I found Byron Glover of Glover & Glover through Yelp and he quickly responded to my messages and invited me in to have a look at our documents. Our meeting was informative, thorough, and after 20-30 minutes I was convinced he would handle our situation accurately and professionally. After turning in all our tax documents we had a finalized return less than two weeks later. He charged a reasonable rate (lower end of what I was quoted at other firms in Williamson County) and the overall process was painless. I would recommend his services to anyone needing a CPA and will use him in the future.

This has now been magnified into a situation where we've been threatened by penalties from the IRS/SSA. We should have received a refund on Q1 2021 and as a result of the mistake, the IRS believes we owe. Over six months ago, I was promised a refund from Blankenship for the work related to this issue. Still to this day, after multiple requests and reminders, Blankenship has not issued this refund. When I ask, they reply "I'm sorry the refund has not processed." I've waited long enough to make this review and cannot wait any longer. This is without question the most unprofessional experience and worst service I've ever received from any lawyer, accountant, etc. in my life.

I sent a request through their online form after business hours, and I had a response at 8 AM the next day. I met with Justin, and he was friendly and professional. I told him I had had a bad experience in the past with an accountant charging me hourly and ending up with a huge bill. He agreed to give me a set price and told me about it up front. No hidden fees. I got him my paperwork about 3 weeks before the deadline, and he had everything done within a week. He called with bad news-I owed a TON of money, but he did a great job of helping me find things that I could expense that I missed. He helped reduce what I owed by about a quarter. He helped me file for both my small businesses-real estate and photography, and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend him!
