Hired them months ago to do landscaping (tree trimming, weed removal, mulching, plant removal,…read moreedging, and weekly lawn mowing). He gave me a quote for $1600 and I approved the work. They started the work on a Tuesday. The first day 1 guy showed up and he did some of the edging and removed a small tree in front yard that left a hole in the yard. The 2nd day, Kyle promised that he and his team would be back the next morning at 9:00 am to finish. He didn't show up until 5:00pm and did about 30 min of work and left. He never returned. I sent text messages, made numerous phone calls, and he didn't respond. I hired Carl's Tree Service to finish what Kyle didn't finish and they did an excellent job. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Patrick has been very accessible (amazing in these pandemic times when a lot of the competition are short handed and not returning phone calls) and attentive to getting my new property in better shape (it sat vacant for a while and hadn't been tended too for a while so nature was a bit all over the place). I think he's on the higher end of the price equation vs. if you get each service (e.g., mow, lawn treatment, etc) from lowest cost provider, but then he makes sure everything gets done well and when committed to. These days with the no shows and labor shortages, that's worth a few extra nickels.

Patrick is reliable and his work ethic is second to none. I can always count on him to take care of my lawn when it needs cut. Patrick also makes the edging look very clean. Each year Patrick has worked on my lawn he has improved it's health. His prices are very good and always makes my yard look great! I could not be happier with the service Patrick at Lawn Care Plus provides.

WOW!! what's happened to TruGreen in the last 12 years?? We…read moreoriginally tried them in 2006 at our Highland Lakes home with DISASTROUS results. We experienced everything from constant/weekly 'hard-sell' calls regarding additional services; seemingly angry technicians speed-treating our 3/4 acre yard in a jog at 5 minutes flat!!; totally unwilling or unable to answer questions regarding our lawn they JUST treated; and the worst was, lawn didn't get better...it got WORSE!!! Cancelled them. Fast-forward 12 years to our new home in Galena...door-to-door salesman pitched services of the "new TruGreen". Truth be told, the ONLY reason I gave them a shot was because my yard was horrendous...AND he rang the doorbell WHILE I was purchasing a bag of fertilizer/weed killer from Home Depot online for $58.26. Once he guaranteed: 1) they could do my first treatment tomorrow (which they did!!) ... 2) it would only cost $29.95 (half of the bag I had in queue @ HomeDepot.com) ... 3) "if you decide you do not want to continue with TruGreen, you can cancel anytime...you can even cancel after tomorrow's $30 service...which is about half what you were gonna pay to do it yourself". True, worth a shot, I agreed. Fast forward to November: yard is GREEN!!! Bare spots filled in!! Customer Service has been splendid!! Every technician has proven very thorough, courteous, and more than willing to provide me with extensive 'grass knowledge' as well as detailed print-outs of all work. Again, have no idea what has happened within TruGreen since 2006; but this is NOT the same company I dealt with at our last home. (can't wait til Spring to see if my yard/TruGreen earns upgrade to 5 stars)

I've called to have them come out and spray again, which they said they did but 4 weeks later, the weeds are all still there. Someone came out and aerated my yard with no notification. I had kid's toys in my yard and my neighbor told me they just aerated around it. Had I known they were coming, I would have moved these things onto my patio. Then they got their machine stuck in wet grass in the back of my property and had to call someone to help get it unstuck. This left a big mud hold and ruts in my yards. Again, it was my neighbor who told me this. No one from TruGreen left me a note or contacted me to tell me what happened. In trying to resolve all of this, the communications continued to get worse and worse. No one, including the manager, seemd to know what was going on and I spent hours on the phone going over this same story multiple times. I just said forget it and canceled my service.
