I've been coming here for a pedicure and nail fill for about 2 years. It's a lovely salon that provides all your nail and skin care needs. I left out a star because sometimes the atmosphere isn't very spa-like. On busy days the background music is not relaxing, babies scream, and all 4 TVs are set to nothing but sports. If I'm going to watch something, give me HGTV, the Food Network, or Game Show. The 4 stars are for my nail tech, Betty, who is the best. Her pedicure is always relaxing and feels like I'm being super pampered. Her color suggestions never fails to make me feel special. It took me 6 months of going to different nail salons to find Betty at Lavish Lounge. Ps - Being an naturalized American myself, and having Portuguese as my first language, I enjoy listening to other languages. I went in two days ago and had my nails done the lady that did my nails does not have any type of idea how to do hombre which she figured it out, but left my nails so thin that they've broken I went in today to have it fixed. They told me they couldn't find the charge on my card which I showed them on my bank transactions then they said they couldn't fix my nails because a manager wasn't there when all they had to do was make right on what they've messed up. After 7 attempts to find a forever nail tech, I realize my search is not over. There are nail salons ALL over Tulsa. To stand out as a customer satisfaction specialist shouldn't be hard. My first visit, midway through my pedicure, a beautiful woman entered. She was an owner. She was so beautiful, classy and friendly. She spoke to me about her establishments and her ideas. I was so impressed with her drive, her enthusiasm and for her sharing the up and coming changes that are sure to separate them from the other nail salons. There are 32 employees and plenty of tables and new chairs. I will avoid mentioning names so not to be rude. Tech 1: (second visits/first manicure at this location) I mentioned several times during the appointment my disappointment. The length, the thickness and the color! All wrong. My daughter next to me receiving the same request, as requested, was giving grace to who was doing my nails, assuming a language barrier. I TOTALLY disagreed. Paid and we left. Two days later I returned. I was told to have Tech 2. This nail tech was apologetic to the obvious poor attempt of the set of nails she was "soaking off" ( which actually does nothing to remove the product!!!!). They were so thick on the tips. She removed them. Again, full price charge. Not even 4 days pass and the nails are popping off. I was due for a pedicure anyway. The pedicure and manicure cost was so unbelievable. The man back filled and applied a color. I requested a French but nope! $250. Not one person cares to realize, just because I can afford it does not mean I will continue to pay for their poor service. A good company wants to see to the people who pay their bills. Not to take and take by over charging a really great customer!! I never go alone to a salon. A minimum of 4 times per month. I would love to believe it is a language barrier. It's not. The owner's husband and another older man simply avoid talking and point to a chair. After the service, I was told a price without a care to listen. Terrible customer service. My last experience has me looking at thick nails on my toes and a crooked French pedicure to match. My manicure is not the French style and one nail that had to be replaced broke a week ago. I guess if they can get by with over charges: $15 to take off nails, $15 for cat eyes and French tips. $50 to back fill and $70-$90 for the manicure blows my mind. The pedicures my daughter and I had....same request.....totally different experiences!!!! Shortened times. Did I mention I was a licensed nail technician. I see it. Today I went to Lavish Nails for the first, and last, time. The gentleman who did my nails, Thomas, did such a terrible job! It took him a solid TWO HOURS! It seemed to me that he may have been learning still how to do nails? I couldn't' figure it out. The language barrier didn't help at all. Usually my nail tech can understand some English, but he did not seem to be able to. Other techs had to come and interpret for him. He filed my nails down so much it hurt, and he seemed to not get it right, even after TWO hours. Finally, I had to say I had to leave- it was taking forever. So after I left, I could get a good look at what he actually did to my nails and I was so disappointed. I paid $65.00 for what looks like a preschooler did my nails. I can't get them redone immediately because he took off so much of my nail that I'm afraid to let anyone near them with a drill again for at least a couple weeks. I sat there with this guy and watched customers come in, get a pedicure and nails done and leave well before Thomas was even close to being finished with my nails. I went to get a pedicure today and it sucked. Man rushed through my pedicure, while my friend was getting her same pedicure done next to me. I had old gel polish on my nails and my friend didnt and some how he finished 10 minutes before hers. They reused everything. The toe separaters . During him rubbing lotion on me there was a random long black hair on my leg and bro proceeded to keep rubbing it in. I was gagging. Im blonde by the way. Finally when it was all over and it came to paying, im not playing this man no joke hovered over the card reader watching me put a tip in. Beautiful nails but I did have a few problems, first when she was drilling my nail she went into my nail bed which hurt, then she messed up the application on my index finger which led the acrylic to crack later on. This place is really hit or miss depending on which nail tech you get. read more

