She absolutely,…read more100% helped me to realize that I could change my life and, truthfully, she saved my life in the process. Dr. Solis-Smith uses parts of Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT) in her sessions as well as general talk-therapy. I was honestly at a point in my life where I didn't want to live and I didn't think anything or anyone could help me get out of the dark place I was stuck in. She went above & beyond for me twice a week for 4 months and taught me so much about myself that I'd not realized and gave me the tools that I didn't know I possessed in order to become a better person. She influenced my life so greatly that I can't even surmise it into words. She worked in sync with my psychiatrist at the time & they worked together to come up with a game plan to help me better my own life. She inspired so much in me and taught me so much that I've now graduated from university with a degree in Psychology and plan to attend graduate school next year for Cognitive Behavioral therapy. I would recommend her to anyone in any mental condition because she is an amazing human being, support system & role model. This person helped me save my life.
