My surgeon, Vladimir Yakopson, MD, is a world-class professional. The both facilities (Puyallup &…read moreAuburn, WA) were immaculate, organized, and maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and excellence. Every member of the staff was exceptionally courteous, attentive, compassionate, and professional, creating an atmosphere of complete confidence and comfort from start to finish. As a board-certified surgeon and Army veteran, Dr. Yakopson exemplifies integrity, discipline, precision, and selfless service. His bedside manner was remarkable--he listened carefully, explained every detail thoroughly, and treated me with genuine respect and care throughout the entire process. The surgical outcome exceeded every expectation (20 duty stations in 30+ years I and my family have experienced a lot of doctors from Germany, Italy, to Hawaii. You name it we've been there). Dr. Yakopson demonstrated the qualities universally respected among elite surgeons: extraordinary precision, exceptional clinical judgment, meticulous surgical technique, outstanding attention to detail, and an unparalleled commitment to patient outcomes. His calm confidence and mastery in surgery are evident in every aspect of his work. Because of Dr. Yakopson, I am recovering with renewed mobility and confidence. I can say without hesitation that he is among the finest surgeons imaginable. I would trust him with my health again a thousand times over and recommend him to anyone seeking the absolute best in Ophthalmology care. A. Miller

Dr Patel does fantastic work he is great at communicating, has a wonderful bedside manner and an amazing team of support staff. I wake up daily amazed that I can now read the clock across the room without glasses or contacts! I was so impressed with the operation aspect of the business, the entire staff is friendly, communicative, professional and values your time, investment and confidentiality.

But go ahead, ask your question." As if I was offending him by having concerns. As if by asking questions I was somehow challenging his expertise, rather than acknowledging it. As if this wasn't exactly the right time and place to ask questions. A bit shocked by his dismissive comment, i initially thought I should simply leave and find a different doctor. Then I thought about the weeks I had to wait just to get this appointment, and starting that process all over again, and I swallowed my pride and simply responded, "No, never-mind." But I also knew then that I would eventually write a review in which I told prospective patients this story, in case anyone preferred not to be disregarded in this way. To be fair, I am pleased with the results of my surgery. I had researched Dr Patel and never doubted his skills. But I was offended by his manner at that initial consult and believe that patients deserve to be treated better.

The Dr and his staff are great and all about taking care of you. No arrogance or attitude, just great service from a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They got me in and done with both eyes within 3 weeks of my initial consultation. I'm sitting here now just 3 days after my second surgery with crystal clear 20/20 vision and it's awesome. Don't wait, just get it done as it will change your life. The surgery itself was painless, even afterwards and the next day. No IV's and no starving yourself the night before. The whole process took about 15 minutes.

After all the exam and tests and whatnot was told I'd be given some trial lenses to work with and learn with and I would get a call in a few days to see how I was doing and to let me know when my lenses would arrive. The woman that was to help me with my trial lenses was rude and not helpful at all. I had to find out from a co-worker that they could be inside out... and then my wife showed me how to tell!! Well, I got 2 different strengths on the trial lenses which was tough to adjust to, and I got 7 lenses and told to throw them away at the end of each day. Okay, 7 lenses are not going to last very long especially when I have 2 eyes and that equates to 3 days and one left over! This was all on the 6th of January, it is now the 20th!! No calls, no lenses!! I have called and called...no answer and left a message asking for some answers... nothing!!
