The office does not answer the phones. You will almost always get voicemail. They seem to do email response faster than phone calls. They cancelled my wive's surgery the week of, because of some medical clearance they wanted within a certain time frame. Dr. Quinata has also cancelled another appointment same day, because her surgery ran late. We had to push her surgery another 2 months. Dr. Quinata deamnoer is not very warm but straight to the point and matter of fact. Some patients may like that, but if you want some one who is caring, smiling, look elsewhere. The doctor also gave my wife the bare minimum time off work, even though it was going to be a procedure done in the hospital. She told my wife if she was still hurting then to call her office for an appt to "see" about taking more time off work. A week off work is not enough when your going through two surgeries at the same time. The office also does NOT do disability paper work for you. They make you do it yourself on the Gov't website. Any paper-work you do need for your disability that has to be filled out by the office or doctor will have a fee from the office. My wife will be looking for a new doctor. I am just thankful the surgery went well and the nurses that worked at the hospital were kind. read more

I had a very negative experience with Dr. James Neal at this gynecologist office. During my visit, the doctor pressured me into getting a Pap smear (even though I was not due for one) and also insisted on STD testing, even though I made it clear I wasn't concerned about STDs. I felt pushed into procedures I didn't ask for or feel were necessary. To make things worse, the office mishandled my STD test by failing to include the required information on the lab tube, which delayed my results. When I called to follow up, I was told they'd contact the lab to fix it. I eventually received my STD results, but no Pap smear results. When I asked about the Pap smear, they told me it could take up to two weeks. Fine, but two weeks came and went, and I still heard nothing. I messaged the office again, only to get a phone call informing me they lost my Pap smear sample and I would have to come back and do the test all over again. This level of disorganization is unacceptable, especially when it comes to something as sensitive and important as women's health. Between the unnecessary pressure, careless errors, and lack of communication, I won't be returning and do not recommend this office to others. read more

It was a horrible experience! My pap smear came back abnormal. They try to do a biopsy in office. It was so painful.I couldn't take it. I ended up going to my aunt's doctor at cedar sinai in los angeles. She was battling ovarian cancer I have a family history. Her doctor took me into the hospital.I did a biopsy to find out that I had cervical.Cancer and caught it soon enough to be able to remove it. Eight months later, received a letter from platinum women saying that I had to go in for a follow-up regarding my abnormal pat smear. Buy that time.God knows the cancer could have spread. Do not recommend them for anything. It could be a matter of life. And death. Not to mention, it's impossible to get a hold of their office read more

Updated 11/14/2025 - I am currently at LabCorp waiting to get labs done. I showed up early just to find out that the lab order given to me from Platinum Women's Healthcare did not have ANY of the doctor's information that LabCorp needed so they could get me in the back. Tried calling at 8:00 am to fix the issue, got connected to the on-call physician whom advised I call the office at 8:30 when they open. It is now 9:18 AM and I've been calling the offices since 8:30AM. No answer, and when I try to go through the on-call physician they are now redirecting me to voicemail. I know the offices are open at this time as I have had appointments as early as 9:45 AM, so I'm annoyed because I have been at LabCorp since 7:30 AM. And I'm fasting! I still have to drive home after all this waiting and fasting. If my lab order had the correct information in the first place I would not have to be dealing with this. read more

I've never had this much trouble with trying to reach a doctors office. I've officially called 9 times to reschedule an appointment within the past 2 days. I left a call back number, they called me back 6 hours later, and of course I missed the call. Call them back, all agents are busy. Waited in the queue for 10 minutes and heard nothing. I'm truly thinking about going somewhere else. read more

I have a referral to see a gynecologist here- I tried calling at 2pm but their recording said they are closed even though the recording says "office hours M-F 8:30-4:30 pm. The recording says you can make your appt on line 24hrs. When I tried the website it doesn't allow scheduling and gives you the number to call. There is no way to communicate electronically since there is no help or contact links for email submission. This is very poor service!!! I'm going to find a different provider. read more

