Everything in the room was typical, meh, but there was some noise, early in the morning. The breakfast area is very nice. A big room that looks out over big doors to the pool area. The lobby was also nicer than usual for a Best Western although the decor was sort of old feeling. I didn't feel very welcome by the staff. We stayed at a Best Western the night before in a similar small town. It was about the same price but everything was a little better, even though the accommodations weren't as nice. Note that I read multiple hotels' reviews before calling This one for a reservation. Checkin at midnight was easy, friendly and quick. Room 119 was old and worn, but absolutely spotless. The sheets and towels were a bit scratchy, but smelled faintly of bleach (which I consider a good thing). There was hand soap and only one small shampoo and no conditioner- so bring it if you need it! The room had wood-look floor and tile in the bathroom- perfect for pets. It had a blow dryer, coffee maker, dorm fridge, window a/c, armchair and ottoman, king bed, and a flat screen tv. Everything worked fine. The shower was hot and had Good pressure. Breakfast was far beyond what a hotel in this price range usually offers. It was manned by a polite older lady who kept it stocked and clean. There were scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, potatoes, a waffle maker/batter, a toaster with bagels, bread, and English muffins, yogurt, three cereals, 2% and whole milk, four juices, tea, coffee and decaf. All available in a small room off the checkin lobby with about eight tables. Checkout was polite and quick. There is an area for walking dogs and a small pool that looked fine from a distance.
