If you are a man and work out (or use your muscles for anything), you should schedule an appointment. Alainna has a tremendous understanding of the human body and uses that knowledge to relieve tension. She has helped me loosen up tight muscles, which in turns helps me perform better at pretty much everything I do. If you are looking for a deep tissue, therapeutic type massage, you can stop your search. Alainna is the last person you will need to 'try'. She is great!! Follow up.... I took my daughter to see Alainna. She dances at CPYB, and was looking for supplemental work to aide with her ballet. Alainna was great with her (it was her first massage). We are looking forward to the impact in her dancing!!

Okay, I have been a patron of Mending Roots since March, and as of today I have had a massage and…read moreinteracted with every person who works there. Each massage I've had has been unique and completely what I needed at that time. The massage therapists there really work off intuition and you're not going to get the same session from each practitioner. One of the therapists is also a nutritionist with an holistic approach and another is also a life coach! Lovely, lovely experience each visit. I've also taken a yoga class there from Zoe. She does free yoga once a month so I felt like it was a really good opportunity to get in and try out the space. There are other instructors there (and please forgive me, I'm a little ignorant when it comes to types/styles of yoga) who teach/guide classes where you memorize the flow and they are there to assist you further into a pose or help you get into a handstand, whatever. I have ONLY OBSERVED these classes, I am not that advanced yet. When Bobbi Misti comes back in May 2018, I may try to take on the class! They also have a great gift/salve/tincture/essential oil boutique. I seriously think this is a hidden gem for gift shopping. I think everything they have is locally made, so that's pretty cool that they're supporting other local businesses in their business. IN CLOSING.....I highly recommend the ladies and gentleman who provide classes and services here. It truly is a loving, safe space and it's a little escape every time I go in there.

The sound of soft beach waves sooth, the table is kept at a comfortable temperature with care taken to ensure privacy with the use of clean sheets and a blanket. You'd be hard pressed to find a better massage therapist. Tom has experience with the hot stone massage, cupping, qua sha (probably spelled that wrong,) deep tissue, percussion gun, and a variety of stretches. Tom is also super friendly and does well to give you the type of massage you seek. When you walk in there will be Tom at the desk to meet you with a smile and then you'll step into the room for the massage after a check-in. He offers you a bottle of water after every massage, and his prices are very reasonable. He also offers package deals with discounts as well as holiday, birthday and referral specials.

The massage was so relaxing that I wished I could have just stayed there on the table for an hour's nap! Since he runs this from a converted house in Camp Hill, there is some background neighborhood noise, but not much. The relaxing, quiet "spa music" covers up most of it. For my ADD-self I'd have preferred a white noise machine running to cover up all outside noises but that's only a minor preference. The table was very comfortable and I never felt self-conscious.

Best massage ever! My therapist really took special care in attending to what my body needed…read more Pleasant, professional and capable. I will be back indeed. I would have given this review five stars but only four due to the "hour massage" only being 50 minutes. I asked why my one hour massage was short by ten minutes. The reply was that they count the time you use to get undressed and dressed as your appointment time.

I am disappointed with how my membership cancellation and outstanding services have been handled…read more On two separate occasions while I was an active member, my scheduled services were cancelled at the last minute--after I had already arrived at the spa. Being informed of a cancellation while I was already there was both inconvenient and unprofessional. When I cancelled my membership in May, I was told that I would have 90 days to use my remaining services, which I understood to include two services due to the billing cycle. Two days ago, I called to schedule those services and was told there was nothing noted on my account and that management would contact me. I never received a return call. When I called again today, management informed me that the contract actually allows only 60 days after cancellation and that my services expired on the 9th. Ironically, that was essentially the same time frame in which I had already reached out to schedule them. Had someone returned my call as promised, this situation may have been resolved before the deadline. The manager also informed me that I still have unused gift cards purchased in November that I can use toward services. While I appreciate that those gift cards remain available, they are entirely separate from the membership services I had already paid for and should not be presented as a substitute for the services that were still owed. Overall, I find this experience to reflect poor communication, inconsistent information, and subpar customer service. Between the last-minute cancellations, the failure to return my call, and the conflicting information regarding the cancellation policy, I have been left with very little confidence in how customers are treated.