Called to make a gyn appointment for replacing iud that Dr. Neil had placed 5 years prior. Since i hadn't been in 3 years to office i was a "new patient". Since i had to have 3 appointments for the first iud and they made me wait 2 months to replace the iud i bleed the whole time. I didn't want to do that again. So this time i said 2 appointments 1 for consult and well woman and 1 to remove and replace iud at same time. Made appointments 3 months out that's their soonest and i made both appointments Then 2 weeks before they call to reschedule don't have any appointments until after nov.but they don't have that out. Its Aug 18th. I said well i have appointment for Sep 26 can we do 1 then or all then or 1 more appointment. They put me on hold 3 times made me wait 10 to 14 minutes 2 times. They called me for goodness sake. They were trying to make a pap smear and iud exchange 3 visits but they don't have any appointments. By the time i was on hold for 30 minutes and they were snippy and rude and that they were busy in person and I should be patient. I said you called me to reschedule my appointment i made 3 months ago. Anyway i had enough with there snippy bullcrap and i said i am not coming to this office and i told that bitch on the phone to fuck off. Really 2 appointments was more than enough for pap and iud change really should be 1 appointment. Fuck off forever you pile of shot bitches. The doctor himself was kind 5 years ago but those whitches are evil that run the front desk. read more

What a terrible excuse for a women's health facility. I had a great experience with Tanya, she was very caring and listened to my concerns and took her time with me. I would love to continue seeing her. That said, does any one work here?! I have been here in the waiting room while 3-4 people sat behind the desk yet EVERY TIME I CALL, no one answers. I have been trying for a week and nothing. You get an appt desk voicemail every time! I tried to act like a "new patient" because apparently new patients get to talk to someone different and I just sat on hold for 15 min before giving up, then tried the "office manager" option which immediately goes to voicemail. Other reviews say they have driven into the office just to talk to the front desk and make an appointment. REALLY?!?! I truly cannot image being a medical practitioner and working in an office where patients cannot call and make an appointment OR being the manager of an office that is clearly so poorly run. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I will literally drive to San Diego before I have an OBGYN who cannot pick up the phone when patients call. RIDICULOUS! read more

I went to this office for my whole pregnancy, although I lived in San Diego (for insurance purposes) they were very flexible with getting me appointments that fit my schedule for school, & avoiding high traffic times. I ended up having my baby in San Diego with a different physician but I had no bad experiences here throughout my pregnancy care! Dr Neal was very thorough and I never felt dismissed or rushed in any way. read more

The only good thing I can say is I love my ultrasound tech Nina. She is the sweetest nicest lady ever. On the other hand I have been there twice now and my third time to do my checkups and ultrasounds should be in 2/3 weeks. It should not be this difficult to schedule an appointment. Usually you do it at your previous one, which I did for the midwife apt, but there is only ONE person who schedules ultrasound appointments and I have waited almost a month and still don't have my appointment. I have been told three times that someone would call me & I have been the one calling with no luck. Disorganized and chaotic. read more

I went to see a doctor at their Temecula clinic in late 2023 and was encouraged by reading all the positive reviews they had. This was the one and only time I saw an OBGYN with my insurance and the first time at the Platinum Women's Health clinic. Jan 2024 comes around and I am slapped with a $487 bill for that visit! At no point did anyone mention that this visit would not be anything different than what it was, a regular preventative maintenance visit, but they coded it as something like an "uncovered office visit". I tried calling the office at least 20 times to try and clear things up and finally got a hold of the office manager. She said "email me" and I never heard from them again. This office runs like a place that churns through people in the area and has no concern for the actual patients. Do Not believe all of these positive reviews! This has to be one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a doctor's clinic. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here. read more

