This place is fabulous! my older teens have so much fun doing Lazer tag, their arena is quite well done.

Lazer X is so fun. It has the biggest laser tag arena I've ever seen or played in. It's seriously huge, with lots of smoke machine fog, laser lights, hidey holes, bridges, ramps, games to play while playing the laser tag game, and lots of other fun stuff. Even the area where you suit up with your laser gun and watch a movie about the rules of the game is cool. I played two games back to back, and both games had at least 20 to 30 people. The arena is so huge that even that number of people seemed like a small amount. Beyond laser tag, there's also an arcade with lots of video games, skee ball, dance games and other things to do. It's very dark inside Lazer X, but your eyes quickly adjust. When it comes time to leave Lazer X, though, you're in for a rude awakening: It's hella bright outside! Agh! But assaulted pupils are a small price to pay for a good time here. read more

Okay, maybe I am being biased here but this place was amazing! The last time I went lazer tag was when I was 16 years old and thought it was okay. Now that i'm 33 I think its one of the most fun things I can do. Sure destroying little kids under the age of 16 is almost considered child abuse (no physical contact, so no legal issues) but there is something to be said when a full grown man takes control of a powered up vest and lazer gun! It's not just lazers but they have different settings. I can't remember all of them, but one was just auto burst mode, consecutive burst, shields, etc,. They also had a small arcade to kill time before the the tag began along with carnival games where you can play to get tickets and trade them in for... an eraser? Overall, it was an amazing time and look forward to coming back to Indiana! read more

We visited this place for a recent event in the evening. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even took time to show us around before play started. The facility is so new, it has that fresh paint smell to it still. The pizza provided for our party was fairly good, very saucey, and piping hot. We felt that the price to play was fair for two rounds, and the video game prices seemed on par with other arcade type joints. This is definitely a place to give a try if you have kids or a b-day party. read more

I think that Lazer X is a great place for children and teenagers (maybe 15 and younger). It has a lot of arcade games, and the actual lazer tag experience is pretty good. I didn't particularly enjoy my experience, but I would say that it was more because of my age and personality rather than the place itself. For some reason my gun stopped working in the middle of the game which was a real bummer. But the people were friendly and the waits weren't too long. read more

This was some good fun with my partner in crime. Being in our early 20's I thought it would mostly be a laugh, a sort of ironic and nostalgic Sunday outing. It was a great time!! The last time I had been here, I was pretty young and laser tag was still in its fledgling stages. How the times have changed! The guns have improved, the course is great and the scoring system is by far better. You know immediately when you've been hit and when you've hit someone else. The only bits that could be improved are the constant repetition of "New Ranking" coming from the gun during the game. Also, the bases and other targets could be differentiated better. Overall, though I'm very happy! We also went through the "Lazer Maze" ($3) which I loved. Imagine yourself in a spy movie going over and under lasers to tag several checkpoints-- I had such a good time, I wished it was longer (it only lasts about 2 minutes, really). I could have sworn that the Mission Impossible theme was playing in the maze, but Stephen insists that it was likely in my own head. Typically a game of laser tag is $8 (for about 15 minutes), but there are plenty of specials. The arcade has plenty to do, but at 75 cents per most games, we didn't play a whole lot of those. I came to Lazer X thinking I had a coupon for them. It turned out my coupon was for the other laser tag establishment in Fort Wayne. The manager here was wonderful and gave me a discount to stay and play! It is very clean and my 8 yr old had a blast! We went to Ultrazone afterwards to compare. It was dirty, had bad customer service, and the group there was all teenagers. I felt uncomfortable there and my son was definitely out of place. If given a choice again I would pick Lazer X every time! read more

We have enjoyed coming here a few times every year for a several years in a row now. We visited yesterday, and had the typical good time. You purchase your tickets (tip: print off the on-line coupon for $1 off plus 8 tokens per ticket), let the kids play some arcade games while waiting for the laser-tag session to begin, watch the training video, and then play laser tag...Great fun, for ages 6 - 60! Laser tagging is fun & generally clean...meaning, you don't get really dirty, but you will probably work up a sweat if you are moving around the obstacles quickly (remember...no running!) For those that are concerned about germs, well, I am not sure how often they clean the equipment or laser tag area...so you might want to bring your own handi-wipes. It will take you one or two games to really grasp the floor layout regarding where the bases are and the ramps, etc, but once you do, it is pretty easy to navigate. Comparing this to paintball: The adrenaline rush isn't quite the same as paint balls tend to hurt (adding a bit of the 'fear-factor' to paintballing), but with laser tag games, there is no big 'clean-up' required, and smaller children can play also! (Warning: you will want to watch your little ones (around 6 or 7 years and younger) while you are playing, as it can be somewhat dark and scary in there, and if you lose contact with them they may get scared and/or run over by a quicker/bigger person.) Law of diminishing returns. With most things, the first few times you do something are the best, and this is no different. There have been some changes to arcade games, and they added the 'lazermaze' but the laser tag area and equipment have been pretty much the same for as long as I can remember. It seems like my gun yesterday wasn't shooting as well as it had in the past (couldn't always see the laser even though it was firing), but we only played one game so I couldn't really confirm that vs another gun. I do hope they start to change some things with the floor layout to keep it a little 'fresher' for those that keep coming back year after year...but until we get totally bored with it, we will keep coming back! read more

We went here for my son's birthday. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had alot of fun and you will work up a sweat quickly. They have drinks you can buy and a small is only a dollar. We played 2 games with 5 people and it was $70.00 that's kinda pricey to run around with laser guns. Overall we had a great time and would go back . read more

So I just came from Laser x Birthday party package..... to me its so not worth it I paid for 9 players. I feel like it isn't worth it because I spent close about 200$. you only get the room for 1.5 hours but you never know when you will actually get into the room depends on when the party before you leaves, they have not a care in the world on enforcing. I stood awkwardly standing with my cake and decorations waiting for the room a bit after 6 when they tell you to be there at 5:45. I am pretty sure they have NO clue what Customer service is. After finally getting in the room try to throw my décor on table very quickly while they are trying to get me to do the laser tag. so after laser tag we go to eat pizza and everyone is thirsty......... I have to pay for drinks separately and individually....wow after a 200$ party you have to pay for drinks. I also ordered separate food for my other child who can not consume cheese I specifically asked about the cheese and said to hot have it after waiting forever they bring a box full of breadsticks with cheese all over them...... which by this time I could have been a butt ..... I nicely asked for some without cheese and the MANAGER a grown partially balding man like started yelling and screaming..... are u serious great example buddy for your young workers who's customer service is less than average...... I will not be supporting ur business read more
