The website does not tell you the difficulty level at all. The clues offered were horrible. Yes we had to ask for clues. What upset us, was we had it figured out YET they didn't accept it. Then given a clue that was what we exactly figured out. The staff was unfriendly and acted upset that we didn't complete it. But the next clue to turn on the radio was not even on our radar. Nothing pointed us to it. There was a sign on there saying not to turn it. We will never go again. This dude even said that "we have one room that is heavy on math that only 2 people can figure out." Like for real! I want to have fun not so high level math on a birthday event.

Five Pines is a great place all year round.  In the summer they have camps (which I went to as a…read moreyoung lad) with an abundance of activities including swimming, a rock climbing wall, and a ropes course.  The middle school I went to even took us out here back in the day as a field trip.  My church would take the middle and high schoolers out here in the fall for hay rides which is always a fun treat. As for the winter, they offer tubing and other winter activities on a large hill on property.  They also sell warm beverages during this time to warm up between activities.  Five Pines is simply a great outdoor place with numberous fun things to do.  Let the adventuring begin! I often come with my parents and we sometimes struggle to see in dimly lit rooms or things that are in small print. The last one we did required at least one person to crawl into a secondary room so TG we had a younger person in our party or we wouldn't have been able to continue. I think physical requirements should be nonexistent or at least disclosed in the room's description. Again this isn't unique to Escapology which we really LOVE!!!

We definitely ended up paying more as I had to go get more cards mid-day so that didn't make me too happy. We started with the mini golf, which could definitely use some attention. Hole #7 was flooded so we had to skip that one. A lot of bricks are missing and there is a lot of rocks and debris on the green. The 18 holes are very plain with just a large boulder or two in the way. Next was lazer tag, this was one of our favorite things to do (we did it twice as a family). The first time everything went perfect. The 2nd time my gun and my son's gun kept turning off. Was annoying that we could still be shot as the vest worked, but the guns would turn off and then finally back on.. only to turn off again. The Go Kart Rides were fun, they give you a lot of laps and the cars are in good shape. The arcade games are pretty pricey, I would only recommend doing them if you have an unlimited or time card so you're not paying the "retail price" of the game. We loved the bowling. The server was fast and fantastic. The Balladium was enjoyed by the balls, but be warned, they shoot fast and hard. The workers there work very hard at the climbing wall and ropes course. I was very appreciative of them encouraging and motivating my boys when they were too apprehensive to do the zip line and climbing wall. We will defiantly be back in the future, and now I know what we like and what activities we don't need to do in the future.