pedicure with Gel They do not use sterile tools. The cheese grater is rinsed out in your own foot bath and thrown under a plastic container on their cart! The tool used to remove old Gel polish is used for everyone and in this case kept in an Altoids tin on the cart. I was bleeding from 4 toes within 10 minutes of sitting down. The water was ice cold. The guy said he couldn't change it because of the plastic he put in the foot bowl. He said "it ok". For the life of me I don't know why I didn't get up and walk out. I was scared in so many ways. Iv been at this nail salon 4 times now, I just recently started going back to get my nails done, and thought they were the place to go. Each time I came back it was $10.00 more. It went from 35.00 to 60.00 for the exact same thing. This last time the lady that did my nails took off or should I say ripped off my acrylic nails instead of soaking them, I didn't say anything just letting her know it hurt. I tried this place for the first time today as a walk-in. I had a full set of pink & white nails done. I thought the place was beautiful, clean, and loved my nails. I recommended it to my family and went online to see if I could find a photo to send them. I was stunned to see all of the bad reviews posted. Hopefully they just had a bad nail tech or more that are gone now. Recommendations I would have is that they choose different music (was very unique and not something I think a lot of people would like), and they had an employee sitting near me without a client who was watching a show on her phone with no headphones and it was loud, so that was irritating and took away from the vibe. I get that there is downtime when you staff to help walk-ins, but they should wear headphones. I noticed they are open every day of the week which is really convenient. They move too fast and hurt you. Went in today for basic mani pedi. Salt scrub and wax were fine but extremely rushed. But when he started buffing he went way too fast and cut my toe/cuticle with the sharp buffer edge. Extremely, extremely painful. (It still hurts 20m later.) He kept smiling and apologizing, but the smile didn't help the pain. I had to ask for antiseptic even though it was an obvious cut. Then I had to ask for alcohol to clean it more. Several people came over and kept telling me "it's ok, it won't get infected, it's fine." They kind of acted like I was unreasonable when I asked if I could just leave (I needed to get to antibiotic ointment and a bandaid.) she again told me it was fine because it wasn't bleeding anymore (???) even though it was very red. I finally was able to get out of the chair and, while I did offer to pay for the work they'd completed, they did not charge me. This is the second time I've been cut there (have been there 3 times), and I wont return. read more

My daughter had severe burns from the technician. The first night I thought it was just red but the next morning realized it was severely burnt. We went to the doctor, she was prescribed burn cream. I called and informed them that something went wrong and asked that they refund my card for what I spent. They offered no apology or the refund. I also had dip powder done on my nails. They look like a bubble. The overall attitude of the technician was pushy rude and not polite. read more

This place is horrible. I can't believe they are so busy. They rushed me through my pedicure and the whole time trying to pry off my old nails to finally soak them off after hurting me and then put my tips on crooked. He tried to fix one with hell and a light because it would not bond then lumped on the PINK acrylic (didn't even ask me) then when I showed him a picture of what I wanted handed me his version of numerous samples that wasn't even close. He started to file vigorously and asked if I liked when I told him no it was crooked he just filed it down to the nub of my nail. I asked him not to paint them. He charged me $90 for my pedicure and my unpainted set that I will now have to pay to have them fixed and some taken off and replaced. So upset. Please do not go here. read more

The WORST pedicure I've ever had. Didn't use cuticle oil, just drilled off my cuticles and cut my big toe. Massage consisted of him rubbing the front of my shins with oil, never put on lotion. I have been here two times for a pedicure, this place is very clean and quiet and relaxing. The owners come around and greet you and introduce themselves. So pleasant. The pedicure was great , not rushed but not to long. Chairs are comfy with great massage, they have really cute chairs to bring little ones to experience a pedicure. Me and a coworker our loyal customers of lavish nails. They were finishing up the part of our nails and the boss lady started talking all loud getting on to the two employees that were doing our nails. One we had a an appointment so don't rush them we pay good money to have our nails done and last. We couldn't understand what she was saying, but we know body language in the tone in her voice we didn't have to know the words coming out of her mouth. Everyone in the place looking and staring at us. When you need to discipline an employee, you take them to the back and you do that private you don't do that in front of coworkers and customers. That not only embarrasses them but that embarrassed us and like I said, we are regulars there and have been for probably a year or a little more like loyal customers every two weeks. read more

Really a waste of your money. I gave them three chances. Different techs, different colors, and the same result...shellac (gel) was cracking and peeling off same day or in 24 hours. Then I went to Mexico and had a beautiful $10 shellac manicure. Three weeks later it's still decent. During my nail appt in MX, I told her they have started peeling off. (That I thought is was something in my body making my nail bed oily.) She said, No way! They are putting it on too thick or have old product or both. She said thin layers is the key. This is not the only time I haven't been pleased. I went in for a fill in with gel - no tips, although prior appointment I had tips and three broke off. Well when I went in for a fill in, he didn't add any tips to my nails broken off, & cut the rest of my nails super short to the skin. My thumbs are two different lengths (I look like I have a toe thumb, you can compare the two photos)... i was charged 50$ which I believe was way too much for a fill in, that's basically what I got charged the first time!
