I should have known better when they said walk-ins available and I was seated in a hair salon chair, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Because, what do I know, I'm from out of town ‍ First step, wash eyelashes, they didn't do that. Next kicker, she taped my eyelids open. I told her, don't you think my eyes should be closed. No, no, she said. Okay, whatever. I let her do her thing. I was so nervous about the outcome. BOY, did I get smacked in the face with a doozy! They're stiff, they don't look natural and all the lashes were mixed sizes! I'm like why are they all over the place sizes. She said because we didn't have the in between number. I was like, you should've told me and I would have told you to leave them all the same size, UGH! Then they were like, we'll trim them a little. Oh, god! Made it worse. I was like stop. Just stop! He saw it on the counter and started questioning why there was nothing checked on the back. I told him to call the girl up to the front and he did when she arrived the lady up there with him (maybe the manager told him we had been in before) and she said he was right in what he did since he didn't know we were in earlier. He had to know something if he kept saying, didn't y'all have eyebrows done? I had just walked in to pay for my mom's services so he didn't see me get services earlier or did he? Why would he have said that unless he had some prior knowledge. He took what should have been a happy experience from me to my mom and made it just the opposite (Ulta). I am in Mobile on vacation and was looking for a nail salon. I came across this one on Yelp. I was…read morea bit skeptical by the mixed reviews. I called and they were about to close but the owner allowed me to come in the next morning an hour prior to them opening, which was amazing. Upon arrival, the place was spacious and very clean. My tech was cleaning the pedicure chair I was going to be using. His name was Si. He wore gloves and masks the whole time. I was able to get my pedi and gel mani in the same chair, thus not having to move around while the place got busier. Si was pleasant, knowledgeable, and did an amazing job. He took his time and did not rush the process even though the place was getting busier. I am extremely happy with the service. For services they have a menu and you can choose your experience. So, the price level is up to what you want. I would go back to Si at this location and this review reflects only his service and what I saw as far as cleanliness and space of the place.
