What? Nobody has reviewed these WONDERFUL people?! How can that be!? I was visiting from Austin, TX and had the BEST pedicure of my life here! I am completely shocked that a town as small as Pekin, IL has such an advanced-level and professional nail salon. I have recommended it to MANY people in Pekin and so far they have all been pleased. I have been coming here for 5 years on and off! I came in today Good Friday~HE IS RISEN~ for a fill- white tip w/ gel. I asked how much and was quoted $55. I'm a creature of habit with the same 5 colors, I have health issues so I come as often as I can and usually with my mom. I was greeted by Lyn, the owner, sat down immediately and was helped by Sophie! We were chit chatting about life and kids, I was telling her about my late brother and daughter etc- She proceeds to do my nails and says "I do accent for nail you for free" "holiday weekend" I said "Thank you" and we had continued to chat.. I immediately questioned it, but maybe just thought it was another blessing! My nails were trashed- two of the tips had fallen off, and needed to to be put back on... (left thumb) left accent nail) 45 mins goes by and the weather was progressively getting worse; Initially she asked if I wanted a pedicure; I said not today because of my time, my daughter was napping and home with my mom, while I got this done. I noticed Sophie using pink, blues & whites colors.. since I am long time customer, I would often watch her do other client nails- very artistic. In our conversation, I stated I am a professional not sure if she caught the hint, hence I don't typically do accent nails... She filed maybe 3 nails, one being the accent nail, accidentally cut my finger deeply, liquid bandaid on immediately without cleaning it, and says "I told you not to move" Lyn the owner comes over and was admiring her work... They exchanged words and she now say to me "$65 but for you I do "$5 off so $60." I said to her you told me $55 for the white tip. She says on the "accent nail costs extra". I said okay. Keep in my mind- I strictly requested white tip- fill only. I go to pay, she asked cash or card. I say cash. And she says okay $55. I gave her $60. There are so many things that went on here. It was the lack of completing the entire THOROUGH process especially for the amount of time I was there. Close to 2 hours in total. Keep in mind, they were not even busy, 2 other ladies getting pedi's. My finished nails looked dirty, uneven and now at risk for infection. Very disappointed. Thank you! read more

Tried this place while on a work break and they did a fabulous job! I didn't feel rushed or discounted for the sake of time. The nails turned out perfect and overall great quality experience-all the staff was very friendly too! Will be returning. read more

I had the pleasure of having a pedicure today and was very pleased with the finished product. I'm diabetic as need to be careful. Holly was super nice, my feet are perfect, and I have been looking for a location for some time. I will be back and it's very hard to find a great pedicure shop these days! God lead me to the right spot and it was just by chance I pulled in to see if there was a nail salon there. I feel truly blessed! read more

Have been getting my nails done closer to home for years, but the place I've gone to has gone "downhill." I decided to try LC on a whim. Very happy with LC! They got me in last minute and took their time on my pedi and mani. I didn't get any "extras" and they still treated my services well (my pedi massage was long). The mani and pedi have lasted too! I'm post day 3 and no chips! (Didn't get gel bc needed to give my nails a break and LC's regular pedi lasts like gel so far!) read more

I had the worst pedicure of my life. It was painful, nails were clipped WAY too short!!! I thought my gel nails were ok but they didn't even last 6 days. I was charged $70 and was given a $10 gift certificate for my next visit because "she felt bad." This was after I was crying because I was burned with the lotion. When I told the man that my nails were too short, he laughed. When I told the man the lotion burned me, he laughed. The lady who did my finger nails said it's because he doesn't understand. Well I don't understand how a business could allow him to give pedicures. He used every tool too aggressively. It hurt the whole time. 7 days later I have no gel left on my fingers and my toe polish is chipping away already. I will never go back. Worst $70 of my life! read more

The Salon is very clean and well kept. Newer massage chairs are wonderful. I was very impressed with this establishment. They have lined foot soak bowls that are changed after every customer, so no need to worry if it has been properly cleaned between customers. The selection of polish is a little less than other salons I've been to. Altogether I was excited to find a place to get a nice pedicure without the worry of sanitation issues. However the next day my polish started to chip and by day three my polish looked to be about three weeks old:( The basic pedicure was about $7 more than competitors in the area. If my polish had lasted longer I would have become a regular customer there. read more

My bridal party and I went two days before my wedding. The man that runs the front desk is very nice and he also did most of our nails. He was fast but did such a great job. Honestly, all of us who have had our nails done numerous times before agreed this was the best place we had even been.
