During our tours of potential properties, there were many memorable conversations with Nadia and Kenny. They listened to our hopes for a home with more space, closer to family in the Westchester area, a place with less maintenance than the1860 farmhouse that we'd renovated for over 40 years. They factored in our goals for upsizing, for a home with character, with interesting aesthetics, with a manageable outdoor area--more interior space, less exterior upkeep. Nadia and Kenny were continually supportive as they knew this move would mean an important emotional shift from an old, beloved home to the new home in another state. Then she and Kenny were a great comfort when we lost bids on two homes that had seemed ideal. Throughout those months, they consistently encouraged us to remain positive and promised that we would find our "dream home."
Which we did! One day Nadia sent a "coming soon" listing. We asked her to arrange a pre-Open House tour and immediately knew this was the dream house. One of the memorable highlights of that tour was Kenny's delight that we were so happy with the home that was perfect for us, more "right" for us than the two offers we'd lost. Nadia worked her magic with the pre-approval, presented our bid expressing our admiration for the home's aesthetics, and three days later, phoned us to say our offer had been accepted! She arranged the home inspections, helped us meet the seller and attorney, and constantly resolved questions, worries, and glitches.
It's no overstatement to say that Nadia introduced a magical flow that reduced anxieties and helped us believe the months of search-to-closing would bring us "home."
Throughout these months we relied on Nadia's and Kenny's extensive professional experience, wisdom, personal insights, and positive philosophy. In the unexpectedly hot Westchester/Putnam county markets we knew they had our best interests at heart and then by the end, we felt that our search had become a personal search for them as well. It's amazing how much a buyer has to trust, truly like, and deeply admire their real estate broker.
