I am having a problem with the Ebensburg office. I went in to pick up cpap supplies last week, and…read morethe lady gave me the wrong tubing. I didn't realize it until I got home. I went back two days later to exchange it, and I was told NO. They cannot give me the correct one unless I pay out of pocket. It was their mistake and they want me to pay for it?? Nope

I was given an emergency tank to use and I used it while taking to the delivery driver who was there to collect the portable oxygen machine that fails me EVERY winter. Imagine pinching your nose closed and breathing out of a straw in your mouth, that's what it's like for me on a daily basis. I was scolded like a child for using my emergency tank. I didn't want to be rude and walk into another room while trying to talk to the driver, so I sat down and hooked onto the tank. At one point, the driver actually slammed a portable oxygen machine down onto my dining room table and said, "Well here, use this one then!" His temper raged to the point that I should have called the police. The replacement was also defective! That cost me a non-refundable round-trip flight to Minneapolis for Christmas because I had no oxygen machine and tanks would be impossible on a flight, while there and flight home. The driver said he had never been to an airport so he didn't know how I would manage oxygen for there or a trip. I was told it was very expensive for the company to deliver oxygen to me from their company location. Yet, I see their delivery vans in Somerset frequently, so I know i'm not their only customer. I'm told Medicare only pays the company for the first 3 years & no payment for the last 2 years. Perhaps that is the issue. I would think the company would charge enough in the first 3 years to cover the last 2 years. I will say, the driver was courteous to me when he delivered my repaired machine back to me. Proceed cautiously and ask lots of questions!

As my dad has MS and has special needs, it was a special order, which also has a warranty. He was really nice before the purchase, but afterwards, any issues that arose, we were met with rudeness and idleness. I'm not sure if his issue is with young people, women, or everyone, but he is anything but professional. My dad's chair has a cord that connects to the remote, and the lock to hold it into the bottom of the chair was broken, and it was moving the whole way up and the whole way back on its own, sometimes rendering my dad helpless with his head on the ground for hours at a time or pushed against the wall due to the malfunctioning chair. When multiple PCAs and I reported this to Kurt, instead of showing concern or trying to fix the problem quickly, he was callous, cold and full of excuses to myself and two PCAs over the phone. We reported problems the middle and end of the week as it happened more than once and he waited until the following week to order the parts. The problem continued and we switched out the recliner for another chair that he barely fits in and moved the recliner to the living room to be worked on. When he got to the house to fix it, he said it can't be fixed because the frame is warped but he said my dad isn't heavy enough to do that? The frame wasn't even the problem initially and probably got warped while my dad was in compromising positions during the time Kurt neglected to order the parts. He even said to me and a PCAs that dad cried wolf with the cord once before and he sent it back to the company even though it worked and he wasn't going to do it again. I'm sorry but it's not the customer's job to know how to fix something, it's his job. If it still worked, he should have been able to see that instead of neglecting a disabled elderly man and allowing him to be upside down multiple times before ordering anything, after 4-5 calls and me threatening to contact the Better Business Bureau, he finally ordered the part, but now he can't fix the chair bc of the frame that no one is strong enough to warp and won't honor the warranty? This feels wrong. Do not do business with this man if you value the safety of your loved ones. He may have products that are cheaper than other places, but the service is cheap too and virtually non-existent. I am contacting the office of aging, Blair senior services and the Better Business Bureau, but I wanted to make sure our story was heard here too.

The frame wasn't even the problem initially, it was the cord on the bottom which was an electrical issue & multiple times put my dad the whole way back with his head nearly on the floor as it wouldn't stop moving on it's own and my dad is disabled, the frame probably got warped while my dad was in compromising positions during the time Kurt neglected to order the parts & yelled, literally yelled & hung up on me &t caregivers who called out of concern as well. He even said to me & the caregivers that dad cried wolf with the cord once before & Kurt sent it back to the company even though it worked and he wasn't going to do it again. This feels wrong & petty. In addition, Kurt was at the house for nearly 6 hours taking the chair apart, & at nearly 8pm at night, when the last caregiver was leaving for the evening, my dad told Kurt he would need to leave as well so the house could be locked up as my dad isn't mobile. Kurt pitched a fit yelling at my dad then called me and yelled at me, & on his way out, the caregiver told me he slammed the door so hard the whole house shook. It's been over 6 months, he wouldn't answer any calls after he threw a fit at the house & the chair remains in our living room in pieces, my dad still in a chair too small because we can't afford to buy another chair as this one was thousands of dollars with a warranty he refused to honor. Do not do business with this man if you value the safety of your loved ones. He may have products that are cheaper than other places, but the service is cheap too & virtually non-existent.
