This location is wonderful. Friendly staff made drop off easy. I dropped off 5 days worth of clothes for 3 people and paid 30 euros. It was a great value compared to the cost at our hotel. This place was not listed on Yelp and was very close to our hotel and many other hotels. The Bangladesh owner speaks good English and was friendly. Pros: self service and drop off service cost the same. Small, Medium, Large machines. Clothes smelled great when I picked up. Not one item was missing. No coins needed. You pay attendant. Cons: prices are not posted anywhere so he makes up the prices. We were charged €20 to wash and dry one large load. Jean pockets were a tad damp. Our load included: Men's XL: 3 pair of jeans, 1 lined flannel, 1 flannel shirt, 4 t-shirts, 3 boxer briefs, 4 pair of socks, 1 hooded sweatshirt, 1 tank top Women's Small: winter pajamas top & pants, sweater dress & leggings, 4 pair of socks, 1 sports bra, camisole, gloves, 3 panties, 1 tank top We loaded the washing machine, he added the soap. We came back 1.5 hours later and our clothes was dried and folded into a large heavy duty bag. It smelled great too, even my son's stinky socks. Need to laundry when in Rome? Yes! Do it! This place is so friendly. You can drop off your laundry and pick it up the same day or whenever. They open at 8AM-8:30PM. It is close by to my hotel, so it was perfect. I tried going to many laundry places, but they all denied us. My boyfriend and I dropped our clothes of 3 days worth for 15 euros. It seems expensive compared to doing your own laundry, but I think it is so worth it if you are traveling and you can't do the laundry yourself. They ask us if our clothes were colored or black, we said both. They also fold your laundry for you! We dropped off our laundry around 10:30AM and it was finish by 3:00PM. read more

I was in need of a laundry service on my trip and did not want to pay a ton at the hotel to have my clothes washed. This please was not too far from my hotel and they washed & dried 4 pairs of jeans, 1 jean short, at least 5 shirts, 2 dresses, and 2 pairs of socks. I paid 15€. They did a great job and laundry was complete in 1.5 hours. We had 1 large load for drop off service. Would have been 5 stars, but they only accept cash. Many tourists (like us) bring credit cards only and limited cash. read more

2 stars instead of 1 because it may have been an honest mistake. On vacation and came here to have our laundry done halfway through the trip. Told them fragrance free, employee had us smell the bottle, smelled like nothing - perfect. Got the load back and it smelled like the strongest and worst soap I've ever smelled x 10. This is a smell that will stain everything it touches, I had to throw the whole bag of clothes away. I was sneezing for the rest of the day and had a rash where the soap touched. Wasted the rest of our day buying new clothes for the trip. $200 of clothes wasted plus the $15 cost of service and half of a vacation day. If you dont mind STRONG fragerence than you will be fine here. read more

Great place to have your laundry done if you are staying close to Termini station. Even open on a Sunday afternoon! Owner was friendly and speaks perfect English, we were worried about clothing shrinkage so asked him to wash everything on cold and low heat to dry, he said no problem. Cost was €15 for 13 women's cotton T shirts and 5 pairs of leggings. We dropped off around 1pm and he said they would be ready by 4pm, and it was! Clothes were clean,dry, folded and looked good, no shrinkage. He puts everything in a bag for you to carry out. He asks for cash payment upfront, so come with cash. Was on time. Just drop off your dirty laundry, and pick them up at a later time. Spent 7 - 8 euros for a small load. Good when traveling. The only thing was all my laundry detergent was gone, perhaps it was used for other laundries. They do offer free detergent, but bring a smaller portion if you'll be using yours. Service was friendly and I recommend it. Sometimes there is an open market on the street, if you want to browse while there. read more

Great drop off for travelers. Only 10 euros and only one hour. Everything smelled fresh and was neatly folded. We had 6 pair of undies and socks, 2 sets of gym clothes, and 2 sets of pjs plus a cream sweater....everything was tossed in together before we left. Like boom, see you in an hour. He even washed our laundry bag with it. If you need a quick wash and don't want to do it yourself this is the perfect spot. read more

The actual cleaning service was ok, if you don't count the fact that I was given some items back damp. One of the people, perhaps the owner was very rude and unwelcoming. I decided to have them wash, then fold my own clothes. An employee watched behind my back as I folded. It was very creepy and rude. Then I kept hearing 3 of them speak. I couldn't understand the language, but they kept saying "customer". I knew this wasn't a good thing since they didn't make any effort to be friendly or welcoming to me at all. We were so glad to find this place! It was close to our hotel (Windrose Hotel) and they were able to have it ready the same day. That was really important for us, since we were heading to Athens the next morning. They didn't quite have it ready by 8pm, which was the time they quoted. However, the clothes were dry, just needed to be folded. They didn't fold them the way I expected, but it was fine, since we just needed them cleaned to pack for the next leg of our trip. So grateful for this service, as we didn't have to spend our time, in Rome, doing laundry! It was worth the 14-15 euros. read more

We took our laundry here with a "well, let's see what happens" mentality. We usually wash clothes our clothes with cold water and most are tumble dry only. When we arrived, every washing machine in this place was going and there was a gentleman in uniform picking up his laundry, complete with some delicate items, that helped ease my mind a little bit. The owner (assuming he is the owner?) greeted us immediately and took our laundry. I asked if it was possible to wash with cold water and dry on tumble dry. He said yes to both and asked my name, told me €30 for our two hotel laundry bags of clothes and they would be done in 90 minutes. We left and had two bottles of rosé at a nearby restaurant to ease my nerves and when we returned to pick our laundry up, he handed me two of the freshest smelling bags of clothes! Both bags were full of neatly folded clothes that were both warm out of the dryer and smelled awesome, but I was still hesitant that items shrunk. Got back to our hotel and tried stuff on, everything still fits! Did he actually wash on cold and tumble dry? I have no idea but everything still fits and I was very pleased to use this drop-off service! read more

Dropped off clothes about 2pm and told 1 hour 30 minutes. Had a coffee and snack at Julie's next door who don't close in afternoon like other cafes/restaurants. Good and efficient service with clothes dry and smelling nice. A shopping bag cost €10. They only take cash. read more

Awesome place so convenient for drop off laundry. Right by the train station my hotel wanted over €80 for my small bag of laundry. Final leg of 2.5wk European vacation in hotter than Hades temps meant we needed fresh and clean clothes. Thanks to the Yelp reviews of our fellow Californians ;o) we decided to check Lav@sciuga out. We couldn't find info on hours of operation or pricing (which other reviewers had stated), but decided to stuff our carry on with three hotel laundry bags and make the 15min trek from our hotel. So glad they were open (and very busy). Attendant was very pleasant. Our bags- 2 darks and 1 lights consisted of: men's: 7 briefs, 5 pr socks, 5 t-shirts, 2 polo shirts, 2 shorts; young men's- 5 briefs, 3pr socks, 4 t-shirts, 2 shorts; women's- 8 underwear, 8 bras, 5 shirts, 1 pr jeans, young women's- 4 shirts, 5 underwear, 4 bras. We left the clothes and the carry on and 4 hours later our clothes were washed, dried and neatly bagged. Here's the best part 30Euro!!!! Tips: transporting clothes in carry on or duffle, if your order won't take long enjoy lunch at the cafe next door while you wait. This was our second successful laundry service.
