When we'd…read moretalk she'd even sometimes complement my outfits during my worst days(she had no clue but she made those days better :3). On the other hand Matthew was it, bossman. He always made me feel low key uncomfortable. My first interaction with him was around a year ago when I came in for some of the "chem of the day" & the first things I noticed were the 1)Wildness in his eyes, like those of a snake oiler. 2) He had his gun just exposed on his hip & even flashed it a bit at a few shady guys who came in after me(I understand the north side is rough but also also if I can see what's supposed to be "hidden until it's needed" he sure didn't have an issue just letting it be known he had it) & finally 3) One time he gave me a huge speech about how I was the perfect person for his store because I came off as "chill" & "someone who could be trusted" who met the "wicked" ways. This was after I'd been in there every day for the past 3 weeks at that point because to be completely honest after smoking there once just to get "cheap weed", I'd always have cravings for more from them, even dispo stuff didn't satisfy me so I wouldn't be shocked myself if they laced things or sold inferior products. The workers who made my time in there amazing If I see you around town maybe we can be friends or something but to the owner, after laying people off & not paying them for the week prior to the raid is a dick move & I hope you don't run like the coward you look like. I walked in and was immediately distracted by all the fun novelty stuff, as well as how clean and organized the store was. I wandered over to the piercing counter and was promptly helped. I always get the same jewelry so I can't speak to how great the selection is, but they had exactly what I wanted and for cheaper than usual. Since my piercing had been out for a while, the girl at the counter recommended that I have the piercer insert it for me, so I roamed around and tried to talk myself out of buying yet another purse with skulls on it while I wait. A few minutes later, I was called back to the piercing room which was clean and everything the piercer did was hygienic. I was in, out and on my way in just a few minutes. Was everyone so friendly that they wanted to stick around and chat? No, but they were as helpful as I needed them to be and would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone looking for a piercing or a unique gift.
