Not at my usual spot today. I met a friend to clean laundry and chat. Not the cleanest. Decent functioning washing machines with decent prices, dryers are iffy. I like to wash my hands when I go to do my laundry. There was no soap in restrooms. I reported this to someone that works there. She fumbled with the dispenser for a moment, and tells me, "so sorry." For my towels, I purposely used a larger dryer and did not come close to stuffing it. Dryer #213 needs to be serviced.. Put about $2 on high and got back lukewarm warm damp towels. Dryer #211 needs to be serviced. Got back lukewarm, almost damp clothes. My friends clothes came out burning hot. (out of #219) but other dryers she used were also not that effective. The whole place could use a person dedicated to go around cleaning everything for people to use and troubleshooting what needs to be repaired. read more

This place is horrible. 2 Homeless people stay there all the time and fight constantly . Machines are always down and not serviced and a lot of washers take your money and then won't start and no one wants to help you. There are air conditioners but they don't work and only a few ceiling fans are on. Today was unbearable and I came home sick from the heat. Oh and why have an ATM when it's usually out of service. My go-to laundromat for years that always has washers and dryers available, and they get the job done. The employees are nice but can be occupied with other tasks. I haven't experienced what some of the other negative reviews share but any time I've needed help they've been great. read more

It really is terrible. I only went here because I had some business to handle in a nearby town and figured, why not do a couple loads before heading back to CT since I already had my laundry and soap with me in the car. Some washers wont let you change modes from cold to hot and vice versa. I was lucky enough to find an open small washer on a Saturday morning and, of course, it had a door issue that prevented it from washing properly. That problem caused the washer to erroneously end the cycle about a minute after soaking my clothes in soap and water. The attendant did pay for another machine for me to use, of course, after I soaked the floor with my dripping wet clothes to transfer them. Only 2 pros are there are plenty of machines and they use a card system instead of quarters. But its dirty and grimy in here. Even the soap receptacles above the machines are nasty and have residue built up. Blech! read more

The washing machine literally went on fire right in front of me with my clothes in it. Firefighters and the owner were talking it up and said the cause of fire was "undetermined" yet they offered me nothing, all of my clothes left to ashes because of this establishment and I get nothing; not an apology, clothes, or my money back. The owner was actually rude and acted like it was my fault that his washing machine went on fire because I simply used it as directed. The owner shooed me away with nothing but the clothes on my back. I am in contact with my lawyer. read more

The signs all over this laundry advising us to "DO NOT leave laundry unattended else it will be removed from machines" aren't adhered to.....so...*shrugs*. Due to the enormous size of this place I've never seen it extremely full so maybe they've never actually had to enforce this rule. The attendants aren't very friendly and it doesn't appear that English is their first language so maybe it's just that barrier that makes them seem this way. This business has no phone number but they are a 24/7 establishment. And you may drop off your laundry and pick up as well. The temperature inside is always weather appropriate, cool in the summer and warm during the colder months. It is what it is, a darn huge, not too cheap laundry very conveniently located to me. What more can I ask for? Is a glass of wine while I wait and take in some shows on one of their tellies too much? Maybe. The End. read more

Horrible!!!' Run by inefficient man whom ignored me 25straight minutes when the machine ate 20 dollars with no way to refund. Rude rude rude. Do not use this place, the women that work here are not allowed to help with the machine and ignored me as well. Had to repack dirty clothes and take them elsewhere. read more

0 stars, went to do laundry here because it is the only laundry place still open 24/7 during COVID, & i wanted to avoid the crowds during regular hours. Should've just risked getting corona in a crowded one instead. So I put my laundry in the wash, insert my detergent & press start. When the cycle finished, I went to go check on my clothes & opened the door, immediately hot steam came pouring out & water. I picked up my clothes & it was soaking wet. I put all my clothes in the basket & it was insanely soaking wet to the point where a 2 hour drying cycle wouldn't have done anything. then I check some of the clothes and there are still stains and the clothes still smell dirty, on top of it all my clothes weren't even washed. So I go up to the counter & ask them if this is normal, the man continues to ask me why i would bring the cart to the counter & mess up his floor, I say ok I didn't want to leave my clothes unsupervised. he sighs angrily & says I should have left my clothes in the machine & came to get him. He then continues to complain about his floors & that what I did made no sense. I then ask him why he's getting mad at me & complaining to the customer when his machine didn't do what i paid for it to do in the first place??? Just insane & rude. Corona got this man out of his mind. He then went & paid for two machines & gave me very cheap detergent that I'm sure will give me a rash later. Unbelievable. It is 96 degrees outside and this place has no air conditioning. My wife had a bout with heat stroke and had to be cooled down. If this place does not install air conditioning, especially in the Summer months, I will be filing a grievance with the Department of Health. read more

Had two loads of laundry that finished with one being extra soaked and the other being barely washed. The rude attendants decided he was going to avoid helping me until I had to get a angry. At first he tried to blame me for the machine issues. 45 minutes of him helping other instead of just offering a refund for both machines and detergent. He then proceeds to tell me what items were preventing the machine from working properly. These are the same items I have washed for years in these same damn machines. Extremely rude to the point where I should have called Nassau Police. Fix the damn machines and if they don't work, take them out of Service. I won't be coming here ever again read more

Extremely pricey drop off service at almost 80 cents a pound! Clothes feel funny as if they were washed in cheap soap... Mind you I asked if they used Tide and Downey and drop off and was told yes... When you drop off they call you 50 million times a day for pick up from various numbers (totally annoying during work hours, evenings, and weekends)! So if you're not able to come pick up the next day, be prepared for at least 8 calls a day at all times during the day... Also they don't care when they wash the clothes. At drop off they say they separate, but they don't. I have whites that are now blue and purples and black with images on them that are now faded... Oh, and they charge extra for everything; e.g. mats, blankets, you name it. I will never drop off clothes here again! This is the first and the last time. If I come here again, it will be to wash myself. Completely dissatisfied and disgusted!!! read more

A neighbor recommended this place to try since my home washing machine is being serviced. I left before actually washing my clothes because I saw roaches crawling inside and around three of the machines (numbers 72, 73 and 74). I didn't bother checking the other machines. I've dropped laundry off here several times and get angry every time because I have to refold everything! Super wrinkly, they don't separate anything or use any common sense when folding. Underwear, children pants, adults shirts all just piled up together. It takes me more time to refold and organize than if I just did it myself in the first place. Not coming back here. read more

I have been using this place for about 3yrs for their drop off laundry service and they lost a pillow case of mine. Now I'm not one to make a fuss over a measly pillow case but that $hit was Kate Spade. I am really disappointed in the manner in which they dealt with the issue when I brought it to their attention. I addressed it with them and they pretended not to understand what I was saying. Not failing to mention the fact that the owners are Asian and I have witnessed them speaking English numerous times. The self identified manager/owner began to blame me for not given them an entire set and took my number and did not follow up 3 mths later despite my efforts of reaching out to them. Don't even mention compensation because when I mentioned that, the response was a smirk. I will NEVER return and I will make sure to let every one I know not to use their services. Clearly they didn't not care about their customers as cited by other reviews here. If there was a rating below one star, that's what they would get. Disgusting people. read more
