From the moment he walked in, he was calm, attentive, and genuinely present. He didn't rush, he listened carefully, and he explained everything in a way that actually made sense--something that's rare in such a high-stress environment. What stood out most was how much he truly cared. I felt seen, heard, and respected, not just treated like another case. He not only listened, but also provided helpful tools and advice with no judgment, which made a meaningful difference. His compassion and professionalism made a difficult situation so much easier to handle. I also want to recognize the incredible nurses and staff. They were kind, patient, and attentive throughout my visit, making sure I was comfortable and supported every step of the way. Their teamwork and compassion truly stood out and made a lasting impression. Dr. Joshua White is, without a doubt, the best doctor I've ever spoken with. If every ER doctor and team approached patients this way, the entire healthcare experience would be transformed

There is one check in desk with several people that can check you in no matter which doctor you are visiting. Once you check in, you take a seat near one of 4 doors that will open and you'll be called back. On my latest visit, it didn't take too long for them to call me back. The medical assistant was very friendly and escorted me to a room. She took my vitals and prepared me for the doctor to come in later. I was one of the first appointments of the day so I didn't have to wait too long for the doctor, however, in the afternoon, I've waited sometimes for up to an hour or more. The doctors I see here are usually pretty good about listening to me, but there have been a couple that want to rush you out after giving you the "standard" diagnosis. Intermountain has good doctors for the most part. Inside the room, they had a white noise machine with wave sounds to calm me while I waited for the doctor. The decor in the exam room area included barn style doors rather than typical swing doors which seemed to make efficient use of the space. It's because they are still working out kinks with having rooms available, or the staff being ready. I'm not really sure all the details, but it's frustrating nevertheless. There was an accident on the freeway on the way there, which delayed us quite a bit. Tanner Clinic made room for us and made sure that they fit us in even though we were late because they knew that we had a long drive there. I am so impressed with this clinic. I felt so great about my mom going there that I have decided to transfer my pain clinic from Murray. They were very proactive regarding injections that will come in the future for her. They explained everything clearly and the entire staff was incredibly friendly. As soon as you walk in, you will feel at home. It was easy to ask questions because they want you to be informed and left plenty of time for us to ask any questions we had. I would recommend this clinic to anyone. I anticipate that this will be our clinic for a long time to come and I look forward to having a wonderful relationship with this clinic. Anesthesia got into my lungs and burned them. For twenty one years, I have been stripped of a healthy life to one with a major disability. Yesterday I experienced the same kind of non-caring "doctor" who, I believe, looks at me as a "useless eater". After 21 years of being on oxygen, I was forced to relive the panic of respiratory failure again because he and his nurse wouldn't send a vital prescription that the oxygen company needed . With the oxygen company was literally at my door to retrieve their equipment, Pulmonologist, Dr. JEFFREY WALSH, and his rude nurse refused to help ... they REFUSED. Luckily I have a GP who really cares. When she learned of the "kerfuffle" she stepped in and saved my life...again. My advice to any elderly patients who need supplemental oxygen, DO NOT go to Jeffery Walsh. When he shows his true colors, it may be too late. Perhaps he should move to Canada

(repost from Google reviews since prospective patients deserve to be fully informed before choosing…read moreFowers as their PCP) I've been seeing Fowers for a year or so, and she's a great primary if you only need the basics. However, she's not empathetic or knowledgeable about serious symptoms and struggles of unknown chronic ailments. She's more likely to laugh and tell you it's all in your head rather than admit she doesn't have the answer. If you have serious health problems and need to see a family medicine doctor for guidance on what paths to follow on diagnosis and treatment, look elsewhere. I've seen previous primary care doctors that do listen and take you seriously, so I know there's more like them out there, but Fowers isn't one. Medical gaslighting is a serious problem that can lead to greater psychological stress and a possible worsening of symptoms to the point where a condition is too far advanced for efficient treatment once it has been identified by an experienced doctor Healthcare professionals should know better. I suggest you look elsewhere for your healthcare needs. *Note: When I broke down and told her my worsening physical symptoms had brought my life to a halt, she laughed and told me that it wasn't true. Perhaps if I had brought a witness to advocate for how badly my health has declined, she wouldn't have been so arrogant. Needless to say, I will not be seeing Fowers anymore. ________________________________________ Update 05/2024: after finding an amazing doctor, we confirmed that I have a rare, and debilitating, blood and metabolic disease that has progressed into a syndrome and is now past the point of being treatable. I developed severe UV sensitivity, suffer in immense pain, and have irreversible cognitive and motor neuron damage. I am completely disabled with a novel Porphyric syndrome at just 30 years old. Contrary to what Fowers had said when she laughed at me as I broke down crying, I was not well. In fact, my disease is almost identical in symptomology as lead poisoning. If I had been referred to a hematologist as I had requested back in Oct. 2023, my disease may not have progressed to the point of complete disability. In fact, she refused to refer me to any specialist at all at the time. After speaking with my nurse advocate, she was appalled at this. I've been given an attorney to assist me in filing a lawsuit. Jody Fowers is not only incompetent but malicious to those with complex illnesses. DO NOT TRUST THIS WOMAN WITH YOUR HEALTH. I feel it is my duty to ensure this traumatic experience does not happen to anyone else. Rare and complex diseases exist. No one deserves to be mistreated or denied proper care, much less patients with complex symptoms. Until Jody Fowers understands that, she has no right to call herself a healthcare professional.
