Yelp win ! I researched a man Mecca for my man when coming to MO. This place online looked perfect and right up my dude' alley. So many things that can't live up to expectations. This place SURPASSED them. My husband described this place as heaven, amazing hats, kind folks, great cigar selection and literally had everything my husband loves. I looked like an amazing wife for suggesting he stop in. Anything that earns me points I am ALL FOR! There were some incredibly hard to find cigars available for a price 40% lower than online and at other stores. This place is awesome! Great place to buy and smoke cigars, and they have a really cool shop full of sweet guy merch (knives, cigars, Black Rifle Coffee, Fedoras...you know...guy merch). I first stumbled into this place while on a business trip in 2013. Recently, business again took me back to Springfield and I knew I would make this a "must stop" while in town. One of the most challenging aspects of being a roadwarrior is finding something to do in your downtime. This venue fills this need very well. After the last client dinner finished, I headed over and wandered through the humidor, made a couple selections (including some I could not find in Phoenix), and proceeded to light one up and just hangout in the store. Jamie was on that night and we easily killed two plus hours chatting about everything under the sun whilst enjoying a great cigar. Great atmosphere, products, and awesome gift shop. Highly uneducated in "the law" when it comes to masks. It is not enforceable by the law. I was forced to leave after the third time trying to find a cigar I liked. This is one of my favorite local businesses! We shop here routinely for unique gifts for our family members and cigars/pipe tobacco. When we got married in 2015, I purchased cigars from this establishment for our cigar bar and they were so helpful in getting me the perfect cigars for the day. They have great staff who are willing to help you with your cigar selection and get you something you will enjoy. They have an incredible selection of cigars and pipes. You could easily spend a day looking at all of the cool pipes they have for sale. They also have a great hat selection. My husband enjoys hats and we often stop in to see what they have. Last weekend he purchased a leather wallet and we will probably be back soon to purchase some of their unique and cool sports related decor for the sport enthusiasts in our family. Really love this place, Amanda is a fantastic girl who really tries to pack as much local content as she can in the store. They carry just about anything you could want or need especially in the male grooming department. Their wide verity of beard balms and oils is enough to have you there for an hour debating on your selection "I recommend Mountain Man." Also the selection of soaps, and shampoos are great followed by crafted razors, and shaving items. They also have lots of hats, and novelty items. It's seriously a spot you should hit if you have no clue what to get a guy, because I guarantee you'll find something. My only complaint is that everything smells like cigar smoke, since I personally don't smoke when I buy something "especially clothing" I have to air it out, and wash it a few times before I can wear it; which can suck if you buy a hat. The air is very thick with smoke, and just walking in will make you smell like a cigar for the day... Would be very nice if the out some exhaust fans in especially around the cloths, and hats. read more

This is a fantastic shop! The employees are great very friendly, cigar selection is also great! I only have one issue with the cigar shop , that is their lounge area! Absolutely zero ventilation, would love to sit down and interact with the people but the lounge is so smoky that it's difficult to see the people sitting in the lounge with you. Now I'm not a whiner but if you get 7-10 people smoking 7-10 different cigars with no ventilation just use your imagination as to the smoke in the room. I for one can't enjoy my cigar with so much smoke that it's hard to breath or even see because your eyes literally start burning! Guys if you would get some great ventilation there is no doubt you are 5 star plus because the location and service is the BEST POSSIBLE! read more

