Shortly after we entered the open waters of mid-bay, we started catching, and ended up with approx. 21 Stripers (we might have lost count), and 1 nice Bluefish that Blaine bled out immediately, and enabled us to cook it up berre blanc style and it was excellent.) About 15 stripers were legal sized, but we only kept our legal limit of course. (If we were in NY, we would be eating bass for the rest of the summer! Maybe that's why MA allows less keepers so that there are more available for others to catch!) Regardless, it was literally non-stop action and both Capt. Bob and his mate Blaine were awesome. Get to South Street off 6A, and then drive, drive, drive to the end of South Street (it's bumpy and gravely and a fun ride) where we can park in a nestle of trees. From there it's a quick hop over the dunes via the path, and endless splashing and playing await. Check the tide times for Barnstable harbour, and head on down for low tide! There's even some rocks to play around on if you do hit high tide....
