Of the eight landscape designers I reached out to, Dave was the only one to get back to me within 24 hours. His responsiveness continued through the life of the project. That alone would be worth repeat business, as I'm sick of having to chase contractors down when I'm trying to give them money. We asked Dave to give us a bid on about a dozen individual projects in our yard and then let us select which ones to actually implement. He was happy to accommodate and patiently answered a multitude of questions. The actual job went smoothly and quickly. It started on time, there was no fuss or drama, and a few minor changes were easily accommodated while the work progressed. We plan to hire Glacier again.

We had a…read morefair amount of river rock we wanted removed from the side of our yard, and given the fantastic job he did before we wanted to go with Dave again. Nearly five month lead time and a crew was sent out to dig it - by hand - in nearly 100 degree heat in the middle of August. They did the best they could given the temperature and lack of oversight, but in the end the job was left 90% completed. Gatorades and freezer pops couldn't have saved them. Dave came to the door seemingly in a hurry, asked for the check and left, not checking up on the work his crew did (who also left without saying anything to us). I've already hand-dug and hauled four dump-carts full of rock with, I'm estimating, maybe four more to go. I'm happy I didn't have to do the whole thing so am grateful for that, but the stark contrast between the first job and the second had our necks feeling like we got whiplash. What happened? It's great that Glacier View has blown up, meaning more work for his crew, and it's likely that we're such small potatoes now it's barely worth scheduling us, but it sucks to be treated as an afterthought. Maybe they aren't great for repeat business. {edit}: Dave reached out offering to finish the job, and while I'm admittedly still a bit sour over the extra work I do respect how he tried to make it right. More importantly I'm satisfied with the acknowledgment of the lack of communication and a reassurance of improvement moving forward: small job or large. So, I'm increasing the rating to what it should be.

Throughout the process, Outdoor Craftsmen were customer focused and professional. The results of their design has been stunning. Not only has Outdoor Craftsmen constructed a gorgeous landscape, they also maintain the property ensuring the original investment exceeds expectations. If I have any concerns, I send an email and within a few days it is resolved. Another benefit to working with Outdoor Craftsmen has been their sincere guarantees. Since installation, Outdoor Craftsmen has immediately replaced any trees or plants that did not thrive without question and under warranty. The icing on the cake has been that every year or two, we would have a reason to get a bank appraisal. The landscaping improvements always seemed to retain over 85% of the cost in the new appraisal. For large long term landscaping improvements, I highly recommend Outdoor Craftsmen. I am completely satisfied with my experience.

I worked with Chris who listened to all my concerns and issues, and provided thoughtful suggestions to enhance the overall design.  Once the actual work began, my expectations were exceeded by the entire team that worked on the project, including my Project Manager Ian who personally watered and cared for some struggling plants (that are now flourishing!). Not only was the work done efficiently and on time, but the team also made sure to leave everything clean and tidy each day and were very considerate. The communication throughout the process and the follow up was also fantastic.  The transformation was incredible and just what I was looking for! We were told our project would take 10-12 days to complete based on the size of our job and we were enjoying our yard, firepit, and pergola 10 days later. We did a fair amount of research prior to hiring a landscape contractor and found Wildflower has an A+ Better Business Bureau rating along with several references and looking at jobs they had completed we decided to use them. Their price was fair and a little cheaper than some bids we recieved but also a little more expensive than a few bids we recieved but the quality and value was exceptional! We would recommend using them for your project you wont be sorry. Michael

People would come, but getting bids was really hard. Recently, I came to a point in life, where I needed to get the project done because water was seeping around the house; I needed a new backdoor and also new truck tires. John Lucio came over and gave a straight up professional bid, actually measured the area (as opposed to eye balling it). Examined the water issues and planned out new concrete heights that would take the water in the back- down the driveway and into the street. He gave me a great bid just over 5k which included a large section of my back patio. AND I COULD CHARGE IT ON MY CREDIT CARD! His team came and in three days had the project done. It looks great and I am so pleased. He came by a week later to personally check on it. John is da' bomb! PS: I found them on BBB; they have a long history with a perfect rating.

I was driving in the left lane, and a Long's Peak Landscape truck and trailer were in the right lane. In a bumpy construction zone, a rock flew from their vehicle and struck the hood and windshield of my car, causing damage to both. My daughter was in the passenger seat, and she was able to grab some photos quickly, before the truck exited the freeway. One photo clearly shows another loose rock on the trailer. Being in the left lane, I wasn't able to follow the truck off the freeway, but I called the company at my next rest stop. The very kind receptionist assured me they would take care of the damage, and she asked me to send photos and full information, which I did immediately. They asked me to get a repair estimate, which I provided to them after I arrived home in CA. After 2 weeks passed with no response, I reached out again and was told to file a claim with my insurance company, which would then work with their insurance company for a resolution. Three months have now passed. My insurance company has been reaching out repeatedly, and Long's Peak has refused to put them in touch with their insurance so we can resolve this. My insurance company says there's nothing else they can do if Long's Peak won't cooperate. Now I am faced with living with the damage to my 2 year old car OR paying the $1000 deductible to get the damage repaired myself. Long's Peak Landscape was irresponsible in operating a vehicle with loose rocks on it, on public roads. I'm contacting an attorney to see what it will take to get this settled.

We are extremely pleased with 1st Green for the landscaping job that they did at our house in Anthem Ranch, Broomfield, CO. Their team showed up early every day as expected and worked very hard throughout the day, no matter what the weather was (mostly very hot). Their organization with other contractors to do various parts of the project was perfect & they also showed up when expected and performed their assignments as detailed in the contract. We found their overall cost to be reasonable and realistic without any surprises in the final billing. Any additional adjustments we requested were done to our complete satisfaction and any questions were addressed immediately. They also cleaned up the site at the end of each day. We highly recommend 1st Green for any landscaping project, big or small. The design that Chris did with our input made the implementation very seamless and allowed for adjustments as the job was progressing. We are very pleased with the "new look" of both the front and back lawn areas of our property!! Chris has a very good knowledge of plants that thrive in our climate and knows the restrictions of the Anthem Ranch Architectural Committee so that our plans were accepted immediately without any required changes. Chris made many recommendations that enhanced the overall "new look"
