I've even started bringing my teenagers who also prefer Laura's individuality and style. I would be incomplete if I failed to emphasize Laura's sense of humor, funny stories and charm. I went in with my mom the other day to get a manicure. I hadn't gotten my nails done in about 10 years when I was a kid, so I was a little nervous. I asked for short almond dip nails, and my mom asked for medium square acrylics. The lady who did my nails finished insanely fast. I wasn't keeping track of time, but I want to say it felt like approximately 30 minutes. Looking at my nails, you can tell they were rushed. They're very uneven, more so in width than in height. The paint job (dip job?) looks and feels globby. Some nails are pointer than others, and I had to go home to file some nails because the ends were jagged. On top of that, both of my thumbs are missing a spot of polish (which I somehow didn't notice until I left). As for my mom, her session took about as long as I would expect for a manicure (an hour or so, which was a little odd since I wanted 3 different colors and polka dots on certain nails, while she wanted all one color with a small simple flower on her ring fingers, but maybe that's because she got full acrylics and I didn't). I'd argue that her nails turned out worse than mine. She prefers acrylics because of how thin they are, but even after requesting her nails to be thinner, they somehow ended up thicker than mine. They're thick, globby, uneven, and jagged. She's embarrassed to go out with them, but she doesn't want to ruin her nails by taking the acrylics off so soon. Overall, as much as I enjoyed talking to and laughing with the people who worked there, I don't think I'll return to Prime. And I don't think this was all worth around $90-$100+

The massage was ok and the tech seemed rushed. The second appointment I made needed to be canceled as well for another tech not coming in. They left the appointment in the schedule so I received a text and an email confirmation. When I showed up for the appointment they let me know that they called me and left a message, which they did but I didn't check my messages especially since after the call they were still sending confirmation reminders. The spa should not have been sending confirmation texts if there was no one there to perform my massage. After arriving I asked for a manager to call me that day and never received a call. I don't like writing bad reviews but there are plenty of small businesses that would love to have extra business and this hand and stone does not appreciate it.
