Due to COVID we had to postpone our wedding an entire year out. Stacey was incredibly accommodating. Stacey was a part of our entire planning process. She gave us vendor recommendations and feedback on our decisions. I loved having Stacey with us throughout the entire wedding. Stacey and her assistant Myra made our day amazing. They were so prepared and helped the day flow perfectly. They even had snacks for my husband and I. Stacey made sure to get all the photos we requested. She did a great job of rounding up all the family and bridal party. I knew the photos were gonna be incredible from seeing other weddings, but I still can't believe how beautiful our photos are. She captured the day so well. The photos are so crisp and clear. They are works of art. If you're considering booking Stacey I'd honestly say make sure she is available before booking your date with your venue. Once the wedding is over with you only have photos and videos. Stacey is the best decision you will make for your wedding day.

For someone who usually doesn't like getting their photo taken she made our photos so fun and laid back. She got amazing shots during the wedding ceremony as well! Jennifer was even willing to go to the beach with us as part of our shoot, despite hurricane like winds and captured the most beautiful photos - you would never know how windy it was and how many out takes she probably had. She also stayed even past our set time to make sure we had photos of our small reception which was so kind and meant so much to us. Truly a pleasure to work with and I would definitely recommend her to anyone for your family photos or wedding day!!

My first trip to Silver Spoon was a great success. After hearing recommendations for a while, I…read morefinally elected to give it a go. When I saw the Korean Hot Chicken Sandwich among the day's specials, I knew the direction in which I would tread. I perused the wines next door whilst waiting for my sandwich and the fellow who worked there asked what I'd ordered his eyes nearly rolled back in his head when I told him. "Sooooo good," he moaned. "As are the pork quesadillas," he added. He was correct. I took the sandwich home with the intention of plating it and eating it in a civilized manner, but that did not happen. I devoured it straight from the box. I am only saddened because the experience did not last longer. If you want to see and be seen, by all means lunch at Babette's. If you want delicious food that is ever so slightly off the beaten path, head for Silver Spoon. Hooray!

I corresponded with…read morehim leading up to the trip and he was highly responsive and communicative relaying potential menu options and accommodations. Using his service was such a good choice for our first night after a morning of traveling and wine tasting. Being able to settle into our home and start catching up, throwing on comfy clothes, and having everything done for us was BEYOND nice. When Chris arrived, all I had to do was show him where the kitchen was and he got to work. We started with 3 apps - a cheese fondue with nice crusty bread and veggies, mini shrimp tostadas, and meatballs - all were so good and huge portion sizes! Chris set our table beautifully, served us 2 salads (an awesome herbed orzo salad with goat cheese + a delicious broccoli salad) and set up a lovely buffet for our main course! We got local fluke in a caper sauce, a skirt steak, roasted cauliflower, asparagus, and zucchini, roasted sweet potatoes, + INCREDIBLE mac and cheese!! For dessert, he served us an icebox oreo cake that we will probably talking about for years to come. He cleaned up absolutely everything for us - the entire experience was truly hands off and we were so grateful for it! We also had an absolute ton of leftovers that sustained us for the rest of the weekend that Chris put in tupperware for us before he left. We have all already discussed that we want to re-do the whole trip, Chris included! I highly recommend him for any group, he was friendly and easy to talk to and needed absolutely zero guidance - a total pro. The experience was seamless and the food was incredible.

All the fruits and veggies were perfectly in season, the salmon and chicken were cooked amazingly, and everything tasted fantastic. Chris was quick and totally on it pre dinner while we were figuring out the menu. He was super accommodating to the bride to be's pickiness and all food allergies etc. He cleaned up everything and even helped us with the extra dishes we left in the sink:) We literally only got one photo because people dug in so quickly! Thank you Chris!! Your number has been spread to all the friends!

Do yourself, and your guests a favor ... Book them now!…read more We chose East End Entertainment and DJ Michael for our October 2022 wedding after one conversation with him ... and it was such a great decision. We had called/ requested multiple companies for pricing and availability, and from the first phone call we knew this company was different than all the rest, and that Michael really loves what he does. We had decided to do a "DIY" wedding, and honestly - probably could not have pulled it off as successful as we did without his help, talent, and personal investment in our event. He was easy to contact over both email and phone, and when we got busy and overwhelmed, he stayed on top of us to make sure that he had all the information he needed. The wedding outline he uses and phone/email conversations helped guide and structure our entire night and he worked to really get a feel for the atmosphere we were trying to achieve ... He managed to turn a ballroom in a historical house into a fun, yet classy, dance party that incorporated BOTH my wife's love for early 2000's dance music and brought out my 90's punk/ alternative! While still getting younger family members and parents and grandparents out on the dance floor. We used the North fork Rustic Decor DJ booth (which I'm pretty sure he built himself!) after DJ Michael saw photos of the space and recommended it, and it fit perfectly! And when we stumbled during the cake cutting (we did not have a Maitre D - and neither of us knew what to do next, or who cuts first) ... I look up and there is DJ Michael. He had stepped down from the stage and DJ booth, came to our table, and discreetly guided us through it, to flawlessly look like we knew what we were doing! There was at least a few more moments just like this, from nailing our entrance, to making sure we were served first from the Food Truck, and speeches went smooth... If you want your wedding or event to go seamlessly and have perfect music and DJ, this is definitely the one!

Friendly staff, central location and a great new selection of native plants--lots of choices now!…read moreIt used to be hard to find native plants for sale on the East End (plants like the ones you see happily growing in nature preserves or along hiking trails in the woods). You'd have to order online or search every display table at our local retail outlets, and then check to be sure those are really Long Island locals, attractive to birds, nourishing for pollinators and hardy enough to grow in our mostly sandy or loamy soil. Native plants don't need fertilizers or even much water after they've settled into the right place, so you're not wasting money or resources. Wittendales has clearly labelled "LI Local" pots with blue and yellow stickers (think Swedish flag colors), along with posters, signs, and a binder with plant care tips. If you need help coordinating plants that play well together , I'm told their displays of color coordinated "companion plantings " will change as the growing season progresses. Also, they have reasonable prices!
