Been going to I'm Sergio on and off for 10 years, but been going less frequently recently. After a few mediocre haircuts, my most recent visit is indeed going to be my last. I saw Claudia at a last minute appointment on New Year's Day, and even though the salon wasn't busy, she did a speed-run on my haircut. While trying to set a record for fastest haircut she shaved a bald spot over my left ear! Barely trimmed the rest, and overall it was uneven. Granted over the years I'm used to certain high (very) standard set by stellar providers like Vesna, and Christine But today I received the absolutely disappointing service. I don't know my providers name. Did not feel welcome at all. The provided did not offered a drink . Did not receive the head massage or the usual hot towel. The shampooing made me empathize with Eddard Stark . The back of my neck is still sore from the wash. Again in all fairness the haircut is great and is exactly what is asked for. read more

I went to see Merissa and this is the best haircut I have received in a LONG time! She was very professional, friendly, and starts off the haircut with a shampoo and warm towel around the face. I can't speak highly enough about this place. They have beer. They cut my hair right every time. They wash my hair. They do the hot towel thing. I get a shoulder massage. They have TVs with sports. After having shaved my head myself for a long time, I found that I wanted to let my hair (what is left of it) grow. As I am balding up top, being able to blend what is left up there with the sides is a job for a professional. I had resisted going to an upscale place but convinced myself based on other reviews that is was worth a shot. I arrived shortly before the appointed time and was immediately taken back for shampoo, conditioner and hot towel by Jessica, who did a very through job. I then enjoyed my complimentary beverage as I awaited my stylist, Alyssa. Alyssa was very friendly and welcoming. I placed a lot of trust in her to find a style that would work for my hair and she did a terrific job. She communicated well during the cut , making sure I liked the direction she was going in. She also worked on my eyebrows and did a great job there also. All in all, I was very pleased with the services rendered and the customer service. I will return and see Alyssa again and would recommend her to everyone. The price, while not cheap, was commensurate with the service and I felt represented fair value for the experience I received. Quick tip: I did not know this walking in, but when you pay by credit/debit and you want to add a tip, the shampoo girl does not get a cut unless it is specified. For that reason, there are small signs at the front desk stating cash tips are preferred. I was lucky to have enough on me to tip Jessica with cash and place Alyssa's tip on my card. read more

Needed a cut in a pinch and and my guy was not available. I work down the street so I stopped here to see if they take walk-ins. They were packed to the gills, but still managed to take me immediately. As for the space, it's like a barber shop meets salon. I'm more of a neighborhood shop guy... my guy only has two chairs in his shop. This spot was definitely a little out of my element, but the barber was cool so the whole deal was pretty chill. You apparently can schedule appointments online. All in all the place obviously is clearly progressive and has their shit together. Im fucking atrocious with names, but when I got home I had an email from the shop detailing my cut, barber, etc. As for the cut, Anita handled it. Her fade game is strong. I'm loyal a fuck to my guy, but in the event I couldn't get to him and needed cut ASAP, I'd definitely go back again. read more
