Fast for 4 months to the day before my appointment, they call me and tell me Dr Arthur doesn't treat those conditions, so I need to cancel. In the four months of waiting for my appointment, I had called the staff 3 separate times because of issues with scheduling and insurance. Each time, I again stated what I was being seen for. When I found out that day there was immediately a pit in my stomach I had low expectations already because of the appointments I had with her. she's very stand off ish and she rushes you in and out of the office. So I could only assume that she'd do the same with my birth. My baby was crowning so they made me wait 10minutes for her to come. They had me stop pushing even though I was in pain. Then when she did come I assumed I would get to push... no.. she told me to push and the first push she literally put her hands inside me grabbed my baby and pulled him out with NO warning. Everyone in the room was shocked (my mother and husband) and I was also appalled by this. Because there was no medical emergency for this. I thought when you give birth you catch the baby.. not pull him out. And as I assumed, she was in and out of the room, little words , exactly what I expected out of her. My baby was perfect and healthy so I didn't let that moment outshine such a perfect day. I had a healthy first pregnancy and no complications. UPDATE: FIND ANOTHER OB IF YOU ARENT PREGNANT & TRYING…read more They have moved to a different location. Prior to that I was told I needed a new auth & they would request it on my behalf. Never heard from them but I figured it was lost in the move so I contacted my doctor after abt 3-4 months of waiting (I'm very patient) and I got a new auth because I had a positive experience with the NP (Carmen) I had so much so I gave Dr. Shehata kudos too thinking she must've trained her well. Well I got the auth and for my appointment I showed up 30 mins early. Giving myself and hour and a half to be in office to pick up my kid on time. My appointment came and went and I was still waiting. They got me in a room 30 mins after my appointment time. I'm very low maintenance so I told Dr. Shehata what I know works for my PCOS etc. she co-signed. My appt was abt 5 mins but not an issue. The issue is she wrote my visit note saying we discussed so many things and that I agreed to pay out of pocket and we never discussed any of what was noted. She gave me a plan for lab work and the order wasn't given to me (since I had to go fast due to them running late) nor did they send it to the lab. A time sensitive lab. I had to call and get the order myself but even that was a fight at first. Then whenever you send a message to the MA and they call you back they call like you're in the way and everything is a rush. I called and asked a question abt the medication they put me on and flat out was told "It's not working you need to call your primary to see a fertility specialists" and they ghosted me afterwards. Literally. Maybe their focal point is aesthetics now or maybe it's because I'm not currently pregnant but these ppl did not want to take care of me at all. They made me feel like I was bothering them and a burden every time I needed something. You cannot have a provider you can't reach when you need things ordered/done esp time sensitive like fertility. I have a new OB and it's a breath of fresh air. Maybe my experience would've been good had I still been able to see the NP they had but I expected so much from Dr. Shehata. The way they treated me is a disservice to all PCOS patients. When we decided to start treatment, she tells me its going to be close to $20,000 since I have Kaiser. Umm no i dont! I have tri-care like I told them. When my husband called to clarify she tells him "I never told your wife $20,000." Basically, calling me a liar. Whatever! We still are desperate for a child and want to work with the doc, so we ignore it. When it came to surgery time. She sent us paperwork in the mail stating surgery time was 8am. Well, she wrote the wrong surgery time because when the hospital called the day before, they said it was at 11am. When I called to verify with Amanda, she states "I work on multiple patients so I must have gotten the time wrong." Ummm, ok! When they gave us the blood work order for my husband, they put the wrong name. YUP, not his name! Karen the receptionist, also wrote his name incorrectly on a receipt which we wanted to flex. After my surgery, I needed them to do my disability paperwork so I can get paid. Karen said, "Amanda's on vacation but I can figure it out and do it for you". I asked her to please lmk when she submitted her part. Never heard from her!!!!! I had to call her back days later to find out she never did anything. She tells me that she couldn't figure it out. So, she tells me I have to wait for AMANDA to come back from her lovely vacation to do it. Meanwhile, I won't get paid, but why would they care because they are making plenty money off of me and my husband. We decided to end treatment when Dr. Stigen after she gave me about 5 prescription meds to take with about 12 supplements that we purchased from her company. I started having severe diarrhea for about 1 week. I notified them. Their response was to stop taking the antibiotics and if it continued to let them know right away. So, I let them know right away that I was still not having normal bowel movements. I told them that maybe the antibiotics game me C-diff as that happened to me many years ago when I took antibiotics. I told them that I was also concerned with the number of supplements they were having me take all at once with the medications. Well that was enough for Dr. Stigen to pawn me off and say, "we have no recommendations for you, go see your primary doctor." I stopped taking all of her medications & supplements. I immediately got better. I googled the medications/supplements she prescribed me and most listed diarrhea as a side effect. But she didn't want to take the time to help me with HER supplements and medications. She didn't want to take the time to revise her plan and maybe have me take less of them. Instead, she just wanted to pawn me off to a primary. So now I'm left with hundreds of dollars of her medications and supplements that I can't take, or I need to figure out on my own by hit and miss which ones my body reacts to best. But she doesn't care because we have paid them over $7,000. We are just another number to them. Keep in mind, despite all the issues we had with the staff, I was always so extremely friendly and smiled my way through it all. My husband many times wanted to say something to them, but I told him to just "let it go". But this is where "letting it go" got us. The total amount for the program with insurance was $8,389. The insurance pays for the surgery.... so, what we pay Mystical Rose for is: a detox program that you can basically do on your own for $517. Bloodwork and ultrasounds, which insurance covers. You pay for her videos with diet recommendations, which most of the information you can get from reading "It starts with the egg." The book is literally $13.96 on amazon. Oh, that $8,389 also covers their stress relief program "Organic Conceptions" that comes with a little orange journal to help you with your stress. All of which you can YouTube and do on your own. Oh, and you do get to learn how to do Creighton charting with an instructor, or you can just pee on an ovulation stick or use a fertility app. Is it worth paying this "faith-based" money making business thousands of dollars? Not so much. My husband has worked sooo many over-time hours just to have the money to pay these people. I feel sick to my stomach just thinking about how dismissive and incompetent they are. Don't let your desperation for having children cloud your judgement like it did ours.