I don't smoke. I am a obviously a rarity for JFH clientele, but you'd never know it by the way I am treated. Just For Him is the Cheers for cigar fans...and pipe fans, and hookah fans, and fancy lighter fans...this is a great store with a ton of options. Yes, you will smell like a cigar when you leave. I don't know what some of the other reviewers expect from a CIGAR SHOP. They have air filtration systems and will prop open the doors if necessary...but it's going to smell like smoke. You smell like a wood stove when you leave a bbq joint, and you smell like popcorn when you leave the movie theater. It comes with the territory. If you don't like it, stay home and buy online. They have a fully functioning website and ship anywhere. However, if you shop at home from the couch, you will miss out on one of the best parts of JFH: the people. The staff and the 'regulars' are fantastic. Everyone is friendly and willing to share and teach you if you need it. Don't be intimidated--this means you, women! There are female employees too-it's not just the He-Man Woman Hater's Club in there. Like I mentioned, I don't smoke, but I do buy gifts here. They sell everything from tobacco to hats to beard oil (and I wouldn't mind smelling like THAT...their beard oils smell delicious). Humidors, chess sets, globes, canes, and their own specialty blend of coffee from the MudHouse. There is usually a pot made, and if not, you should ask for it. Cool hats, chess boards, poker sets, and other man trinkets on one side... a nice selection. The other side... a pipe and cigar smoker's paradise. They have a nice round table where you can gather with other smoker's, a very large selection of pipes, humidors, and accessories for a wide range of price points. The walk-in humidor (with what I assume are rent-able storage lockers to keep your cigars in if you choose?) isn't as big as I'd like or have the largest selection (which is why I give 4-stars) but the it's not bad and the prices are really good. A great source for cigars and pipe tobacco. They have a walk-in humidor with an impressive selection of cigars. A tobacconist on hand for creating a perfect blend of pipe tobacco. A smoking area is available with a small area with a TV. TV needs to be upgraded to a HDTV. A large selection of hats, chess sets, globes and other cool stuff for gifts for men. I even saw a small selection of traditional wet shaving products (i.e. Merkur double edge safety razors, and Col. Conk shaving soaps. A great place and well worth a visit. read more

I frequent this establishment and really like the owners. They are a married couple who have a good sense of customer service. The store is divided into two sections. One is the tobacco related items the other is a cool gift shop geared toward men's products. Shaving, hats, chess sets, poker sets etc. Drawbacks - 1) When I go in during the day to grab a cigar or two. I don't care if I was in there for 30 seconds, I come out smelling like a Big Stogie. I will go in for events when I can wear jeans, but have to avoid the place in my work clothes or I stink the rest of the day. 2) I'm not sure but I think if the place had a larger smoking lounge they would tap into a whole other clientele. . I get the sense that some customers don't stick around to smoke at all. Overall the place is an excellent source for a premium Cigar in SW Missouri. read more

Everyone from the employees to other customer are always friendly and willing to give their opinions on different products to help others make the right choice. They are a pet friendly location. They allow me to bring my rottweiler in with me while I smoke a cigar. They carry a wide range of products. They have a huge walk in humidor which has several different brands of cigars. They carry everything from Arturo Fuente, to Davidoff, to Quesada, to Zino. If you have any questions the staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They have a large pipe selection and different types of pipe tobacco. Many of the tobaccos can be bought by the ounce and are mixed in store. This makes many of the tobaccos limited to only this store. There is a large selection of accessories. They have cheap nonrefillable lights, Xikar products (with a unlimited lifetime warranty), Davidoff accessories, pipe cleaners, tampers, and many more. The gift side contains a large variety of merchandise. Great hats, humidors, games, walking sticks and many of items that will make a great gift. There is also a great shaving section. Many locally made products in stock. Even though this location is called Just For Him, it is not just for him. Ladies are welcome to join in the festivities. Absolutely ridiculous! I've spent hundreds of dollars in this store, never once was I told can't smell the product. Why do you have samples of beard oils out if I can't smell them? They were more worried about my mask not being up to my eyeballs. I wore it in, walked up to the sample shelf and smelled various oils "obviously common" the lady didn't mind, never said a word. I here the old guy tell another (that is smelling the tobacco) he has to keep his mask over his face, can't smell the cigars! I grabbed my oils proceed to checkout. He whipped around and told me "your mask has to over your nose and face" which mine was on the bridge of my nose, but that wasn't good enough for him, so shaking my head I pull it up, it fell back to the bridge of nose. He says it again " up is up!!!" I was mad at this point and shouldn't have bought a damn thing! I will no longer step into this building. It's ridiculous how they treat you. Nobody was friendly, nobody would greet you or small talk, they just hover and watch like everybody is a thief. This day in age there's no longer any customer service and this establishment showed it! You can keep your overpriced stuff I'll travel a little more and go to Ozark. read more

If you are looking for cigars or pipe tobacco, they have some of the most knowledgeable tobacconists in the city. I didn't buy my first pipe there, but I wish I had. The people who work there are nothing but patient, cheerful, and attentive to your interests. They also helped me find the best gifts for the people involved in my wedding party. They didn't have the exact items I wanted in-store, but searched through their catalogs and gave me lots of options and did everything they could to make sure I found the perfect gifts.
