OMG another fantastic restaurant in Steamboat! The food was amazing! Highly recommend the crispy potatoes and the pork cheek bao buns and bison tips. Jetson our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. She enhanced the evening. The craft cocktails were great - spicy infused tequila margarita was the best of the evening. I put this location at the top of the list! read more

We went in after 8pm and sat at the bar. It was very empty with only one other couple at the bar. Bartender was friendly Bread pudding ($14) was really small but it was good with the sauce Pavlova mess ($14) was very tasty and a good portion My partner said his feelin randy ($18) drink was good This place is owned by the creek side cafe owner next door read more

A delightful dining experience. Laundry sits inside a historic building that used to be a laundry - go figure. Brick walls give it an excellent vibe. The menu features all comfort food items, taken up a notch. The panzanella salad was exceptional, with bread from the bakery next door. Salad with chevre (goat) cheese was wonderful. Fried chicken had been sous vide, then crisped in the fryer and served with slaw and house made pickles. Delicious. Service was exceptional, thanks Matthew, who explained the restaurant, menu and his favorites. Nicely done. There were no reservations left on line, so I called the restaurant, and the woman who answered said come on in at my requested time. Perfect - no fuss. but recommend you get a reservation. The place was packed, even on a rainy weeknight. Sound wise, Laundry was moderate, so we were still able to have pleasant dinner conversation. read more

We ate dinner here last night. It was good but not great. The best things were the Coconut Cream Pie and the Crispy Potatoes. The pie was more like a refrigerator cheesecake with coconut, caramel, and pineapple. Although it wasn't what I expected it was very good. The Bison Carpaccio was mid. I wouldn't order it again. The Pow Pow Shrimp and Elk Steak Tips was good . However, the Elk did not have enough meat In the dish. While the food was mostly good, my issue with the restaurant is that the portions are small AND expensive. There were 4 in our party--3 women (2 with small appetites) and 1 man. We ordered 4 dishes and 1 dessert and had no leftovers, which is unusual. My husband and I agreed we wouldn't return here on future visits to Steamboat Springs. None of the food was so good that we felt like we had to return to get anything again. Out of the 3 dinners we ate out on this trip, this one was our least favorite AND the most expensive. read more

We celebrated my 30th birthday here and made our reservation more than 45 days in advance. It definitely paid off -- we were given a prime booth table in a great location. The team mentioned that the special seating was because we had booked so far ahead, which I really appreciated. It was a thoughtful touch that made the night feel even more special. The service was also amazing! My drink was not what I expected and they were willing to comp and give me a new drink, which was very nice. Our dishes: - blue claw crab - dip / pancetta / chimichurri / whipped ricotta/ crackers (SO YUM) - carpaccio* - bison / roasted mushroom aioli / arugula salad / crispy parmesan (one of my favorite dishes, MUST!) - beets salad - pumpernickel / sheep down under / arugula / orange marmalade / pistachio (good!) - gnocchi special - diver scallops - shaved truffle / lemon / saffron arancini / 10 year balsamic (really tasty, well cooked!) - pork chop - 16oz hayden fresh / cider brine / kiss of smoke / apple butter (my FAVORITE) - crispy potatoes - truffle parmesan / pistachio pesto / black pepper aioli (better than expected!) - bread pudding bourbon anglaise / vanilla bean / cinnamon Although pricey, I would go back in the future! read more

Sheeeesh. This place doesn't mess around. Food and drinks are incredible. The place looks small, but they can pack people in there and there's another room on the side of the restaurant. It's a "nicer" restaurant. Most people were dressed pretty nicely, which fits the ambiance - definitely a little more upscale. Most recently, we walked in at 6:30pm on a Saturday and sat down at the bar. For food, We got the bread with butter and the wagyu beef. For the price to portion ratio, I was slightly disappointed with the wagyu. The strips were already sliced and cooked on each side, which I thought was strange. I was expecting to pick a temperature and cut into it myself. The bread was super super super good! Can't go wrong here. Lastly, the cocktails. AMAZING. I had the spicy "mocktail" but added an infused tequila and it was so good. So spicy but it didn't linger, stayed on the lips and mouth, perfect amount of spice. One of the best drinks I've had in a really long time read more

