a $2 tip, and she charged me $3, after I had told her $2 twice. It's a newer and clean establishment. There's one guy there who was excellent. However, he was not the one who gave me a pedicure. The older woman cut my toenail down to the nail bed! Then she took the pumice stone over my ankle and scratched it. Pedicures are meant to be relaxing and enjoyable, not painful and fearful of infection. They did not offer to take anything off the bill and that is poor customer service to me. I'd recommend not allowing the older woman to work on your customers if she's inexperienced! read more

Long time customer who will never return! Used to love coming here. Called today and asked if they could squeeze me in and needed to be done at 12:15. I was super stressed because I had to be back at work. The told me they could and then ran more than 5 min late. When I expressed my disappointment the owner (male, it's owned by a couple) yelled at me and told me I was 15 min early which makes no sense. I would have scheduled a different time and it wouldn't have been an issue if they had just told me they couldn't fit me in. A language barrier I suppose. Very sad at how I was treated and I won't be back. read more
