I moved to Montgomery County in 2008 and have gone about 100 places to get a haircut since then…read more I've tried them all - old school barber shops, mall salons, cookie cutter chains, 'sportsclips' or whatever - and nothing comes close to haircut and level of service that I get at Style of Man. They take walk-in's but I recommend getting an appointment, especially if you like a particular stylist. Charlie has been doing my hair for over a year now and I've never looked or felt better. She really knows what she's doing. She always remembers me and how I like to wear my hair (and all the particular things to, length, what to do with cowlicks etc). You can call for an appointment or set it up online now - very convenient! When you walk in to Style of Man, you are greeted by a friendly receptionist. If you are early, you can relax with a beer and watch some TV in their comfortable lounge area. When it's your time, you'll get a relaxing wash then it's off to your stylist. Standard service is $35 and includes wash, hair cut and style, straight razor neck shave, and a short neck massage. Don't let the $35 price tag throw you off. It's a great haircut and really worth it. Also, in between cuts you can just pop in a get a FREE CLEANUP. Great service and really makes my hair cut last. The neck shave is great too. A lot of places just do the electric razor on the neck, but after a few hours it's hairy again. The neck shave buys me at least a few extra days. All in all, great place for a hair cut. They do an awesome job, lot's of perks, and the free clean ups really put this place over the top.

She told me to bring a picture line for a low taper fade next time. Why would I bring a picture for a low taper fade when you told me that all of your employees are experienced. It would be an insult to that employee if I did that. I didn't want her to touch the top in my head. I just wanted a light trim around the sides and I didn't even get that. It is a very young girl who, probably the youngest one there. So if you come across our do not go to her because you will not get your money back and the owner will dispute with you whether the haircut is correct on how you want.

This is going to be another awesome review about Cheryl, obviously the owner picked a great hairstylist and should not let her go. Contrary to Ken, the last poster, I am a salon guy, I moved to Conshohocken about a year ago, and have been wondering around looking for a salon/hairstylist that has a personality and the staff to go with that. This is definitely one of those places. I gave Cheryl a general idea of what I was looking for, and let her to the rest. A true hairstylist is the expert and will know how to cut your to best fit the your shape and texture of your hair. Cheryl is definitely that person! Additionally, the complimentary in between clean-up is great customer service. It's now been 4 weeks and my hair still looks good. Keep doing what you're doing. read more

I've been going to Sergio Conshy for 3 years . It is hands down the best place I've ever gone to . My loyalty is to Denise because she is the best . When to the Salon when it first opened, I gave up my barber in town in hopes for a more updated cut. I got that on my first visit! I was happy with my stylist and continued to have my hair cut there. After only a few cuts my girl left all of a sudden. I was disappointed but gave another stylist there a try. She was did fine but on my second visit with her she too was gone! By far, my favorite provider is I Am Sergio located in Conshocken PA , specifically Denise Lopez. Denise has been my hairstylist for over 5 years. She is not only technically proficient, but worked with me, offering suggestions that resulted in a look that I really enjoy. She provides the level of detail that I come for, and obviously knows what I want every time. The counter service is always friendly and helpful. I love the vibe here, as they are quick to offer a beer or a shot of something stronger to relax you, and you can choose from standard services for men, including disposable straight edge shaves, to some of the less common like waxing of eyebrows or ears or nose. Everyone gets along here and I don't notice unneeded drama. Lots of laughs. Caveats: some or most of the barbers here are in high demand, I recommend you plan well in advance. They use the Squire app to manage your appointments remotely or call into their phone number. No photos as there are always people in there.

Great haircut, good prices, good conversation. They take walk-ins (which I did the first time I went), but there's times when it's packed with appointments and you might be waiting a bit for your turn, so it's best to go on their website beforehand and book an appointment - its a seamless process. I usually go to Chris or Jeff, but there are plenty of other barbers there that can give you exactly what you need. If you're looking for a barber, look no further.