My adult son and daughter, my wife and I had a delightful dining experience here September, 2026. We sat outside which was delightful. It is right next to a creek and we had a brief glimpse of a bear on the other side of the creek while we were eating! We split 8 small plates plus one dessert between us. As always, the Pow Pow shrimp were great. We doubled up on that one. The bok Choy was really good. The Brussel sprouts hash was good. The pork cheeks were excellent. The bison tips were very expensive and the serving was quite small. However, it had an excellent sauce and we asked for extra bread to soak up the sauce. The potatoes were delicious. The bread pudding was great as well. All in all it was a wonderful dining experience. Sitting outside, relaxed, talking about each dish. We loved it. My daughter, a real foodie, says this is one of her favorite restaurants of all time. read more

Innovative food all around, some of the flavor combinations worked better than others yet each dish was solid. Tried the crab fritters, burrata, brisket, hash, and bread pudding. Bread pudding was the star, a wonderful mix of creamy, moist bread and a sugarbomb crème anglaise. Crab fritters and brisket are also must-try. read more

Great date night restaurant, with a warm atmosphere. Service is great! They serve small plates of very high quality food, meant to be shared. We tried 6 different plates that were all on another level of quality and flavor. While on the more expensive end of dining, I highly recommend you give this one a try. read more

Great food, service and ambiance. I try to find time to eat at Laundry whenever I am in Steamboat.

Overview: I would say this is probably my favorite restaurant to eat at while I'm in Steamboat and I always try to at least come once. The food is amazing, the staff are super friendly, and the ambiance is wonderful. The main dining area is nice and where I prefer to be seated. They also use the restaurant next door for additional seating. The food here is super good. There isn't a thing I've gotten, that I didn't love. Overall, this is a must go to place if you visit steamboat. What has been ordered: FOOD: panzanella salad, homemade pasta, salmon crudo, pork belly, pork cheeks, mac n cheese (probably other dishes that I can't think of haha ) Stand outs: Panzanella salad, pork belly, salmon crudo Would I come back/recommend: Yes - I would come back (again and again) Yes - I would highly recommend read more

Highly recommend the pork belly and the margonada, but the rest of the food we tried was underwhelming. Everything was cooked/prepared and plated well, but nothing wowed us with flavor like we expected. The ribeye was good but seemed like something we could get at any steakhouse. The linguine was too bitter from the arugula and didn't pair well with the earthy mushrooms. The brisket was just okay. I was hopeful that the artichokes were going to be a hit but the sourness of the pickling on them contrasted too much with the fair-food style fry-breading (a smoked artichoke would fit much better). Nonetheless, we cleaned our plates and had a wonderful evening thanks to the friendly staff and the beautiful space in an historic building on the creek. read more

The food is spectacular. The drinks were very tasty. Cute ambiance. Our waiter was super friendly maybe even too friendly but the food was delivered at a great pace. The truffle butter was a nice upgrade but I wish the dish came with more bread. Tuna was so fresh! The Wagyu dish was amazing just a small portion. The bison was also great. It's a 5 start place with 4 star portions basically. Great restaurant! Just left a little hungry for the price. read more

Rarely do I leave a 5 star review, but this was our favorite meal on our 25th anniversary trip. Service was good and plates came out at a perfect pace. The building & Laundry dining room were brick and a nice combination of rustic and classy. The food - delicious! We loved the concept of shareable plates and being able to try different dishes. First, we had crab fritters that were scrumptious. Next was the shrimp -oh so delicious with just a touch of sauce! The lamb meatballs were melt-in-your-mouth amazing on a bed of hummus and drizzled with tzatziki. The bison tips were very good, although our least favorite of the 4 choices listed. I loved the veggies and meat together, but hubs found them to be too lean for his liking. For dessert, I had the coconut cream pie and a latte. Pie was very good, but denser than your typical CC pie with pineapple inside and a dark toasted topping. Hubs had the bread pudding--absolutely amazing and so heavenly with the pour-it-yourself sauce. The damage...total was $201, with drinks comprising $49 of total. The bison tips were the most pricey dish at $45. In hindsight, I think we would skip the bison tips and opt for a veggie or potato side instead and probably share a dessert. We left very full but not miserable. Overall, a fabulous meal to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you for a great evening! We will definitely return if we're in the area again! read more

