On our trip to Bordeaux, we came here on the recommendation from one of the hotel staff. The menu is chef's choice with an option of a two, three, or four course selection centered around a meat or fish protein. If you have allergies to anything, you need to advise the staff ahead of ordering. The place is casual and appears to cater to the tourists, but it does appear that locals frequent the place as well. Overall I guess it depends on what you get but my wife and I thought that the dishes lacked seasoning and the lamb we had was a bit chewy even when cooked properly. Also I didn't care for the sauce as I'm not a fan of ginger in my food. The dessert had anise which apparently is a popular spice in French cuisine but some I'm not a fan of licorice flavors, I didn't care too much for the dish. read more
