They play some good music which is calming. There is a separate area where they apply color and perms, which is nice because, as is often the case, while you wait to have your hair process, you don't have to move around. They have a lot of interesting and great smelling candles and products they sell, but there is not a huge push for those, they're there if you want to buy them. Rylie cuts and colors my hair, I've wanted to get bright colors for years and am very happy with the work she does with the color. I think they charge a reasonable amount for their services. They do offer you a beverage, which is a nice perk. And it seems like all the woman who work there are very nice and friendly. I'm so happy I found this salon!

The check in process was strange and I was told to wait (had an appointment). This guy was sitting there the whole time and after 15 mins he took me back. The whole entire pedi was strange. He did not say one word and would tap or grab my foot to move it. The supplies did not look sanitary and the clippers were in an older box. Additionally, this poor girl walked in the same time as me for her lashes and was finally taken back when I was done. She had an appointment and the one lady said she was running behind. When I paid the total was $40 before tip. For a basic pedi that wasn't done very well, I thought that was a lot. I get lots of pedi and this had to be the absolute worst one. Giving a 2 because I had a good experience in the past. Also my nails were barely filed and so not look good.

A one chair shop with Sarah making you feel dapper... As soon as I walked in, she treated me like she knew me and was so easy to talk to. You can tell that she loves to build relationships with her clients and make your haircut a fun time for you too. She has been cutting hair for over 14 years and honestly knew exactly what to do for my hair. She took time with every detail yet I was in and out of the chair quickly to start my day. I scheduled through Facebook with her and she immediately responded to my request.. even when I adjusted the appointment due to a change in plans.. the booking was flexible and simple. The haircut is great!! After cutting, she offered to wash my hair.. which is such a great service. Washing away the stray little hairs... plus there's something relaxing of someone shampooing your hair and scalp. Jumping back in the chair, she blowdried and consulted on styling. She added texture spray to help style it without the feel of a gel. With the added wash and style, I could head straight to work without needing to head home to shower after the haircut. I know... all of those services, the personal attention... you are thinking... how much did this cost? That's the best part... $25. A local shop, a wonderful person, and a great haircut! I love that they have online appointment setting (but you can also call as well). It is a small salon, so you need to book in advance rather than trying to walk in or get same day appointments. The nail area is small, but clean and beautifully decorated. There are two pedicure stations and two nail stations. The pedicures don't have those massaging chairs you see at mall salons but they don't need them. The great experience and service you receive more than makes up for a silly addition like that. There is a large variety of color options (including many with sparkle and some of the newest releases from OPI). One thing to note is that the nail salon is up a flight of stairs. I had an ultimate moisturizing pedicure with Erica. She was friendly and courteous but not overly chatty. The pedicure was extremely relaxing and she took time with each step. My feet were in pretty rough shape since it had been several months since my last pedicure and she made them look and feel fabulous.
