We arrived early at 5pm and it was already packed! The secret is out! Service was friendly. Margs were delicious. Good was great. Loved that the Burria tacos are crispy and not so oily that so many places get wrong. Chips, salsa and guacamole were great. Breakfast burritos all day which made my friend and husband very happy. I would probably get the tacos next time. We will definitely be back! Parking was easy to find on the street.

I don't remember what I ordered though so at the time it just wasn't very stand out-ish. I recently went back with some friends because I told them I was in the mood for tacos. I tried a few different ones, the Carnitas, the Barbacoa, and the Lengua. I was full with three, but it was so good. I ordered a fourth and my husband who normally gets my leftovers - didn't get any leftovers from me this time! He got a couple different tacos from what I had largely. We ordered about the same, but he got the shrimp which he said was delicious as well. I also tried the signature, Bellanova margarita - I must say that was a little unexpected, not your traditional margarita it was very sweet, so probably not something I'd order again since I prefer stronger tasting drinks, but the coconut flavor in it was delicious if you like coconut. The service was excellent! When we arrived, the interior was super packed and super loud so I was very relieved when we got to sit on the back patio, which turned out great because even though there was a little noise there, we were able to hear each other much better. The server was excellent. She kept checking on us. She answered all our questions and was very kind and accommodating. I've been thinking about the tacos since then, it's been about a week, I can't wait to go back.

The ones I ordered were supposed to come with guacamole, but it was missing, and the toppings overall were not accurate. All three tacos just came with pico de gallo, with an excessive amount of big chunks of tomato on top. The salsa on the side was good, but there wasn't even a slice of lime included, which felt strange for a taqueria/fast casual Mexican restaurant. The tortillas were regular sized corn type but soggy and cold so they easily fell apart. The meat was also not good. If I had to choose, the al pastor was better than the lengua, but the lengua was especially bad. It was cut into large blocks and was honestly pretty nasty.

I think we're all a little tired of places calling something a happy hour and then charging almost full price. Not here. The happy hour deals are legitimately good, which is one of the reasons I keep coming back. The crunchy tacos are one of my favorite things on the menu and getting two for $5 feels almost unheard of these days. Pair that with a margarita and you're set. The Doritos nachos are another favorite. I know how that sounds, but trust me. Order them. The chips and queso, pastor tacos, and asada tacos are all solid too. And if they have the coconut frozen margarita, get it. Add pineapple and suddenly you're mentally on vacation. I've been here for happy hour, brunch, and dinner, and I've always left happy. That's about the best compliment I can give a place.

Garibaldi is a quick service restaurant located inside of a gas station, but don't let the fact they're not in a standalone fool you. They offer an extensive menu of authentic items. As someone who loves vegetables, but feels limited with the current Cyclospora scare, I was happy to find many options with sautéed or pickled vegetables. I chose the Garibaldi tacos azules. This comes with a chorizo taco, and a Cecina (cured beef) taco on blue corn tortillas with sautéed onion, nopales, and queso campesino. I chose no pico because of the outbreak, but had the option of smoked or cooked sauces to choose from and enjoy including green chile. My husband got Gorditas. They were hand made, crispy, fluffy, and delicious. I will be coming back to Garibaldi very soon. I appreciate the authenticity and all of the dietary options!

It's located on South Broadway next to a gas station, very unassuming from the outside, but the food really delivers. I ordered the pambazo with chorizo and it might be my new favorite sandwich. The bread was perfectly soaked and crisped, and the chorizo was flavorful without being greasy. I had recently tried a pambazo elsewhere and this one absolutely held its own. We also shared chips and salsa, blue corn tortilla enchiladas, and pastor and asada gorditas. Everything was well seasoned and satisfying. It's a straightforward, authentic spot that focuses on the food. I'll definitely be back.

You could drive past this place one hundred times and never even see it. Heck, you might not even think it's an open and functioning business. It simply doesn't draw your eye. But, stop in and learn about handmade food that is exceptional. It was just one woman working inside and my order took 20 minutes for her to make. Why? She was hand making every single item. I could hear her back there pounding the bread and doing it all manually. The product she turned out was some of the best Mexican/Honduran food I've had lately. The cheese enchiladas and the cheese pupusas were simply mouth watering and I will be ordering them again. The woman who made all this was friendly and very helpful. She seemed genuinely happy I was ordering food from her place. She might be the owner from the level of care she put into my order. The building itself is nothing to speak of. It looks like a run down old house now zoned commercially. It sits under a dilapidated highway advertisement sign. It simply doesn't look like much but a treasure trove of food is happening inside. Give this place a chance, you won't be disappointed. They do have a few tables inside to eat at as well as a few tables outside. It's not in the best area of town but these kind of truly authentic places after aren't. I'm still smiling from the food. Don't forget to try the actual watermelon juice, it was also "off the hook" good.

She made excellent drinks...even making simple syrup by hand rather than using a premade mix. The chips and salsa to start were very yummy. A super fresh tasting salsa with fresh made chips. My husband got the steak fajitas that came with fresh hand made tortillas. He declared them the best tortilla he's ever had in his life. The steak in the fajitas had an incredible char on it which really adds to the flavor. I got a cheese enchilada and a bean taco. I also ordered avocado and was surprised to see that I got nearly a whole half avocado freshly sliced instead of guacamole. Something about fresh sliced avocado just hits different. The sauce on the enchilada was a bit spicy (I'm kind of a sissy) but it was packed with the most amazing fresh made flavor I've ever tasted in an enchilada. This wasn't a jarred sauce. We sat outside on a lovely coveted patio which made the whole experience so much better. Nicole told us about some of the events coming up and we were so happy to have discovered this place. My Cherry Chula Margarita was great. It was more sour than sweet (how I like it) and reminded me of a Sour Patch Kid. Chula touts fresh tortillas on their building, so after visiting my hometown in NM, I had to try them. They are pricey ($1.25 each) but definitely homemade. The flour tortillas came out piping hot. They had the right consistency. Close to what I am used to, but difficult to accomplish in our Mile-High elevation. They have a lot of BOGO specials and bottomless mimosas on Sundays. I will definitely return to try more of their food.