I drove an hour from where I live to go to this practice to see a midwife I had seen from my previous pregnancy at Kaiser. I loved my midwife, however, she was the ONLY positive thing about this practice. The OB, Dr. Neal, was NEVER on time, I always waited at least 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment to even be called back and then another 30 minutes just to be seen all for a 3 minute check in. I bit my tongue this whole time because I loved my midwife and the hassle was worth it for her to deliver my baby. I gave birth, went to my 2 week postpartum appointment, and after that my midwife moved practices. So now I'm left with all other staff, and they're kind of the worst. I drove an hour to go to my 6 week postpartum appointment, I got there 20 minutes early as THEY requested so I could fill out paperwork. When I got there the midwife I was supposed to see was running 20 minutes late, no biggie, I waited a full hour before asking how much longer it would be to be seen as I had a new born at home and I had already been gone 2 hours for an appointment that should have been quick. When I asked they said there were still 2 patients in front of me and it would likely be another hour, so I let them know I had an appointment scheduled in 2 weeks to get an IUD and that I would be back then, but that I couldn't wait another hour to be seen as I had childcare at home that needed to leave at a certain time. Fast forward to today, they had called me multiple times/texted multiple times to confirm my IUD insertion appointment for today, I drove the hour to Temecula all for them to say I can't get my IUD because I need to get my 6 weeks post partum appointment done first, and they can't do them at the same time because then they can't bill the insurance "correctly" aka they can't bill the insurance 2 times and make more money. This place DOES NOT care about your time at all, they only care about getting as much from insurance as possible. There offices are a mess and they can't communicate with you or eachother efficiently. They have 1.5 stars for a reason, I wouldn't recommend this practice to anyone. Look elsewhere if you want a practice that actually cares about you. read more

Front desk not friendly at all. Also was denied prenatal care at 38 weeks pregnant because I couldn't produce a negative Covid test from a doctor's office or lab during the height of the rapid test shortage. ( had taken two at home tests which were both negative) I was so stressed out from that, I started having painful contractions that night and my water broke two days later. I will say that Dr. Neil who was not my Obgyn but ended up delivering my baby was very pleasant...so if you do decide on this place I'd ask for him. And that is coming from someone who had sworn off male obgyns because of bad experiences. read more

Due to insurance issues leading up to my first appt with Dr. Neal, I wasn't able to be referred until I was almost 13 weeks. The office staff were extremely helpful on the phone and were able to get me in within a week of being referred. There's some test that had to be done sooner rather than later, and the staff was able to work around my work schedule and get me early morning or late appts. Dr. Neal was great too! Review specifically targeted for PA Stephane Francis and Dr. Florence Quinata. I've been a patient since July 2023, for my first pregnancy. Currently 5 1/2 months pregnant and I walked out of the office today with my medical records in hand, tears in my eyes, and I will not be returning. Dr. Quinata is inaccurate, argumentative, and unapologetic. She had incorrect information referencing my last menstrual cycle, due date, and the office consistently does not follow up for medical records/ results from blood work or other required testing during pregnancy. Each visit, I've had to come with calendar in hand to confirm all blood work/testing has been completed and request Platinum Women's Health advocate and follow up for my results. The office seems incompetent and suffers from a severe lack of proactiveness. Dr. Quinata had all incorrect information during my appointment, did not apologize at all or opt for a bedside manner that apologized for the oversight in general. Instead, she was combative, aggressive towards me, and told me that because I had seen PA Stephanie Francis in my prior visits, that she "wasn't responsible for knowing my history" and that it "wasn't her fault." The lack of responsibility for being a DOCTOR that should be reviewing patient charts/info prior to visits is beyond me. Topped with a severe lack of bedside manner and compassion for others was the reason I chose to leave and find a new OBGYN to complete my pregnancy with. I'm shocked she is a medical professional as I wouldn't use either adjective to describe her level of care. Absolutely horrible experience and I hope she finds a new career. read more

Dr. Neal has been fantastic. He takes time to explain what is going on with my health, he is very easy to talk to and it is obvious he cares for his patients. I receive quick responses to questions. I am Very glad I decided to come to this office. read more

