This is awkward to write, because I spent time with the driver (who's a polite man and enjoys…read morechatting) and I don't like badmouthing people, but I've decided to share my experience in hopes that others can avoid a similar one. In hindsight, I guess I was a little nervous that the driver called both me and my best friend numerous times to confirm pickup times and locations. I absolutely prefer double-checking these important details, but after a while I started to wonder if he had written them down anywhere or just worked off of his memory. The first disappointment is on me. I ordered a limo thinking that I'd receive a stretch sort-of limo, not a sort-of party bus. In any case, I thought it would be a vehicle where we all sit facing each other, not a regular 14-bucket-seat van. The occasion? My wedding. I'd never taken a ride in a limo before, and I wanted to treat myself, my bridal party, and my parents. So although I was surprised, I blamed myself for not asking for a clearer description. Ralph (the driver) opened the door for me, and pointed out that he had scattered rose petals on the floor, which were shadowed only by the flashing strobe light, some old suntan lotion, and the half-full Miller Lite can he had neglected to clean from the back. I thought, "This is not important; the important thing is that you're getting married." So I stepped inside (after he offered my mom a seat up front because "no offense, but it's easier to climb up here." Considerate, but nothing like that comment to make you feel old.) and immediately started sweating because the air conditioner wasn't working. I got married in July. Still, I thought, "Okay, we were running late, maybe he turned the car off so it needs time to cool down again." Nope. We all sat in that hot box for the entire ride. I think the driver didn't notice because the vents up front were working. I know this because my friend had repositioned me to sit as close to those two vents as possible. Did I mention Al Green seemed to be playing on a loop? So everyone in the back is sweating through their formal clothes and makeup, some people are getting light-headed, and my dad is getting really angry. Their discomfort, the heat, the lights, the music, the beer can, anger at myself for not asking for more details- it was too much on this emotional day and I started to cry. I just wanted to get out so bad! So- we get to the ceremony and everything was beautiful and I was right, nothing mattered because I got to go through the most joyous moment of my life! Still and all... The way back. This time, my parents opted for another mode of transportation, and my new husband and his groomsman joined the rest of us in the van. This was a very quiet ride, besides the driver's chatting. (I usually enjoy small talk, but I wanted to give my attention to my husband and friends.) Why so quiet? Because Ralph took every corner like he was in The Fast and the Furious and everyone was nauseous. After the wedding, my sisters told me that they had each almost puked. Lucky for us, we got to take twice as many turns as the way there, because Ralph had taken us to the wrong reception location. To his credit, he apologized profusely and offered to get me and all of our guests into some clubs later if we were interested. So another 20 minutes goes by. Ralph starts talking about San Francisco and how he used to live there, so I ask, "How did you like it?" He says, "Didn't like it. Too gay." My stomach dropped, I glanced at my best friend, praying she didn't hear, and we pulled up to the correct location. Ugh. So close to having a wedding day without a reminder that homophobia still exists. Ralph, I know you tried and you apologized for everything that went wrong, and perhaps I shouldn't be surprised because your prices are very affordable and you collect the tip before you drive. I'm sorry to leave a harsh review, but this trip was the dark spot on an otherwise perfect day, and I doubt you want any future customers to have an experience like mine. Thanks for reading.

The driver announces the stops but not on a speaker, so if you don't hear it and you miss your stop, you're out of luck. Although on this trip we had a cantankerous regular who demanded we go back to her stop. It's $2.25 for a ride, cash, and we picked it up at the Borgata. The first bus got full but the next bus came 5 minutes later. It runs 24/7 but our concierge told us it stops at 6pm. Ask the riders what you want to know- they're more than happy to give you the scoop.

Our group booked a two-hour tour for six people. We wound up having extra and had cash to pay him afterwards for the extras. About 15 minutes after leaving the dock, weather moved into the area and the captain made the decision to turn around and return everyone safely to shore. It was terrifying. We crashed into a dock, were drifting around corners. We were unsafe in a lightening storm on the water. We were back on land and in our cars within 40 minutes of the scheduled trip start, and we ended up not getting any of the experience we paid for. What we did get was a terrifying return to dock. Despite that, we still tipped the captain approximately $150 because we appreciated his efforts in getting everyone back safely. If you ask me, that squall was close enough to see on the radar and we never should have left the marina. We were also not given any safety instructions other than "stand at the back of the boat so I can go faster". Following the trip, I contacted the owner and requested a refund since rescheduling was not possible for our group. Half of our party lives out of state, and coordinating the original date was difficult enough. After the first bit of pushback, I specifically asked that all communication remain in writing so there would be a clear record of the discussion. What happened next is why I am leaving this review. A situation that could have been handled professionally and amicably became unnecessarily hostile. During the dispute I was called an "asshole" and a "scam artist" over the phone after previously requesting that communications remain in writing. The refund was eventually issued in full, but the refund documentation I received contained the word "Cunt" in the refund notes. Weather happens. Tours get canceled. Customers ask for refunds. None of that is unusual. What is unusual is the way a repeat customer was treated after spending money with this business for three consecutive seasons. The problem was never the storm. The problem was the response afterward. If you choose to book here, I strongly recommend considering how disagreements might be handled if something goes wrong.

We actually arrived on saturday while the chili cookoff was going on, and i danced to the cotton eyed joe, cha cha slide, and cuban shuffle at my campsite.We also checked out the festival, and looked at local beers and chili but didn't try any. Once monday came around, everything was quiet. We had the pool to ourselves, and enjoyed it. However, maybe we had to ask or something, but am disappointed that the slide wasn't running on Monday June 10th while using the pool. It should be posted in the flyer which is given upon checkin, that during the offseason, things may not run as often. We also tried going to the camp store for firewood on Monday June 10th, but upon entering it was closed. I don't even think the galley was open either. What if someone was looking for daily specials? anyways. Pool is very warm and comfortable. RV sites are great and easy pull through. it was so easy getting in and out of the campsite. For kids, it has playgrounds, a jumping pillow, and in the pool area, a little kiddies camp where they can play. Other than rv sites, they have cabins, and tent sites. Overall enjoyed this place.

Accommodations include tent sites, various level RV connections, and cabins. I like the cabin with 2 rooms, bathroom and kitchen the best. Not all kids are free anymore, which could be misleading from the road sit. Kids are free for the seasonal site holder registrants only, and infants. I still come back again and again. As tent campers, we had a tent site in the field, which also gave us a little more room to enjoy nature. The restrooms at the field are clean, but the stalls are extremely small that you must do your business with the stall door ajar or you'd touch your face and knees on the door (and I'm a petite person). The office and bathhouse restrooms are far roomier and just as clean. Neighbors are very hit or miss. The staff here are nothing short of amazing. Everyone is friendly and took care of us when we ran into an issue during our first visit. There are enough activities throughout each weekend to keep the kids entertained. Most of all, the beach and lake alone is enough to convince us to visit every summer.
