I am the luckiest person on the planet to have met Fred! I was visiting Montreal from out of the…read morecountry and had rented a minivan from the airport. A couple of days before flying out, I sideswiped a hinged barrier on the highway, creating a superficial yet long (5+ meters) scrape from fender to fender on the rental van. Knowing that returning the van with that scrape would be an ongoing insurance nightmare, I took a chance and blindly called Fred, finding his number on iPhone maps. I explained my dilemma, and he immediately put my mind at ease. He took in the van the next day and worked on it while I walked to coffee at the neighboring mall. Less than 2 hours later, he called saying to come back. To my amazement, he'd completely buffed out the scrape and the van was absolutely pristine inside and out. What's more, the price he charged me was unbelievably reasonable. The icing on the cake is that Fred is an absolute gentleman. If I lived in Montreal, I would bring my car there all the time, not only because he provides such a good service but to get to see Fred!

Sure it looks OK, but did they touch up the stone chips? How about removing that bit of tar on the drivers door that's been there for three years? Nope... Joey does detailing the right way. You can get budgetary pricing from his website, but he actually inspects your vehicle before providing a quote. Every chip and scratch catches his attention and he tells you exactly what he needs to do to fix it properly. On top of that, he's not trying to up sell his services once you visit. In my case, I needed an intermediate detail and he actually recommended to NOT get the advanced treatment because the pearl white paint wouldn't benefit from the extra steps. How cool is that? I have been going to Performance Car wash the last 2-3 years. Yes, the building and premises are…read morenot first class 5 star accommodations but I don't keep coming back to sit in a pretty waiting room or fancy washrooms. I keep coming back because of the high detail of wash they put in my car. I have a high performance car that I only let them clean the outside of. The outside is done right for what they charge. My multi spoke mag wheels are spotless without trace of brake dust. Let me tell you I know the work that goes into getting them that way because I have done it myself. I have gone to other car hand car washes that always leave a bit of brake dust uncleaned in a small spoke corner but these gentleman at Performance get it right every time. The go so far as to clean out my exhaust tips that are covered with carbon soot and I never have to ask. Why is this a nice touch? I have a stainless steel performance quad exhaust and only 3 of the 4 get soot on their tips. I leave this car wash every time with a sparkling exhaust system tips. I won't say they are perfect. They do not blow compressed air on the seams and and mirrors of the car so you get some after wash dribble when you leave but a quick rag wipe once I get home does the job. The price they charge for an outside wash is extremely reasonable compare to the competition in the local area. I can't comment on any interior cleaning or extra detailing because I prefer to do these things myself. Keep in mind these guys work hard and a tip goes a long way and they are very thankful and it will serve you well when you come back as they have very good memories of cheap asses.