Since you replied promptly to my previous yelp review, I'm attempting to make contact on here. Please, I need my records. I am currently 37 weeks pregnant. The only office willing to accept a 37 week pregnant new client, Riverside medical clinic Murrieta, is unable to see me until January 21, 2026, at which point I will be over 39 weeks pregnant. Additionally, the baby has been measuring over two weeks ahead, which raises concern about delaying prenatal care until that date. I do not feel comfortable or medically supported with this gap in care so late in pregnancy. I also need to clarify the reason Las Brisas cited for termination of care. I was informed that this decision was based on the belief that I went over two months without prenatal care. This is inaccurate. On November 25, 2025, I attended a fetal assessment appointment that was ordered and referred by Las Brisas OB/GYN as part of my prenatal care. During that assessment, I was advised that the baby was measuring over two weeks ahead, and a size-based due date of January 14, 2026 was discussed. This evaluation was conducted pursuant to your office's referral and was part of my ongoing prenatal management. Given these facts, I believe my prenatal care was terminated based on an incorrect understanding of my continuity of care. I am requesting an appointment to be seen prior to January 21, 2026 to ensure appropriate and continuous prenatal care at this late stage of pregnancy. Without timely outpatient prenatal care, my only remaining option would be to present to the hospital's Labor & Delivery department for evaluation and monitoring, which I would prefer to avoid if continuity of care can be reasonably maintained. Given the urgency at this stage of pregnancy, I respectfully request prompt assistance in resolving this matter. At the very least please reply to my multiple requests for my medical records to be released.

It is now 9:18 AM and I've been calling the offices since 8:30AM. No answer, and when I try to go through the on-call physician they are now redirecting me to voicemail. I know the offices are open at this time as I have had appointments as early as 9:45 AM, so I'm annoyed because I have been at LabCorp since 7:30 AM. And I'm fasting! I still have to drive home after all this waiting and fasting. If my lab order had the correct information in the first place I would not have to be dealing with this.

But when a patient has ongoing medical issues and specifically asks for a parent to be present for comfort and support, there should be room for exceptions -- especially after over a year of care at the same office. My daughter was mortified to go in alone and made it clear she wanted me with her. When I first went to this office in 2018, Karmen Jones literally saved my life. She ordered genetic testing (due to my familial history) and... she fixed me (without going into any details) she game me my life back. Fast forward to August 2024, Karmen is no longer at Trinity () and I am scheduled with Dr Stephanie Francis. Okay, no biggie... I begin telling her that my mom had uterine cancer so I won't take any hormones and she interjects telling me "No! She had cervical cancer caused by untreated hpv and that spread to her uterus!" Um NO, I know what she had, I was there when she had her emergency hysterectomy. That just did not sit well with me. She wasn't my mother's Dr, she doesn't know the specifics but she ASSUMED. She also suggested that I only come in for an exam every 3-5 years. All of this after KNOWING I have a family history of uterine cancer and genetic testing that shows other mutations related to Gastro and reproductive cancers. I'm not surprised seeing these other comments about her. If you choose to go here maybe choose on of the other providers.
