He let me know of a void under the slab at one place that he was able to fill. And he did a great job of drilling in the grout between tiles so the tiles in the entry didn't chip. Brandon came along behind him and leveled off where the mixture came up through the holes, and dusted away concrete residue. The only reason I gave them 4 stars and not 5 is because they were late due to a meeting at headquarters that ran overtime, and when they hit my mailbox on the way out they didn't come back to tell me. But their work is 5-star.

This is a franchise whose goal is to get your money. After getting engineers' reports and 6 other quotes, I found a reputable company and the work was done at less than half the quote of Groundworks. Save your money and use a local company, and ALWAYS get an engineer's report first.

Monte came out and met with me. He was very personable. I was looking at Sam The Concrete Man and OKCrete, one of their top competitors in the area. I settled on Sam The Concrete Man because Monte impressed me and did a great job with the estimate, and because the bid came in at a fair price. The crew that did the job was led by Jose. At the end of the day-long project, they realized they had made a mistake regarding the leveling of the concrete. Immediately, on their own and without me even requesting it, they volunteered to tear up the concrete and re-pour it to fix the issue. Sure enough, the next day, they were back at my house tearing up the concrete they had just poured, and then they fixed the issue within one day. It turned out beautifully. They really took care of me, and made a big fan out of me. They lost a lot of money on this job because they had to tear the concrete they had poured out and re-pour it to fix the issue, but they never complained. They took accountability on their own--something many businesses would not have done. They resolved the issue, and treated me exceptionally well through the process. Tulsa Masonry Design recently completed a chimney project for us. Our external chimney had bricks…read morethat were spalling/crumbling. I kept putting off the repair so the damage had gotten pretty bad (see first two pictures). I finally contacted TMD and glad I did! Yensay & his crew did a great job. They replaced all the damaged bricks as well as cleaned up the existing bricks (see third picture). Yensay was straightforward in letting us know the bricks of our house have been discontinued so we wouldn't be able to get an exact match. He brought over samples and worked with us to find the closest match to our liking. The crew started early in the morning each day and cleaned up when the project was finished. They are professionals and know what they're doing! Also Amanda in the office was easy to work with, prompt with responses, and answered questions I had. I hate to have to write this because I really liked Josh- I hired them to replace the garage floor,…read moredriveway, patio that went the full length of the house and all of the sidewalks. Even though I kept reminding the crew about sprinkler heads they poured concrete over one and damaged several others. (Josh reimbursed me for the sprinkler repair but it took almost 8 weeks to get the check). They destroyed the grass, got concrete on the brick around the flower beds, on the storm door, and even the ceiling of the patio cover. Instead of removing the gutter downspout his crew just poured concrete in it so now it is permanently fixed in the concrete. When removing and/or replacing the covered patio pillars they caused the seams of ceiling boards to separate. They also put one of the pillars in backwards so now it needs to be repainted. Josh told me there's nothing he can do about the damage because they don't guarantee things... what I heard is we can destroy your stuff but we aren't responsible. Josh said if I had the paint they would come back and paint the pillar but somehow I doubt I will be able to get him to return. When doing the garage floor the crew moved everything to the covered patio but in order to do the patio they had to move it to the yard and cover it with tarps... which didn't stay in place. I had just purchased $100 worth of lumbar and most of it warped. I wanted to give Josh a chance to make things right but he chose not to.