I can honestly say I have never had a worse medical experience, and I never made it past the front desk. The lack of compassion shown in walking in 5 mins after the time I was texted to be there was like nothing I've ever experienced, especially within the medical space. I should have believed other reviews (you will see them all here!), as I can't imagine the overall culture of the office based on just my interaction with the front desk. I left the office in tears after waiting 2 months to get in, then being told (without an ounce of sympathy) that it would be another 2 months until I could reschedule, again, after a explaining I was 5 mins late from missing my turn into the parking lot. No acknowledgement that their text to me had the wrong arrival time on it (shown to them that it read 15 mins later than they said I had to be there in order to not be rescheduled), nor that I was already well on my way through my paperwork 4 mins ahead of my appt start time. Also no acknowledgment (and again, I could have taken this as a sign) that their patient portal is broken, and there wasn't an option to complete my new patient forms ahead of the appt. I have never been to any office without a small padding of time to accommodate traffic, etc. To say 5 mins late (and still 10 mins ahead of my appt) requires a 2 month delay on being seen is unbelievable. They just kept parroting (clearly without any actual thought), "we have to follow the process", after discussing me openly to each other like I wasn't even there (completely classless in an empty waiting room). I will never go back and wouldn't recommend anyone else put themselves through this, what a joke and inconvenience. By far the worst front desk staff I've ever encountered, paired with an empty waiting room, I can't imagine why. Find better, you deserve it. read more

AWFUL AND TERRIBLE PEOPLE. SO unorganized. I had an appointment for the last 2 month's and they call me today to say they don't take covered california. What a horrible thing to do to someone.. They are awful. Stay away! And the front desk person could care less - she blamed a coworker. read more

I had an entire pregnancy with Dr. Quinata, to preface this, and let me tell you ladies... do NOT follow through. Halfway through my pregnancy I tried switching to Dr. Todd or Tanya Nolan since I had them do appointments for me when Quinata canceled, and I was shocked at the care I was supposed to be receiving over the emotionless, lack of empathy, judgmental robot that I had for an OBGYN. Not only did I leave multiple appointments crying, she came into my post op room after giving birth at Rancho Springs and was there for 2 minutes and left. Actually that's how long all of our appointments lasted even before I had my baby. She tried to get in and out as fast as possible in the middle of me acting questions. She would invalidate my feelings when I would tell her I was opposed to certain things through my pregnancy which is insane. On the other hand this office is an absolute mess on coordination. I've had 5+ times of the office calling to reschedule. And you can never get someone to answer a phone to change an appointment yourself. It's embarrassing the lack of education these front desk workers have in general. Post partum they suddenly told me they didn't take my insurance and cancelled my birth control consultation even when they did care with me 2 weeks before. I had to call my insurance and sit on the phone with them in a 3 way to explain my care was in fact covered by my insurance and their head of scheduling or whoever denied multiple times, it was so sketchy and odd like they didn't want to do care with me. After 2 hours later of speaking to multiple people (and being hung up on), they finally got the info they needed to continue care for me. I should've switched as soon as post partum hit to get my birth control - but nonetheless Tanya is amazing, caring, and compassionate about women's health and I risked it just to see her. Unfortunately I will not continue care with her specifically because of how this OBGYN is run. Please, pregnant women especially, find another office before coming to this one. read more

Wish I could agree with all of these glowing reviews, but unfortunately I never had the pleasure of meeting the doctor. My first appointment I was scheduled as a new transfer patient since we were in the process of moving. I had to make arrangements for a sitter to watch my son, drove 1.5 hours to the Murrieta office only to find as I wrote my name down that Dr. Quinata would be unavailable to take me since she would be out of the office for the rest of the day. The girl that was helping me was incredibly indifferent, unapologetic and almost drone like asked me if I wanted to reschedule. I asked if there was anyone in the office that could help me since I had just rearranged my afternoon for the appointment- and she shook her head no and told me at that office the doctor was on call. So wait, you schedule a new patient at an office that they can potentially not see the doctor because they are on call? Makes zero sense. Stressed, emotional and hormonal I went home and waited for my next appointment, which was two weeks from my first one. Second appointment- I had anxiety because of what happened the first time. This time we were local since we had moved. I again had to make arrangements, block out my work schedule and missed the turn for the office. Got lost for 15 minutes, but finally arrived. The lady at the front very casually told me I'd have to reschedule because of the strict 30 minute policy. I told her I understood that, but I had gotten lost since we had just moved here and I was unfamiliar with the area. When she shook her head no, I broke down in tears (I'm sure partially hormonal and partially frustrated because I had just rescheduled my appointment). The lady told me she'd check with the doctor, especially when I told her about my first cancellation experience - and just as I suspected Dr. Quinata said she would be unable to take me. Overall it was a blessing in disguise because a doctor that doesn't leave room for compassion for her patients (new or existing) isn't a doctor for me. read more

