It was so bad that I was practically disabled. Dr. Ince correctly diagnosed my problem as Psoriatic Arthritis. After trying a few medications that did not work completely, Dr. Ince prescribed Enbrel for me and it has been a miracle. For over a year, I have had no symptoms. Dr. Ince said that I have reached a medically induced remission. I hope it continues! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Ince and his approach. Not to mention the incredible results I have achieved to date. This is a very complicated disease and I highly recommend Dr. Ince.

Dr. Ince was fabulous, not only he was friendly and showed genuine concern for my pain and discomfort, but he has a wonderful personality, great humor and makes brief small talk to get to know his patients yet, not too long to keep others waiting. He gets directly to the issue and addresses it with passion and finality to assure the most effective and immediate treatment in order to offer the most expedient relief to his patients. I know this because I have experienced this when I needed immediate treatment from weeks of pain that no one could diagnose! And what's more deserving of notability is that even with a strong accent, he speaks clear and precise and is very articulate, leaving no guesswork to his instructions! Finding Dr. Ince has not only been a blessing to me, but his entire team is courteous and compassionate as well! I am very disappointed in the change in attitude, but it is time for me to find a new doctor. Most of his staff is very helpful, although I did have one PA that wasn't very pleasant, but I learned to avoid any appointments with her. Also, Dr. Politis is accepting new patients, but his existing patients, such as I, have to wait nearly six months to get an appointment with him, despite being his patient for several years. Seeing a PA is mostly the person you will see once you are an established patient. I have already found a new dr. and I will have two appointments in two weeks and another one in a couple of months; 3 appointments with a Dr...NOT a PA, in 3 months, and he spent over an hour with me with my first appointment, so I am thrilled with this new change!!

I am probably the exception to his patients in being relatively proactive when it comes to my healthcare and he is usually willing to place orders for whatever bloodwork and screening tests that I request when I see him to stay on top of my health. I had to push to get a CAC scan in 2019 which revealed much more coronary artery calcium than either of us would have guessed based on my other risk factors. However the medical establishment (AHA) only recognized the value of it as a tool for coronary vascular disease risk assessment within a year of my requesting the test so I certainly don't blame him for not recommending it sooner.

I called Wednesday and asked if they were just not taking new patients but, you know, if you wanted to return my call.... The lady called Wednesday night, said it was only her and I tried to apologize but she kept talking. Stating this is part of a car accident and obviously, I need to see a different neurologist. I wondered if the doctors she works for knows how rude she is to perspective patients. Except, it's not part of an accident, it's not part of a lawsuit. Today, I called the main BJC number to see about seeing a different doctor. The lady who answered the phone said they had a referral for this office so she calls. Nope, again, the lady tells her she's already talked to me, she is NOT scheduling an appointment for my husband. I guess if he has a stroke before I can get him seen, I know who I could sue since she's now told his primary care and the scheduling lady she refuses to schedule this appointment. (Yes, I can be rude, but I also know that if a customer is irate, my job is to calm them down and try and makes things better. All she had to say was, "I'm sorry, it's just me and I'm really behind on returning calls. I don't know how this doctor's office gets new patients.

This is the first time I could almost say I ENJOYED an eye exam. They have a new machine that scans the eyes without drops, which means not having to drive home with the bit of film over your eyes! (It does cost extra but frankly I think it was worth it). He was also able to scan my corneas, as I have thick corneas that always register high on the glaucoma test (being a new patient, he couldn't just take my word on that!). It was nice to come away knowing that I'd had a more thorough checkup than I'd had in years and all was OK. Plus, my previous doctor was trying to talk me into getting cataract surgery, and this doctor assured me that I was nowhere near needing that yet. I would definitely recommend this clinic.
