I made my appointment…read moreonline for full highlights, color, cut, and blow dry, and specified in the comment section the current condition of my hair, what I color it with (all professional products and NO BOX DYE). She didn't listen to a word I said and completely messed it up. I showed a collection of images with red copper and blonde and said I wanted to keep my red hair and add copper and blonde highlights. She made it brown, purple, faded red, yellow, orange, only partial foils, never touched my roots, and cut my hair for a total of 5 minutes. I complained at the salon where the owner and the other stylist tried to gaslight me into thinking it looked good when it looked a mess. They deducted the cost of full highlights from my bill (considering I didn't receive full highlights) and charged me $180. The assistant was super sweet so I tipped her but I also tipped Marne because I know times are tough. When I got home and looked in different lights and mirrors as well as my door woman literally freaking out and upset about what happened to my beautiful red hair, I called the salon. When I called, the owner was busy at that time but the assistant said she would call back. Instead, she had the other hair stylist call me and try to tell me a bunch of lies. They offered to fix it, but if this was their idea of what looked good, I wasn't interested. The amazing stylist who fixed my hair on Thursday August 18th- he took before photos of my hair of what Marne at FabHair did. What Salon FabHair did was a disaster, and it faded drastically in the 4 days between. On Friday August 19th, I sent one final email including all the photos of what they did to me, asked again for them to do the right thing and refund my money. Tuesday August 23rd she finally responded with photos from her security camera and more lies!!!!!!! On the date of service, Marne told me multiple times the great condition of my hair and never mentioned my haircut being uneven. She said that she told me before we started that it would be a process, however the truth is that she didn't mention this until I was already processing and she probably saw it wasn't coming out the way she planned. In fact, I heard her tell several clients this. She claimed in her email that the services she did prepared my hair for the color correction at the other salon I went to get it fixed. The hair stylist who fixed my hair said my hair was not damaged and in great condition. He said "Your highlights pulled up perfectly, actually more perfect than I thought because you had zero banding from your at home work, maybe one in the back but that's whatever. The banding that was there was from improper foil placement from what they did". So what I'm trying to say is- if you like your hair, don't go there. Ever. If I could give them ZERO stars, I would. Save yourself, and find a salon that cares about their clients and the work they do.

I typically take the day off…read morewhen visiting the salon so I can relax and enjoy my experience at Luxe without any other commitments. This is my spa day! The individual attention, care and pampering I receive here are some of the many reasons why I come to Luxe and are unlike any other experience that I had elsewhere. I receive color/bayalage from Alishia and cut/style from Marybeth. Alishia is an artist and truly gifted with her hair coloring/painting ability! I love that they take before, during, and after pictures of my hair! The pictures are empowering and let me see the transformation of my hair. Marybeth is extremely talented with the scissors. She always gives my hair more depth with layers to allow for volume and has consistently given me the best haircuts of my life. My hair feels and looks so healthy after my visit and lasts a very long time. The scalp massage during the wash is my absolute favorite, any tension that I feel is immediately released from my body. I live in the city and have very hard water so I always ask for the hard water treatment where you can smell the minerals/metals coming off of my hair! It leaves my hair absolutely smooth and I recommend this application to anyone with hard water. When COVID started, my appointment had to be cancelled and once the salons received the clearance to open, I received a call where the staff were accommodating each customer based on the cancellation date. I currently work in healthcare and I was nervous to go into the facility with risk that I could bring the virus home to my patients and family. The salon uses every precaution and because of the intimated boutique environment you are the one of the only clients there. The salon is sanitized after each client and you are met at the front door for hand sanitizer and temperature checks. Luxe Color Lounge has been the only place that I truly felt safe in except for my home!

My hair has been…read morelong most of my life, and I decided, almost on a whim, that I was ready for a change, and wanted to donate as much as I could of it to the nonprofit, Children With Hair Loss... Mary Beth helped me take 12 inches off while completely transforming my look, and so much more. Being as though I've never had short hair before, I didn't have much guidance to give her except a few inspo photos... And yet she somehow created the most PERFECT cut for me. Not to mention the incredible scalp massage from Ashley that came with getting my hair washed... I'm a Luxe convert. Thank you so much Mary Beth and the team for helping me end 2024 on a high note, while also paying it forward. Grateful for you!!

Update part 2: I finally broke down and called the salon because I missed having my hair cut by…read moreLauren. Despite the fact that she is still is listed as a stylist on the website, I got the nastiest response from the women who picked up the phone (Doris maybe?) about how it's been a LONGGG time since Lauren worked there. She then just sat on the phone and didn't say anything. Do you even care about return customers? Update- I stopped in awhile ago (After getting several more haircuts) to have my bangs trimmed. The website said it was $5 and the woman charged me $15. I casually pointed this out to her and she gave me a blank stare and said nothing even after I pulled up the website. So I paid her $15 and left, irked based on the customer service. After several follow up emails to the manager, I finally got a note back that said she would deduct the cost from my next haircut. Not impressed after this experience so won't go back. However, If Lauren ever started her own salon, I'd go there in a heartbeat. (Note the website now says Bang trims $5+) I got my hair highlighted for the first time ever last night. Lauren was absolutely amazing. I had no idea what colors I wanted and she intelligently guided me towards two different colors that I absolutely love. She also cut my hair beautifully after the color. More than that, everyone in the salon was so kind and welcoming. It was the best salon experience I've ever had. I will absolutely be going back.

She was not sure if I would be attended today. , So she asked the hairdressers who would cut my hair. She was told I should call in advance. It was weird because they jus were talking in between them without working or having any client. Then I asked how long would take to have a hair cut. I was told just one week.
