If negative stars were an option I would give them!! I went to Layton Nails for a fill as the place I normally go to was booked. I was seated with Michael. I told him I wanted a fill and to keep the shape I already had (coffin). He put the acrylic and then did my pinky nail asking if the length was good and it was so I said yes. Next thing I knew all my nails were way shorter than the pinky and they shape was gone and they looked terrible! I asked him why he did that and he argued saying they were all the same as the pinky when they clearly were not. I told him they didn't look good and I didn't like them. He then said "what do you want me to do, redo them?" in an annoyed tone. I said "yes". So he started prying them off! Yes, I said prying. He pryed the acrylic and tips from my nails. I said ouch and that it hurt and he didn't care and kept going. He left a lot of acryllic on my nails and proceeded to try and glue a tip on. I pulled my hand away and said "what are you doing? You need to get all the acrylic off first" He was obviously already angry with how he removed the nails. He said "do you want me to hurt you?" I said "No, I want you soak them off like you are suppose to with acrylic nails". He then mumbled something angry under his breath, threw the towel on the ground and stormed to the back room. I was texting my mom while this was going and we agreed I needed to get the hell out of there before he caused more damage and it's a good thing I did!! I went to another nail salon to get them fixed and they told me damage to my nails was too extensive to glue tips on....too many layers of my nail had been removed and there was nothing to glue them too. Imagine if I let Michael glue more tips on! I am still in pain from the damage they did and all they do is try to put the blame back on me, making up lies and laughing. My mom tried to call to talk to someone about what happened the owner, Michael, answers the phone saying the owner was out of town. At the time she didn't know he was the onwer but we soon learned he is. So he lied right there setting the stage for all his future lies. read more

I wouldn't come to this Nail shop. They left me really bad I feel like I was ripped off. The lady that helped me did not do a good job at all. I wish I would of got someone else. I'm up set a left a good tip. So please if some comes here please be sure to look at your finished product before you leave. They may just leave you funky. I'm pretty sure the owner was the lady that helped me. So I'm just sad about it. I will leave pictures so you see. Although it was unfortunate I do think it might of been because she was tried. We have all been there right. Still I'm not coming here again. read more

I ended up coming here because there was no wait. The service was great, I did the deluxe pedicure, I got a nice massage, a hot stone massage and a sugar scrub. But once she was done with the polish she kind of just checked out. She told me to wait for the polish to dry and hasn't been back since. Usually they come back and check on you. I've been sitting here for about 10-15 and she just went back with another client. Someone else finally came and checked my toes. So I guess when you feel like they are dry just get up yourself and go pay. But I didn't really like being left hanging. read more

I did not like the service. Kids were running around everywhere and the pedicure consisted of removing old nail Polish and adding a new one and putting lotion on my legs. I told her I wanted a gel pedicure. She gave me a pedicure with regular Polish and called it gel. I asked her again to make sure and she said it was gel. As I was getting my manicure done, the woman who did my nails accidentally hit my foot causing the nail Polish on my toes to get ruined and then tried to charge me for a gel pedicure knowing it was regular nail Polish as I suspected. I did not like getting lied to and overcharged. I gave this place multiple chances because it's close by bit after this last time, I won't be returning. read more

After seeing a banner that Layton Nails was under new management, I decided to give the place a try. I went in for a gel nail manicure and they did a beautiful job! The lady who did them took her time and it was apparent that she was offering the best service possible. 10/10 would recommend! read more
