It is hard to put in words the gift that Laurel has given us with our wedding video. She captured the essence of the day and I was able to look back on things I didn't even notice. When showing the video to our family, my moms exact words were, "she is magic." I also never realized what a huge impact on the day your videographer and photographer have. They are with you during all of these special and intimate moments and I cant think of a better person to have by our side. If you are considering making the investment on a videographer, this was one of the best decisions we made while wedding planning. Her work speaks for itself and I truly think Laurel is the best in the business. Thank you, Laurel! read more

Booking Laurel as our wedding videographer was the BEST decision ever!! My wedding was in Seattle and paying extra to have her travel to our wedding was beyond worth it. She was amazing with communicating and making sure we felt confident about the day running smoothly. On the day of our event she just quietly went around, capturing the most tender moments. While she was working on edits she was sure to continue communicating, keeping us involved every step of the way. The actual footage exceeded our wildest expectations!! I have watched it at least 100 times, and it still floors me. Every shot was intentional and beautiful. Laurel is an absolute artistic genius and I am so grateful to have a beautiful wedding video to cherish for a lifetime. read more

Words don't really describe the feeling I get every time I watch the beautiful videos that Laurel has created for us. I feel somewhat connected to her as she and I had personal convos leading up to my wedding day, and then of course, she was part of one of the most intimate days of my life. From the Highlight video to the Doc video, she captured moments that I will now never forget. I will be able to share these memories with my family for a lifetime and I am so grateful. Her work is amazing and her eye for sentiment even better. I wanted a videographer since the start, but my fiancé wasn't sold. It wasn't until Covid came and changed our entire wedding plans (from a 150 person wedding to 21 immediate family members), that we decided a videographer was needed to capture our day so we could share it with our friends and family at our reception next year. Laurel came through for us at the last minute and I can't thank her enough! I have probably watched our videos 50 times and its been less than 2 weeks since I got them. I can't wait to share them with everyone next year!!!! Thank you Laurel read more

We used Laurel for our July 2021 and she exceeded all our expectations. She was so easy to work and stay in touch with, and willing to go with the flow with our ever changing timeline and stay as long as we needed to capture all the special moments we wanted... and boy did she capture every single one. Her eye for detail is out of this world, and her ability to time every scene perfectly to music was incredible. I remember looking over during the morning of our wedding day and seeing Laurel smiling ear to ear filming details, I don't think that smile left her face the rest of the day. The amount of compliments we've received on our wedding video is a testament to how amazing Laurel is. I truly couldn't imagine having anyone else capture our big day. If you're on the fence about videography, I promise you you won't have a single regret hiring Laurel! read more

Laurel is the BEST, and 100000% recommend. First and foremost, Laurel is just a great person to be around. We were so comfortable with her from our initial meeting through the wedding day. And while we loved her company, Laurel does an amazing job blending in with the event - it didn't feel like we had a camera on us at all times. She's also super flexible, and was willing to wake up before sunrise to film an intimate ceremony prior to the wedding day. And the finished product... incredible. Laurel delivered what she promised on time, and went above and beyond any expectations we had. Definitely the best memento we have from our wedding weekend - her videography captured all of the joy, love, excitement that we were feeling that staged photos never could. Thank you so much Laurel! read more

Before I met Laurel I didn't quite understand what a Super 8 film was or the significance of it, but I'm so glad I do now. The beautiful nostalgic feeling it gave to our wedding film is so special and unique. It brought me to tears the moment I saw the film. She did an absolutely beautiful job at capturing our day in a way that we way wouldn't be able to experience through our own memories. Not only is she insanely talented, she's such an amazing person! Her kind and calming spirit made the day feel less stressful. It felt as if she were just there as our friend throughout the day. I can't recommend Laurel enough! read more

Laurel is creative, talented and an absolute joy to work with! Her work is ethereal and authentic and her video style is unique in the world of wedding videography. She was exactly what we were looking for and we're so thankful she was a part of our day! When we first met with Laurel she was prepared, clearly loved her work and had lots of great questions for us. And we didn't have all the answers ... but that was ok! She worked hard to understand the vibe we were trying to create and was always so responsive--from the pre-wedding planning to the post-wedding music selections. Laurel was so enthusiastic about our wedding day and didn't miss a single detail or emotion. There were so many times during the day that we didn't even realize she was filming. Then all these magical moments ended up in our film and we're able to remember every feeling of love from each other, from our family and from our guests. We watch our film nearly every day and it brings out new emotions each time. Both of our parents (who were honestly initially skeptical about hiring a videographer) are in LOVE with the film and with Laurel. We're all so happy to get to relive the day and they gush about all the little moments and glances she captured. We also received our film much sooner than we expected--which was such a treat! Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without Laurel, and every day we're so grateful we found her. We can't rave about Laurel Wedding Films enough! read more