Stopped in on a Friday night with two girlfriends around 7pm - luckily we arrived before the dinner rush and were able to get seats at the bar because the standard tables were completely booked for the night. The place is very classy, not on the Main Street so has a little more of an intimate feel. Loved the brick accent walls that add an authentic feel, this place is 100 years old and used to be an actual laundry. The same restaurant group also owns the breakfast/brunch place next-door, which is also adorable and has patio seating by the creek. Our bartender Ryan was very down to earth and great conversation, recommended some yummy cocktails and chatted us up the whole time, giving us background on the restaurant and insights about the city as it was our first time in steamboat. The menu is tapas style, with everything intended to be shared, even the entrée style menu options that might seem like bigger plates. We decided to start with the carpaccio, the meat was good quality, and fresh, I loved the cheese and light refreshing arugula. Not a big fan of capers, so I avoided those. The crackers it came with were light and airy, not too filling. We also opted for the lamb meatballs, crispy truffle potatoes, and the salmon de oro special. I'm glad we overheard Ryan telling another group that the salmon is basically raw, as it influence our decision somewhat. The salmon was good, the crispy rice was a little over fried, and the ratio of salmon to rice could have been better, but the dish was tasty and not too heavy either. The lamb meatballs were delicious, I loved the sauce that they came with, I wish it came with more than three. The truffle potatoes were also a hit, perfectly crispy, served with a yummy creamy sauce and seasoned to perfection My friends had the fiery margarita, which was such an interesting green color that I don't often see, and they infuse their spirits in house - you can see them on the shelf, soaking in jars. The jalapeño infused tequila was perfectly spicy and made for a very yummy drink. We also tried Ellie's cocktail which also had a spicy cake, but more of a fruity flavor and served with a tajin rim. I don't recall seeing any desserts on the menu, maybe it was separate, but we were honestly so full that we wouldn't have been able to have any anyway. Overall, this place was pretty good quality, prices are not cheap for the dish size but in a touristy mountain town it's pretty typical. read more

My husband and I had a wonderful meal during our recent ski trip to Steamboat, just around New Year's Eve. I love the atmosphere, rustic with a contemporary touch, elegant yet relaxed. It's interesting to learn that the building served as the town's laundromat for 30 years, and you can still see its history displayed on the walls with antique washer boards. The menu offers mostly small plates, and we decided to share a few, all of them tasty and well presented. Service was impeccable, and we'll definitely return on our next visit to Steamboat! read more

Laundry was one of my favorite dinners ever. The location used to be a laundromat - and they have murals and photos to look at inside. You can also see all the infusions they are working on for the drink menu - including a daily rotating drink. Our server Jordan was incredible - his recommendations were all amazing. He truly made our experience better. The carpaccio, pork belly and crispy potatoes were all 10/10. I'm still thinking about the carpaccio. ummm.. yes please over and over again. From start to finish, the experience at Laundry was A++. Each bite of this family style-meal was outstanding for this 3 generation family and to top it off, our server, Graham, really took care of us. I think it takes the take as not only the best dining in Steamboat (over 2 weeks in the last 2 years), but also that I've had in my most recent memory. I'd gladly come back next time I'm visiting. I'm so glad I went there as the service and food was exceptional. First I showed up without reservations which I highly DO NOT recommend as they turned many people away because they were packed. They were gracious enough to let me sit at a table that was reserved to later since I was alone and promised to be done by the time the other party arrived. My waiter Aidan came by and quickly made some recommendations which were amazing. The bison carpaccio spectacular and she shrimp delicious. I had a life's a peach mock tail which was good but small so that I would not get again. All in all great vibe great service and I would love to go back and try more items on the menu. read more

