I've been to Sunshine Massage Therapy several times. From the first time to the most recent I've…read morealways been greeted with a hug from the head therapist, Ling Ji. She gives an awesome massage that is very typical of the Chinese methods. While many people, especially men, associate all Chinese Massage places establishments places that offer sexual services, this place is not one of them. They are very professional and only offer a professional massage without exception. When I go for massage anywhere, I am specific about my problems. I have a lot of back injuries from an auto accident and after explaining those problem areas to Ling Ji I never had to repeat them at the next visit. However, she would always ask if there were any changes or new requests for attention to another area. During the massage she will work your back area first by doing stretching and then the application of hot oils for the actual massage. Before you turn over she uses hot towels to wipe off any residual oil from your back. Then once you "flip over" she works the front of you again using stretching methods and hot oils and when completed she uses hot towels once again. It is nice to leave there not only feeling much better but also not feeling like a greased pig like I have experienced at other places. The ONLY reason I didn't give this place a 5 Star is that it isn't as close to my residence as I would like it to be.

Add the mini facial massage (Deluxe package) and you have a 75 minute golden ticket of self-care. Just Relax Massage and Spa, in Spring Hill, is nested in an office park just off Mariner Road. Its spa like interior is quiet and easy on the eyes. I was really happy to see that as too many spas, in the area, are a sad attempt at what a spa should look like. A spa experience is for the body and the spirit and Just Relax Massage and Spa recognizes that. My appointment was with Jasmine and she greeted me at the desk,I filled out paperwork and she escorted me to the room for my Head spa and mini facial. Calming spa music was on the speaker, and she shared how the process would unfold and ensured me that everything, from the temperature of the heated table, the water, and the room was easily adjusted to my needs. Jasmine began with the mini facial and it was heavenly, especially the hot towel wrap, she then began with the head spa and it truly was heavenly. The lotions and potions used was such a treat and I could feel the nerve endings in my scalp do a happy dance. Half way through she then worked down my neck, across my shoulders and to my finger-tips with a massage. She then returned to my head massage, another shoulder massage and then finished up with the last half of my mini facial. I was a happy puddle when she helped me sit up. You will leave a head spa massage with wet hair but Relax Massage and Spa provided you with a towel to wrap your head or place on your shoulders as you drive home. Additionally, they provide you with the wide tooth comb used on your scalp during the massage. My face felt as smooth as glass (not bad for 72 years of wear) and my hair was like fine silk after the head spa. I cannot say enough about this experience and am a huge advocate for this type of self-care as it is so good for your mental health as well as your physical health.
