Clean but the service is lacking. Slow as hell. Workers are trying to figure out everything. Its like they had no training and nobody knows what to do. ??? Getting a drink and pretzel knots took 25 minutes. We only had the lane for an hour. There were hardly any customers in the place. I counted 10 cars in the lot. The customers there were all waiting for service. Some customers just left after waiting and waiting. Workers do not have a sense of urgency, customer service or social skills. Lots of workers but nobody was doing anything. The place is great but the staff was lacking. Fun place but food takes forever, even just reheated fries take 40 min. My husband and I come here a lot and it's fine, just be prepared to wait. The staff is mostly teens walking in and out of the kitchen. Not sure what takes so long. read more

Super impressed! Generations has plenty of activities for the whole family and seating areas for observers. We visited on a snowy Saturday when they first opened and there were no lines. I imagine that it gets pretty busy at peak times. My kids tried out everything except the bocce ball. Their favorites were laser tag and bowling. They are requiring masks and the facilities were all super clean! They have rooms available for private events and there is a bar area upstairs for 21+. read more

We went to Generations for Easter and was blown away at how well the Brunch and (egg) Hunt was organized. They had so many eggs with candy and arcade credit prizes. We ended up making our money back in gaming credit and enjoyed an awesome buffet style meal. All the staff were super cheerful about the event and the Easter bunny pair was a perfect touch! read more

I've been to the Adventureplex several times now and have enjoyed it immensely each time. There are a wide variety of activities so everyone can find something to enjoy. And the axe throwing brings something novel to our area that's so much fun. The staff is laidback and helpful and the area is kept clean. Definitely worth the visit and a great place to take large groups! read more

Reserved axe throwing for date night and got a young man (whom I'm pretty sure thought why me) who was awesome!! Had so much fun!! He made a game out of the throwing and if you've never done axe throwing before, DO IT!! Very therapeutic!! Best date night this girl has had in a while. read more

We went there to see the 80/90 band... they were amazing! Not sure if they didn't advertise but we were 2 of 3 people there to see the band. The waitress and I use that term loosely, saw us come in but we still had to go ask her if she was waiting on us, her hair had so much dandruff it almost made us not want to eat. The menu was a gross piece of paper, we wanted pizza ... they don't make that during the week??? Ordered chicken sandwich's, pretty sure they were microwaved, no taste at all, ketchup and salt packets??? Every time she brought us a beer we had to open it ourselves, and we got a new bill every time like we were going to dine and dash. It's a shame because it could be a cool place. Hope they start to advertise better with the upcoming bands and work on their service and quality of food, too much competition around you ! read more

Generations AdventurePlex - Not a Good Place for Kids' Parties We had our son's 10th birthday party at Generations AdventurePlex. Booking the party in 2021, we were offered different package choices than currently listed on the website. We chose the Laser Tag package for 2021, advertising that it included a 15 minute laser tag session. The party itself was January 2022. When the facility called to confirm, we were told that it was only a 10 minute laser tag session. The five minutes was not a very big deal, but we did have some concerns about it being a 2 hour party and keeping all of the children entertained. We called back and spoke to Megan, who indicated that at the time of our party, kids could usually go through about 3-4 times if we chose to upgrade to the unlimited laser tag package. We did opt for the upgrade, but it ended up being a complete waste of an extra $100+. The lines were so long, the whole party group could only play laser tag once. Despite being a little disappointed, I do understand that I took a gamble on the upgrade and lost, however, their one game was not at all what we expected. The entire party was able to play together while a group of about 5 obnoxious and seemingly inebriated adults were added to their session. The adults were very loud, yelling and cheering while the laser tag employee was trying to explain how the equipment worked and the rules. None of the children could hear this, leading quite a few kids holding their guns unable to even shoot. When we tried to talk to the attendant about how to work the guns, the session was just about to end and she told us there was nothing she could do. I waited in line to try and get the kids to be able to play a second round of laser tag, but was unable to get them in until after the party ended, which was challenging to see our guests off while getting the few children who could stay past the part end time into at least one more game, which the laser tag attendant did allow even though they did not get in until 4:45pm and our party ended at 4:30. I do appreciate the extra time, but the few children who were able to stay late and play, it would have saved us $80 just to pay the $8 each for them to play. The second time through, they were at least able to hear the instructions. I just wish all of the guests to our party were able to enjoy this experience. Our party area was okay, except a large cup of soda was spilled at the very beginning of the party. We tracked down our hostess to ask for some extra napkins to clean it up, but only got 5 very thin napkins that cleaned up very little of the mess on the table and were worthless before we could even start on the floor, so one whole side of our table had a sticky floor for the entire party. The package came with 2 pizzas and we ordered 2 more to ensure we had enough food. On our receipt we were charged for 3 extra pizzas, but only received the 2. The pizza was quite good. The adults walking around the arcade area with beer was very off-putting. While a couple of our kids were waiting in line to play air hockey, the couple playing put their beer on the side of the air hockey table. A 3/4 full cup was spilled and splashed on the shoes of the kids - it's really embarrassing to have a children's party and send kids home reeking of beer. We also had a couple of teen siblings who stayed throughout the party. With the unattended cups of beer laying around while adults were distracted by games and the large crowd, it would have been so easy for a child to make off with someone's alcoholic beverage. I can see the vision of wanting a bar type atmosphere for adults to enjoy as well as an arcade for kids, but I do not think the two of these things should be occurring simultaneously. It is quite stressful to be responsible for a group of children while adults with NO children and alcohol are wandering amongst them. What's funny is this is the second time I have had to post this review. The last one was most likely removed because the business knows this is 100% true. read more
