When the job was finished and paid, I asked about drainage after a rain. He told me it would be fine. In the spring the following year, less than 6 months after I was assured it would drain properly, I had standing water in my yard. I called him and when he came out he said "you have standing water and I hope you don't think this is a warranty issue because it is not but for $500 I can put more dirt on it and level it out but that is not guaranteed either." So this year I hired a professional and they corrected the issue. I would not recommend All Around Landscaping.

The owner came out to provide a quote which went well, and I called to schedule a time for the service. During that call, I inquired about the time of day I should expect him to come by. He said sometime in the morning, but that he'd be in touch closer to the date of service to confirm. The day before our appointment, I received a voicemail in the evening while I was working, asking if a particular time worked for the following morning. When I called the owner back in the morning to inquire about adjusting the time slightly (less than an hour), he became extremely hostile. We have a narrow, 1-lane driveway and I was simply trying to adjust the time he'd arrive so he didn't have to move his vehicle/equipment for us when we left for work, daycare drop off, etc. His response? "No. That's stupid, why would you want me to come any later?" I explained our situation and that we simply wanted to be out of his way with all of the coming and going in the morning. He told me that it was ridiculous to "expect him to wait outside my house for 45 minutes" even though that was not at all what I was asking to do. I stated I was simply asking for the time to be pushed back so we'd be out of his hair. He told me that I should "just leave right now (6am) to go to work and take my sleeping infant to day care" if it was "really that big of a deal for me." Also, for what it's worth, my home is less than a minute from their "office." I told him I was no longer comfortable using his service and that I would be canceling. I work with contractors on a daily basis and I've never had one speak to me in the unprofessional manner he did. I would not recommend doing business with someone who speaks to clients/neighbors in this way.

Customer Service was very responsive, and the work performed was good, however the work was incomplete. I had left for the day for work, and when I returned home the front, side, and even a portion of my backyard was not weeded. For the price that I paid, and the clarity that I thought was given to the team, I expected the property in its entirety to be weeded and was disappointed to find it 80% complete. When I responded with my disappointment to Customer Service, I was told that they would speak to the team. I have not heard since and weeded the remainder of the property myself a few days after.

While they communicate politely through Yelp, the quality of their work is extremely poor and disorganized--even with a written contract. We recently hired Santanas Landscaping to completely transform our backyard, and I can honestly say…read morethat Daniel and his team exceeded every expectation we had. Our backyard started as a rough, outdated space with an old shed that had become a major eyesore, a lawn overrun with weeds, and a large amount of old concrete that needed to be removed. One of the biggest challenges was that all of the demolition debris had to be taken out through a very tight access point, but the crew handled it efficiently without any issues. From start to finish, Daniel and his team were organized, professional, and incredibly hardworking. They removed the shed, demolished and hauled away all of the old concrete, cleared the overgrown lawn, and completely transformed the space. The quality of the materials they used was excellent. They built a beautiful stone patio exactly the way we envisioned it, installed an elegant pathway accented with Mexican river rock, and created two separate areas--one for our pool and another with fresh sod for a small lawn. The finished project turned what was once an unusable backyard into a peaceful retreat where our family loves spending time. What impressed me most was the pride they took in their work. Every detail was carefully completed, and the craftsmanship really shows. Their pricing was fair, and after seeing the final result, I can confidently say the project was worth every penny. If you're looking for a landscaping company that is reliable, professional, fairly priced, and delivers outstanding results, I highly recommend Santanas Landscaping.