Words cannot express how happy we are that we hired Laurel for our wedding day! Leading up to the wedding she was so easy to work with. Always responding to my emails right way and being patient with all of my questions. And on the wedding day, WOW! Such a rock star. Then once we got the videos---they are UNREAL!!!! I think we've watched it over 100 times, easily. :) If we could give her 10 stars out of 5 we would! If you're on the fence about getting a videographer---DO IT and book Laurel Wedding Films! Laurel Wedding Films created a true piece of art for our wedding day. She got to know both of us and incorporated our different tastes into a film that we are both are obsessed with! We went with one of her bigger packages and every piece she delivered was so great. Up to the day of the event Laurel stayed in touch but I never felt overwhelmed by questions. The day of the wedding she was capturing everything but never overbearing--so important on a day that was admittedly more stressful than I anticipated. She's a pro. If you're on the fence... book her. You wont regret it. read more

My husband and I both agree that hiring Laurel of Laurel Wedding Films as our wedding videographer may have been the best decision we made throughout our wedding planning process. From the very beginning, Laurel was helpful and accommodating. She was willing to go out of her way to meet me for coffee so that we could get to know each other and discuss my thoughts for our wedding film. Laurel was eager to try to understand and work with me on my vision for our wedding video and the things that I had liked/disliked in prior videos I had seen (both her online examples and others I had seen from friends, etc.)--but, more importantly, she was also completely willing to take the lead when I let her know that I did not really have any specific vision and that I trusted her to just do her thing. Laurel went out of her way throughout the entire process, even coming along with us on our final venue walkthrough in order to see the venue for the first time to start developing ideas. And she was incredible to be around throughout the day--she's sweet and fun to interact with, and she had us cracking up as she shot close-ups. During the reception she seemed to always be in the right place at the right time to get the perfect shot, but without being obtrusive in any way. Most importantly, the final product she produced is absolutely stunning. Both the shorter highlight film and the longer "doc film" have brought us to tears, and we simply could not be any happier with how they turned out. Laurel did such an incredible job capturing all of the emotions of the day, and it is so fun now to get to relive those feelings through her videos. We will truly cherish them for a lifetime. If you are looking for a wedding videographer, you simply cannot do better than Laurel Wedding Films. She'll be like a friend to you throughout the process, and she'll produce the best video you've ever seen for an exceptional price value. read more

Laurel is the absolute best! We feel so incredibly lucky to have stumbled upon Laurel's information after a deep Google search. My *now* husband and I were not initially planning hiring a videographer for our wedding, but once we saw Laurel's work, we couldn't resist. In my husband's words "I initially was against the idea of having a videographer at our wedding until Alex kindly let me know what was in my best interest (as she always does) and I could not be happier with the results!" Laurel is thoughtful, intentional and creative. She captured the very best, most important moments of our wedding day and now, we get to relive our favorite day with the click of a button. We cannot recommend Laurel enough. Her work speaks for itself, just watch any one of her videos. Finally, she just gets it. We wanted to emphasize our Latino culture, our love for one another and our love for our guests -- and she nailed it. My recommendation is to get her booked soon, because three of my friends have already scooped her up for their wedding days! read more

Want to know what you will regret most about your wedding? Not hiring a videographer. Don't let this happen to you and hire Laurel. She is incredibly talented and I've been walking around like a film star after watching the videos Laurel created for us. Our wedding day went by so fast it was hard to remember all the precious moments yet because of Laurel, I have a powerful piece of film that brings me into the moment again and again. Besides talent, Laurel is a breeze to work with. On our original wedding date, Denver got around 4 feet of snow and Laurel was ready to cross country ski to be there. We decided to move the wedding, but her dedication still stands. Laurel is everything and more. read more

Laurel filmed my daughter's wedding and we were could not believe how incredible it was!! She captured every special moment in their day...the laughter, each special tear, celebrating, funny moments and things we didn't know she was there for (she was everywhere, but never really saw her). She takes the time to learn about who she is filming and makes the final product about the couple instead of a cookie cutter video. Each video I have seen is unique to each wedding and she was able to capture my daughter and her husband's special moments throughout the entire day from their arrival to the venue until the sparkler send off! Laurel Cohen is not only an artist, but truly just an amazing person. We really enjoyed getting to know her and so happy we found her! We could not be happier that we hired Laurel as our videographer. From the very first time we met, she was positive, uplifting, fun, and easy going. Planning a wedding is stressful, and vendors like her make it so easy. The wedding party was running a little behind schedule getting ready on the day-of, and she put us at ease with her positive attitude. I got many compliments from our friends and family about how great she was to work with. She just brings positive, happy energy to the day. When we got our videos, we were BLOWN AWAY. Her talent and ability to capture both those beautiful, fleeting moments throughout the day and our unique personality as a couple is unmatched. It was just so "us". Picking music was a breeze as she was patient while we had trouble deciding which song we wanted for our highlight film. Now we know the one she suggested, which we ultimately chose, was the perfect one to capture our love.