Showed up at the Temecula app 30 minutes early, to be told our app was in Murrieta even though my text said Temecula. Prior to that, my app for my first appointment with my first baby was canceled twice by the doctor I chose, then was transferred to a male who saw me a month later. Wasn't seen until almost five months pregnant. I made a new appointment and as soon as I stepped out the door I had a phone call that said they are canceling my appointment because they don't have my insurance. I said just go on the insurance website and it's listed. She said that's not her job. I said ok, please do not cancel me, I will have it for you. They told me to call to reschedule. I left the office with my kids in a daze of confusion. The front desk women was very rude, condescending and unprofessional as she sends you out of the door. To give them the insurance info I have left voice mails for two months with no respond asking to please call me back. And nothing. I don't know where to begin but the least I can say is I don't recommend this office to anyone, especially if it's your first baby. I don't write reviews much but hope no other women has to have the crippling anxiety I would get when I knew I had to go to this office/doctor. There were minor things at first that I thought was mainly me being overly sensitive like the front desk being unwelcoming, telling/texting me the wrong location to go to for my appointment, and having me wait 45 minutes naked on a table for the doctor (who was different every time I went so I never knew who my OB was) to talk to me for 10 minutes - mainly about genetic testing that I didn't want. It then escalated when the office would tell me what my next appointment was and how to prepare for it, but then I would come in and instead of having an anatomy scan I had a Pap smear - with a doctor I've never met. This happened 3 times so I never knew what the hell I was going into. I did my blood work/urine culture in March and was told they would go over it with me multiple times to confirm gender and go over anything I had questions on, it wasn't until I transferred OBs (in May) that I found out I had an 2 infections that showed on my lab work from March and Platinum decided to not inform me on it. Overall I just expected a warmer, friendlier environment and I mainly got cold, short and like they only cared about money not the moms or babies. I hope if you do feel uncomfortable at this office or any OB you find a new one who makes you happy and feel safe! read more

Absolutely terrible service here from both Dr. Quintona & the receptionist name Paulette (I don't know if she's from the Temecula or Murrieta location) but she was so rude to me on the phone. She was cutting me off every second not letting me speak & voice my concerns. She gave me such attitude on the phone & my OB dropped me as a patient. They considered me high risk, my baby is completely healthy he has no issues like that. It's just me I have high prolactin levels. & she dropped me at 21 wks knowing I had this issue as early as 8wks into my pregnancy. She knew & chose to ignore. She even had me get ultrasounds w a high risk OB Dr. Brar & EVEN HE SAID my high prolactin levels don't affect or harm my baby & that'll I'll just get headaches. If she doesn't even listen to Dr. Brar I don't get why she sent me there. Point is DONT GO HERE. I read the bad reviews & ignored it & gave them benefit of the doubt but Dr. Quintona was terrible even in the visits she barely spoke super quiet & I felt like she start getting passive aggressive with me. Moved here recently and was referred to this place. Let me start by saying I have yet to have a successful appointment. First appointment scheduled was canceled because the DR. Was called into an emergency. I get it, it happens. Next appointment was rescheduled for 3 weeks out and in the Murrieta Location. I go to my appointment, number one nobody was there for 20 minutes when I first got there. They were at "lunch" okay why do you schedule people for times you know you aren't going to be there for. Then I got told oh your appointment was in the Temecula location. I got so frustrated at that point but was still understating. Now I'm sitting here on my 3rd attempt of an appointment and guess what. The lady at the front desks tells me. We can't see you know you had to be here 30 minutes before hand. And I explained to her that I called in when I was on my way there to make sure at what time I had to be there and they confirmed that I had to be there 20 minutes before hand and that's what I did. But she was so cold and just didn't care. This place is a joke and unprofessional. Learn how to run a business with a little bit more professionalism so people don't waste their time.
