Yes we like it so much that we visited 2 days in a row! Letchworth was my birthplace and where I…read moregrew up until I went to University in 1967!! Letchworth was founded by Ebenezer Howard in 1906, and being a Quaker he forbade alcohol and pubs etc within the city limits. That is not common for Brits - who love their beers and gin and tonics!! So the growth of pubs and licensed premises in the last decade or two has been "refreshing"!! Both Mrs G and I loved this place! On day 1 Mrs G went for a burger which she liked very much indeed, while I opted for the full English breakfast which was excellent! We both had juices (no booze!!) while on day 2 we both took the buttermilk pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Rare in England and delicious. Service was outstanding, warm and friendly. The whole ambience was wonderful - families, friends, mums and babies groups. Bright, airy, spacious and in the warm weather a beautiful indoor/outdoor experience. Yes of course we will be back next time that we are in Letchworth again!!

Exceptional customer service, a very thoughtful gesture and presented with a smile and a very professional and accommodating attitude. I will always recommend Cultivo Lounge for a casual meal or drinks, any time of day. Thanks Lizzy and Josh. See you again next time.

I had visitors this week and they wanted to explore the old town…read more Around 5pm we got thirsty and popped in here. The place looks very old and we got chatting to locals outside, on the picnic style, benches at the front who told us it was once 3 cottages and the huge house across the road, just visible behind the church, was a farm house. The benches are a nice place to sit in the sun and the customers are very friendly. We were soon chatting away and got bought a drink. One of their dogs adopted me and went to sleep on me. (I am not great with dogs..I am sure they know). Inside 2 bars and a small pretty back courtyard but everyone seems to prefer being out the front watching the world go by. The staff are friendly and polite. Huge inglenook fireplace and wide beams..it is rather pretty. Good range of ales and beers and Bulmers pear cider. Loses a star for being slightly more expensive than other pubs in the area but enjoyable non the less. On the way home an hour and a half later we met RDC coming to see where we were and we ended up going back there. The crowd had changed to older people. Pleasant evening. They do food but can't comment on it.

And the food has never been disappointing, but the portion size are huge and for a person with a poor appetite I always struggle to finish. Have loved all the dishes I have eaten so far at C2C. It has been almost 6 months since our last visit to C2C and I realised the menu has changed and it is quite appealing. We ordered the BBQ platter, and after being served we realised it was meant to be a sharing platter for 4 and not for 2...it was BIG. The platter comprised of chicken tender (my all time fav, missed the blue cheese dip they used to serve with it), succulent hand cut ribs (my sister loved them), American loaded bacon & cheese and cheese & chives skins, BBQ chicken wings (it was really good) and finally tortilla chips topped with salsa and homemade chilli cheese sauce. We struggled finishing half of the platter but the Millionaires waffle looked so good that we choose to order one and share it. It was like cherry on top of the icing. Warm fresh waffles with salted caramel & chocolate sauce and ice-cream topped with honeycomb balls. I have always ordered chocolate brownie with chocolate sauce and honeycomb ice-cream (one of the staff member insisted I tried the honeycomb ice-cream, glad she did) and it is my favourite dessert at C2C. Now I have two favourites.

Most of the staff seemed disorganised, we had four different waiters. They kept us waiting for fifteen minutes before we could to order dessert! Background music was the best part.
