My lawn care company recommended Dreamlawns for fertilization & weed control maintenance. I'm glad…read moreI decided to follow their advice. It had been a number of years since I had a similar service. The national brand company I had used for years wasn't responsive to my requests. They had become "spray quickly & leave", ignoring my standing instructions. Finally I cancelled because of poor service. I'm very glad to now have a local company that's responsive to my needs. Dreamlawns only services my front yard at my request. When the back was previously done it was an irritant for my dog's skin. There was much scratching following a treatment. I would much rather have healthy, happy dogs than beautiful grass in the backyard. The company always calls the day before service. They follow my instructions not to come the day of or the day before my regular Friday lawn care mowing. If their preferred day doesn't work for me it's easy to reschedule. Payment can be made in advance for the annual schedule of service. The cost is much less than the national company for better service. "Buy local" includes much more than just restaurants & shops. Dreamlawns has proven to me it also is beneficial with lawn treatment services.

Previously posted google review:…read more "Horrible communication and poor customer service. Will hurt your credit. Following up from a previous review, here are the details. Dreamlawn switched me from paper to paperless billing without my approval. I had been setup for automatic bill pay and my CC expired. Months later I received a letter from a collection agency regarding an unpaid debt. While annoyed, paying this was not a problem until I discovered an effect on my credit. Further frustrated, I gave them a 2 star review. This could have easily been solved with a phone call or bill. I sent Dreamlawn their payment and assumed we were done. Fast forward a month, I am still receiving letters from debt collectors even after the payment in full. Hence the 1star update." 2nd Update: 2 weeks later, still receiving debt collection notices from them after paying bill AND TALKING TO THEM ON THE PHONE.

Aspen Home Remodeling is a wonderful and highly ethical company. They follow up on their work to…read moremake sure everything is perfect. I found out about the company from a friend when I needed a new deck. One of the wood planks had developed a hole that continued to widen & lengthen. I called two companies for an estimate. One, who is well known for their quality work, basically told me what we would do including the layout. Noah, the owner of Aspen let me be an integral part of the design. I told him what I wanted and he let me choose materials & colors, making helpful suggestions. He also understood my need for a quick way to get the deck to a point where my dogs could get out back. He was the contractor I hired. The work of his crew was meticulous. Extra supports were put underneath the Trex planking I had chosen. They hand made the lattice covering around the bottom of the deck in the Chippendale style of my front porch. Everything turned out perfectly. The deck is larger than my old one. We added a second set of steps on the side of the deck where my spotlight provides more light at night when my dogs go out. There is even lighting on each step. Aspen replaced my front porch in the exact style of the old one that I loved. Previous contractors had told me the Chippendale style was no longer available. Noah's guys made it by hand, piece by piece. The next project was the bathrooms. It was so exciting to replace the 1985 one piece acrylic tub with a single tub and subway tile in my favorite color to the ceiling. All the bathrooms make me happy & are well worth my many steps upstairs & down with tile, paint & countertop samples to pick out my choices. After the holidays my windows came in. My house backs up a a short distance to the Chesapeake Bay. I loved the open feel the 1985 Andersons gave. But it got very cold and the hinges had rusted through from the corrosive air from the Bay, along with everything metal on the back side of the house. Noah & his supplier came together and were very attentive to my needs and taste. When the window estimate came it was perfect. And when the Pella windows came they were perfect. Noah's crew did the installation. Forty years of technology changes made the back side of my house so much warmer. The den windows now are open with blinds inside of the two panes. They make the room so much brighter. I'm sitting here now on a cold day with the blinds pulled up and I'm completely comfortable. They're beautiful, just what I wanted. Thank you Noah. Aspen's crew is wonderful and friendly. They do great work. Noah is really nice and so easy to work with. I have other projects and would consider no other contractor than Aspen Home Remodeling.

I could not believe how friendly, knowledgeable, and professional they were. I sat in my screened in porch just to see them in action. To say I was beyond impressed would be an understatement!!!! I called 8 different tree services in the area for my risky, large, dying Oak tree to be removed. Other quotes came in high or not at all, and wanted to take out my fence, ruin my landscaping, and/or drive up and down my yard with a tractor 50 times. Arbor Tree Care's price was extremely competitive, and the estimator gave me a good feeling about the company. I went ahead with the work and they did a phenomenal job. They literally touched nothing but the tree and were able to get it out with limited access (crane only). See the picture for reference on how tight the removal area was. The team showed up on time, left my yard as I would expect it, and were all nice guys. Not only would I use them again, I've already had a handful of people within the past 24 hours ask me about them to get their own work done.
