Buck built a fence using what appears to be the lowest quality lumber available. Boards were not…read moreevenly spaced and some were installed at slight angles. Several of the boards split when they were nailed in place, which looks terrible and is unacceptable. The gate was never completed and is missing end boards. The top of the gate has cuts from a saw almost halfway through the board and was just left as is. The gate does not line up with the end post so it doesn't close properly. There were many other problems with this project but that is enough to illustrate the poor quality of his work. His craftsmanship was so poor and his ability to communicate was even worse. Numerous very polite requests were made of him to help with finishing the fence. He made numerous commitments on different days but never showed. He always had an excuse. Ultimately, he just ignored all communications. I strongly recommend using a different contractor. The quality of his work is poor and he is unreliable.

They were responsive to my request, provided a quote, and came out the next morning to complete the work. Tommy was prompt to arrive, assessed and confirmed the situation, and explained to me what was happening each step of the way. He's a man that is proud of his craft and trade, and does things right. Even though it wasn't included in the quote, he helped me paint the replacement vent covers. He called out some other things I would have never noticed, and helped me clean out my dryer duct, which was clogged with a birds nest and about a pound of lint! This is a very important thing to check, as a clogged dryer vent is a common cause of house fires! Hiring contractors will always cost money, and often times, people get consumed by cost. Well, people's time and their service cost money. Maybe you could save a few bucks here or there, but will the work be done right? Is the contractor rushing through your job to get to the next? Value isn't just a dollar figure; it's a function of a cocktail of things important to you. For me, that would be saving time, getting things done right, and relieving me of potential life threatening injuries. I can tell you that Tommy and Alpha Precision will take the time to do things right, so that you won't need to pay again later. They also come when they say they will, and climb the ladder to do the work (that saved me a trip to the emergency room). My husband literally SAW the assistant with the ladder IN the tub and told him, 'I don't think that's a good idea.' The guy obviously continued to do it and as a result cracked the tub. Tom just left here after blaming the crack on the BUILDER (from 15 YEARS AGO) bc according to him they didn't insulate it enough so it's not his fault the tub was damaged by his ladder bc the ORIGINAL BUILDERS didn't install a tub that can withstand his stupidity. Tom is refusing to make this right, still hasn't completed to satisfaction the bathroom paint and patch job and how have left us back at square one and $700 in the hole PLUS the cost of a new tub and install smh. Our daughter just had her room redesigned as a gift for entering middle school and she can't even use her shower or bath. Smh. Super unprofessional. Very disappointing. Now we have to file a lawsuit in small claims court to recover the costs and attorneys fees. What SHOULD have been a simple in and out job has turned into a costly headache for our family.
