Like there's a silo (I think that's what it is?) right outside the venue and also train tracks right outside too. It definitely feels like you are in a more or less secluded area, even though it's very much still in Edmond. The ground outside the venue was mostly large gravel up closest to the entrance, and small gravel further away (like where most people ended up parking). It wasn't the most level ground, which made it a bit difficult for those of us in high heels! It also didn't help that it had rained earlier that day, so there were tons of puddles... so many that you could barely avoid stepping in dirty water, not to mention the wetness paired with the gravel paired with tall shoes just made for a slightly wobbly walk inside. Not the worst thing ever, but if I were the venue, I'd definitely consider paving more of the ground outside to counteract this! There is a small deck type thing out of the front. They have stairs and also a ramp up to this deck which leads to the front door entrance. Inside was smaller than I expected it to be, but it definitely fit everyone that came to the wedding and the reception. It has sort of a mix of the cute country vibe and the fancy warehouse vibe thing going on. I believe you could see the bricks inside, and there were also barn doors on the windows just for example. There was a small balcony in the back. From what I could tell the only way to get up to the balcony was by stairs. Then through a hallway in the back they also have bathrooms and a groomsmen room and bridesmaids room. Because the ceremony and reception were both here, we had to all go outside to wait for them to switch from rows of chairs to tables. I'm not sure if the venue itself was in charge of doing this, or some outside third party, but it didn't take too long (maybe 10-15 minutes). Luckily, we had food and a coffee bar to keep us occupied while waiting for this switch.

The last few years it has not had the restaurant, but it is still well worth the visit! I have never stayed in a more beautiful and comfortable place than the Dominion House. The staff is always so nice and accommodating. The breakfast is amazing! Sylvia has been here the last few years and her breakfast burritos are amazing! We come here at least twice a year and feel like it is a second home to us.

The igloo atmosphere was excellent and something unique. We easily met the $25 min per person. The appetizers were large in my opinion. Three out of four of us ordered the steak and fries. We all had multiple drinks too. So the total for 2 hours with four adults with tip was over $400. That didn't include the rental fee that was prepaid. So the only thing that I would change would be to apply the $90 rental fee towards the food. That is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. Other than that you can easily expect to spend $500 on dinner.

My fiance booked a getaway trip for us for one night in Feb. So, they rescheduled us for a month later when the room was available again. The day before, my fiance called to confirm our reservation was still good, since they never called a few days prior like they had stated they would, and was told we were good to go for the next day. We packed, took our dogs to the dog sitter and we're about to head out, when hrs before our check in time he received a text that they had pest control services happening and were unable to make the upstairs beds so they would need to again reschedule the reservation. How can this even be true when he spoke to the lady the day prior?!?! You didn't know pest control was coming the next day?!?! Was told once again they would need to reschedule but didn't know when the room was available till Monday. Here it is Thursday, and no call to reschedule. Absolutely horrible service!!!! Sorry we didn't care to do the money maker murder mystery, I assume this is why we keep getting excuses as to why we have to be rescheduled, but we still deserved better service than what we have received. Do better!!!!

I felt super safe, and loved all the special decor. The DJ was awesome at getting everyone involved on the dance floor, and honestly this was probably one of the better NYE events I've ever been to. There was an open bar and a Photo Booth too! Loved all the little touches Gail did! I knocked off a star, because they had food catered by Rococo's which was barely edible. The appetizers, main entrees, and desserts were all pretty bad in a bad way. However, the people, atmosphere, and just the general vibe of this NYE event was phenomenal. I highly recommend Gail for your party needs, she is fabulous!

Parking is a bit limited but the event space was great. We used our own decorations and they were very easy to work with. We used their speaker and TV as well as ambiance lighting around the room. Only reason for the 4 vs 5 was the ice chest provided had to be cleaned it would be nice if there was more than one toilet. The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful. We would recommend it and would use again without hesitation.