Laundry - Beef Brisket & Crispy Potatoes - New American Near Me - Steamboat Springs, Colorado

Pros: - Amazing ambiance, seated outdoors next to a stream with a breeze and it was majestic. - Crispy potatoes were extremely impressive presentation wise and taste wise. Crunchy, hot, not too salty, amazing sauce just so damn delicious. - Brisket. Tender meat, caramelized onions, bread with the egg yolk to wrap it together into an amazing tasting package. So so good. - Margarita lover here. I got the spicy one and I loved the potency! It's actually spicy! I felt like the size of the drink is larger than most cocktails at other places. - Service! Wish I got the guys name. Had glasses, thin build. He was awesome. Knew his stuff and was very attentive. Cons - Ribeye was underwhelming. It wasn't as tender as I expected rib eye to be and it wasn't bursting with flavor like our other dishes , even with drowning each bite in the chimchurri (sauce was good though). At $59 we expected more. Only reason I couldn't give 5 stars and I feel bad about it because everything else was perfect. I cannot wait to visit Steamboat again, when we do the food will be what I think about on the drive up. read more

Laundry - Outside - New American Near Me - Steamboat Springs, Colorado

Visited on a Sunday night during July. 7pm reservation was apparently early because the place wasn't hopping until we left after 8. Our server knew the menu and drinks inside and out. The food runners were also knowledgeable. My husband and I got 4 small plates. The first was a beef in lettuce wrap and was great! After that they went downhill. I was pretty disappointed given the hype I'd heard about this place. The artichoke was a fried ball, that's all I can remember. The hash was pretty dry, it really needed more melted goat cheese. The steak tips were unremarkable. Probably won't go back. I found it to be a little to pretentious for me. Glad I know now. read more

Really enjoyed an early dinner with the parents to celebrate milestone birthdays. The waitstaff were happy to seat us creekside and the view was amazing - as was the food. Staff were incredibly attentive but not so much that we felt it. My only reservation was pricing. We've eaten in many amazing places and have always been happy to pay accordingly. I feel like portions with Laundry weren't on par with pricing. We had two small plates and two large plates for a party of four. Large plates were right at $70. We left wanting more but decided we'd grab dessert elsewhere. Maybe it's being in Steamboat? Our home base is Denver and comparable dining options in felt a little less pricy. Either way, if money isn't an object, definitely go. If money is a consideration, Laundry is special treat, date night worthy. read more

Food 4 stars Happy hour and drinks 5 stars Service 1 star We really enjoyed our dinner and drinks but very much felt like we were inconveniencing Tall Tom by being sat in his section. I even tried to flip the script and remind him that we used to run in the same circles but it didn't seem to matter. We were rushed through our meal even though there were long periods of time we sat with nothing in front of us. This was insult to injury because we easily could have finished if we had been able to order. We might come in for another evening and sit at the bar, or try to get another waiter but it was unfortunate that we spent over $200 and had a bad experience because of the customer service. Talking with other locals, this has happened to them as well. read more

Wow Laundry was top notch. We had early reservations at 4:30 but the place was packed! Everything top to bottom was excellent - the menu has a ton of options (everything is family style/shareable) so we shared 3 small plates (the cauliflower, beef brisket and Mac & Cheese) and they were soo delicious. So much flavor, beautiful presentation and pretty prompt service as well. Then we shared the fried chicken as our entree which came with two sauces, pickled veggies and some mashed potatoes with gravy. The chicken inside was moist and flavorful, the crispy exterior wasn't too crispy or thick. And the potatoes were so rich (honestly everything was rich, in a good way). Last, we finished with the apple cobbler which was different than I was expecting! It's really an apple filling over crumbled shortbread which was a little firm (as shortbread is), but the sweetness was just right. The overall ambiance was super cool too - I loved the exposed brick and the fact that it's a historic building that used to actually be a laundry was neat. Definitely would recommend and come back! read more
