The entire appartment was filled with black mold, pink water bacteria was persistant in growing on windows and in any humidifier or water based appliance. The floor was uneven, bumpy even. This was most troublesome when a repair left the toilet no longer secure against the ground. To which maintenance who came in had no solition, as the ground was not level. The people I've met who are part of management and maintenance are pleasant and kind when met in conversation; however the amount of personal is severly lacking for the size of the complex, rooms are extrememly pricey, even for williamsburg, and do not ultimately deliver on the quality expected.

No one wants to be there but because of this economy we are. All of the other tenants talk about when their lease is up moving out. You have NO WINDOWS THAT OPEN! It is a hotel. If you have pets and use the restroom or cook those smells are there in your room and you have the old HVAC system to try to circulate air. The building has water dropping off the roof and primarily impacts the closest enterance to the parking lot. The people who manage the propertry are doing a job but for the price you pay, and the whole no windows thing, it was just a poor decision. It is in a decent location but if you want to walk to one of the few restaurants nearby or located near the interstate, but again. This place is maybe half filled. I will wait until I move out to share all the stories I've developed over my time here. FYI, the local police love to hang out here all the time. You have to pay $25 a month for the Valet Trash Pickup. Pickup is S-Th and you have to wait until 5pm to put trash out and it is picked up after 7 and then you need to bring your trash can back in your room by 9am the next day. You cannot opt out of this even if you never put your trash out for this service, it is mandatory.

Do not waste money to live here. This is an old run down motel that was badly renovated. The commination is so poor, I am happy I did not have to be forced into a 12 month contract with an apartment community that extorts local workers especially in today's economy. I have also heard from multiple tenants that their maintenance issues are not resolved in a timely manor. Over half of the.building has not been renovated and is still just old moldy rooms waiting for occupancy to rise so maybe their management company can make more apartments. Renter beware

She showed me the available rooms for rent. There are signage requiring face masks. She wore hers but there was one person there working I guessed as a paid member ( customers are considered members) wasn't wearing their face mask. There are two floor levels of rental space. Depending on your needs the rooms can be for a single person needing privacy or a large group of 15. I was taken to the second location, Old Towne Road location. This location is much more modernized than the Penniman location but more smaller rooms. This location is a one level location and have a full kitchen access.
