Three years ago we spent over $11,000 to have our new home landscaped. The design, on review,…read moreappeared to be excellent. Over the period of one year from planting, two laurels had deteriorated to look anemic, four of the yews and one pencil yew were completely dead, and three of the carpet roses had died. BA Landscape replaced them without charge. Now, three years later, all the yews that were replaced are dead, the carpet roses are dead, both 2 ft graft 24 in globosa patio trees are dead and I replaced them. The ornamental grass that was planted as part of the design is too large for the placement next to the other plants----knock out roses and ever blooming azaleas. Our conclusion is that the soil preparation was inadequate, the placement and design was done without consideration for the mature size of the plants, and the care of the planting was haphazard at best. Mike and Brenda Liekhus are very pleasant individuals; however the work on our home was substandard and I would not use them and I cannot recommend them. Look for another landscape company if you are interested in landscape design and planting.
