It might not have these active places but they still carry a ton of athletic apparel and gear at hugely discounted rates. The store is sectioned off into two main spaces. The first part where you enter holds the checkout area and all of your sporting and outdoor needs. They have stuff for men's, women's, and junior's. The entire middle section of the store is tables and tables of shoes that are separated by size and out of the box. They have a lot of good brands like Nike, Asics, New Balance, and UnderAmour to name a few. Everything is already at a pretty good price but there is a clearance section on the left wall of the store as well. I spotted some nice pieces from The North Face but they were still a bit pricey. The other part of the store is their licensed apparel and goods section for all of the Toronto teams including the Leafs, Jays, Raptors, and TFC. Outside of the normal team wear, there were framed and signed Leafs jerseys, framed Raps home finals tickets (replica), and collectibles like tiny lego Leafs players, and team flags for hanging and cars. This area also had a special kiosk for customizable jerseys here for all of the major sports. I was surprised to see that they had some jerseys and hats for other NFL/NBA/NHL teams and some of the bigger soccer teams as well. I had come looking for some Raptors wear at a lower price. They didn't have any jerseys and some of the shirts looked a little cheaper than what you find online at the official NBA store but I managed to find a nice sweatshirt and a hat that fit my head pretty well. They were having a 20% off sale on lowest ticketed price of a lot of the licensed team merchandise when I was browsing, so I wound up getting both for $50 after tax.

I'm not talking about 1 rack, I'm talking the size of the regular price side of the store. It's overwhelming. This is the place for deals on EVERYTHING. Jackets, shoes, shorts and all things sports. My man and I come here to get clothes to wear on vacation, swimsuits, shorts, tanks, etc all year round at insanely low prices. Sizes can be limited, but you WILL find something. It's one of the oldest pubs in the city! But now it's VINTAGE DEPOT. I was surprised with the great organization and selection at this store. I don't think I've been to either of the other Vintage Depot locations in the city but I hope they're as awesome as this one. Clothes are organized into categories/sections and then by SIZE and COLOUR. I've never seen a thrift store that does this. Bravo! TONS of shoes, including designer. TONS of vintage Adidas and other sportswear. TONS of purses, hats (new and used) and uniforms (military, factory, coveralls and professional onesies of all kinds). This would be a fabulous place to source costumes for Halloween, costume parties or theatre/film productions. Staff seemed to be mostly young and male, all were extremely helpful and friendly.

I thought it would be colorful and vibrant. The colors were very dull. It made the shirts look old and faded. Not only were the colors reduced but the resolution of my design was also reduced. The images turned out blurry. Very disappointed. I ordered Gildan soft dri-blend shirts, I received regular white shirts (the thicker and harder texture). Customer service is poor. When my friend from grade 7 and her husband had tied the knot several years ago, they wore matching Blue Jays jerseys (classic white home ones) to officially mark that they were a married couple. I went to a Jays game a few month back as part of a work event. I visited the Jays store. I found lots of jerseys. They were expensive starting at $300. I ended up getting a t-shirt that was more my price point. The Shopping Channel is running a sale on Jays apparel. There's a 15% discount. I found a jersey that I liked. It was $249. It was still ridiculously expensive for me to splurge. My goal: Find a Jays jersey that doesn't break the bank. I did a search. I found SVP Sports selling the same Jays jersey for $159. Nice! I didn't buy it online. I saw that this store had many jerseys available. I decided to pay this store a visit last Friday night. The SVP Sports store used to be at Woodside Square. It has since moved to a larger location at McCowan Road and Milner Avenue. It's in a plaza with Winners, Starbucks, Mr Sub, and more. It was raining. I parked fairly close to the building. I then walked into the store. Happiness was seeing powder blue jerseys on my right. They were indeed authentic Blue Jays jerseys. Yay! The original price was $200. It was indeed marked down to $159. There was a further reduction. This jersey was going for $79. One word: Wow! I wanted a jersey without any player's number on the back. I tried on two different sizes. As I was trying one of them on, a female sales associate asked if I needed any help. I let her know that I was okay trying on one of the jerseys. She was being helpful. I frankly wanted to be left alone to figure out my size. Sometimes, it's better to let the customer tell you whether she needs assistance and to leave her be. I found the jersey of my dreams. I was elated! There are change rooms at this store. I didn't need one, as it was easy to try on a jersey over my t-shirt that I was wearing. This store has a lot of merchandise that is heavily discounted. I saw NHL caps of all Canadian teams. It hit me that I don't own a Winnipeg Jets cap. I got one for $19. Unheard of! I lined up at the checkout. There were cameras everywhere. I suppose that prices are so cheap on sports clothing, caps, backpacks, and more that theft is an issue. I got a nice woman at the checkout. She asked if anyone had helped me. I said no. She apologized. She didn't need to. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was great. She let me know what the score was between the Jays and Mariners. It was game 5 in Seattle, with the Mariners leading by 1. Sadly, the Jays lost this game. However, the team ended up winning the entire series. I love my jersey and cap. They are comfy to wear and I didn't break the bank. I'd return for the deals. They are great. The quality of my purchases was excellent. (387)

Quebec Nordiques with their last season back in 1994/1995, that was over 20 years ago! There are also some "Vintage" NBA and MLB jerseys! If you do want something for casual shinny hockey maybe fine, as the price is good. I would not say it feels like shopping at Value Village, but you did need to go through a lot of merchandise to find something that you might want to pay for it. Security measure here is quite high. Seems like shoplifting has been a big problem for management?
